This hotel is very clean, located 5 mins from Provenza and it’s like a 20 mins ride to the airport. The staff was extremely friendly especially the night staff! ♥️♥️My room was cleaned daily, the pool was clean, as well as the gym however I did not get to experience the spa as I was busy with excursions. The breakfast was great and its buffet style. The security at the hotel is also great especially at night time. There’s a full body mirror in my room. They also had someone playing music at the piano at night time for dinner. The person who checked me in on my first night was great!!! His customer service was amazing. The hotel is also walking distance to the main road but it’s away from all the traffic noises so I loved that.♥️ it’s so peaceful and comforting.the hotel also arranged my airport pick up and the gentleman Edgar was very welcoming and warm. I’ll be back soon and with a few friends.

The lightening in my room is not very bright but the bathroom light is great.

Was a large Jr Suite room with a nice shower. We were greeted at the front entrance as we checked in, where the chief bellman secured our luggage, and directed us upstairs two floors to the front desk, and from that point on everyone staff was absolutely wonderful. We had dealings with the Front Desk, Bell man, Maid, Bartender, Waitstaff, and without exception they were all friendly, and very capable, The building was very clean. Nice pool and gym down below. Breakfast was excellent, nice presentation, fresh, and we were well cared for. Although ALL the staff that we encountered were very nice, the head Bellman really stood out; he was from Caldas, not far away, and he always had good advice for us as we awaited a cab when sightseeing. We will return.

The hotel is literally built into the side of a mountain, so getting around was a bit tricky. As I mentioned the entrance was two floors below the main desk, the gym was one floor below the pool, and walking down the driveway or anywhere around the area is pretty steep. Outdoor hot tub could be a bit warmer, pls.

The service is outstanding at the front desk and from all the team greeting and helping. The service in breakfast is good. The beds and pillows were sooo comfy and delicious. The room service food soo sooo sooo good, And pretty fast. The pool area ia really relaxing. For us with family plans, the lack of ladies waiting for tourists and vice versa, was very pleasant. The area in the Castropol neighborhood is amazing, no bars and loud noise in the evening. Oh and the ac on spot.

The hallways feel outdated, and need a remodel. Would like a coffee maker and hairdryer in my room.

An extensive buffet breakfast, more suited to Colombians, but hey, when in Rome. We asked for boiled or fried eggs in addition and that wasn’t a problem. Pool is nice if the weather cooperates. Elevators were fast and quiet. Room was very quiet, didn’t hear anyone in the hallway or outside the building.

It’s billed as a 5 star and it’s not, at least appearance wise. The other Dann Carlton is. So if you lower your expectations a little, this is not a bad choice for the money. Bathroom door stuck ( because bad design of bathroom exposed it to water) tv remote confusing and different for each room. Once we were instructed on ite use, we were fine. A bit too far from El Poblado area to comfortably walk to restaurants/bars, but Ubers super cheap. We ordered them every time we left the property.

The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast; there was an unlimited buffet with many delicious options. It is in a good location in the southwest of the city, near one of Medellin's most significant and well-known neighborhoods for the nightlife (El Poblado). My room was spacious and clean, and the bed was huge and comfortable. The facilities were well-conserved and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful with my requests and questions. The hotel had a pool; I didn't have the chance to use it, but it looked clean and fresh for those hot days in the city. I'll definitely come back when I revisit Medellin!

I had some trouble with the double payment at the counter, but it was corrected immediately; I think this hotel is almost perfect for the rest!

For the money i paid, it was well worth it! The staff were helpful and approachable. The included breakfast was delicious, i loved it!

I liked the property very much but they claim to be a 5 star hotel but they are not there yet. The facilities are out-dated and when i arrive the phone in my room was not working and it took them almost 2 days to fix it but it still made static noises when i was in a call. But at least it was working i guess. Don’t get me wrong, this place is worth the money you pay but it is definitely not a 5-star hotel.

It was my 2nd and 3rd stay at the Belford and I have been as happy as I was the first time: quiet location just 5 minutes by car from the center of El Poblado, stylish appeal, great pool, comfy rooms with everything you can ask for, good breakfast (for Colombia that is), very helpful and friendly English speaking (!!!) staff. At this price level a gem!

Like in my first visit there is one point calling for improvement and reducing the overall rating from 10 to 9: The maid service doesn't work properly. The Minibar was not refilled twice, the room wasn't made up one time. Almost daily there was something missing in the room, e.g. they took away the used glasses from the Minibar but did not replace them 3 times. This definitely needs management attention but besides that my stay was perfect!

Better lighting in the bedroom could be improved also for a five star Hotel we would’ve expected coffee tea making facilities in the room at standard !! We had to paid room service each time when we were wanting a coffee at night as ent body else would!! So Belford you need to fix this !!

I always say at the Dann Carlton Belfort as it feels like a home away from home. It’s nestled in a perfect location in Poblado and walking distance from the fun and nightlife. The staff is so warm and welcoming and the facilities are very clean. The gym needs some updating and the jacuzzi could be a bit warmer, but that’s the only facilities complaint. The daily breakfast is also amazing with fresh food, fruits and juices.

I wish the gym would be updated! It’s such a great place and very clean, but needs to have newer machines.

Wonderful breakfast buffet with local fare and many options. Great service from the staff (Robinson, breakfast waiter was outstanding). Comfortable clean room in a quiet part of El Poblado. Parking lot with security guard. Rental car option at a good price right at the hotel (GTN). Would stay here again.
