The hotel is beautifully designed and my room, along with the spacious bathroom, was big and comfortable. I really liked the desk in front of the big window framed by lush greenery. The hotel is located within a 15 min walk from the main Poblado action hub around Parque Lleras, not that you ever need to go there because there is already so much choice of restaurants and cafes around (Mamasita Medallo is a really fun place, but you have to book). Personally, I prefered the more low-key vibe of this area. It's also within walking distance to the El Poblado metro stop, making it a good base from which to explore the city. Friendly staff.

The main problem for me was the noise coming from motocycles, which cause a lot of noise pollution in El Poblado. It's not the hotel's fault, but worth mentioning for light sleepers. The earplugs I got from Reception helped, but I mostly had to sleep with the pillow over my head. Breakfast is also very basic, especially if you don't eat eggs in the morning. Some more continental breakfast options such as pastries and jam would be welcome (there was a waffle on the menu but this was extra). Additionally, in a country well known for its coffee and many varieties of fruit, there is really no excuse to serve instant coffee and artificial juice. It was a shame for the lovely rooftop location with a view of the mountains.

The location of the Manila Hotel is excellent with lots of bars & restaurants close by, and Poblado & the metro in easy walking distance. We quite liked the parred back, slightly industrial style. The breakfast was alright, not great. We made a couple of suggestions to the reception staff which they took up. Whilst it's on a busy corner, traffic noise didn't keep us awake.

The Deluxe Double room was small, not really a double room & certainly not 'deluxe'. Breakfast was mediocre, the bread stale & the coffee poor.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly, and the room was clean. The dinner was simple but tasty, featuring fresh juice, eggs, fruits, breads, croissants with cheese and butter, and a variety of jams. The location is good and the hotel if very safe. Overall, considering the price, the hotel offers very good quality.

The only downside was the poor sound insulation; I could hear my neighbors and cars from the street. Additionally, we did not have WiFi in our room and were supposed to change rooms. However, the overall WiFi speed was good, and I was able to work on the veranda and make calls without issues. I believe there was a WiFi problem only on our floor.

Perfect location in Manila area. Plenty of restaurant cafes and bars etc in walking distance on attached streets.. Much quieter to sleep than the hostels close by (stayed at a couple and the music was crazy loud). Staff were great and helpful as I kept extending my stay. Super comfy bed. Lovely shower. Huge room. Ranch slider opened up so could get some fresh air.. room service from yummy restaurant downstairs.

Only thing I could fault, is the street noise (cars, people talking) from 6am so if light sleeper wear earplugs, easy fix. I was on the street side on the 2nd floor.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful, in particular, Diego (who helped us with an early check-in and room change). Excellent location for restaurants & bars. Short walk to El Poblado metro station. Comfortable bed and room. Nice shower with good water pressure and ample hot water.

Breakfast was adequate, but jam or marmalade of some sort would have been nice. Note that not all double rooms have a window (not easy to spot on photos_.

I have been anticipating staying at this hotel since last year and it did not disappoint. The location is perfect as you can walk to different areas of El Poblado from its location. The hotel itself has a Mexican restaurant on the ground floor and a lot of good options on its neighbors. The rooms are nicely appointed with an industrial design. A little too small though but it's fine. The reception staff are nice, friendly and helpful.

You can hear the toilet flushes from the room above and sounds from the outside.

+ location - within a minute there are many restaurants and bars and within 10 minutes more there's a Poblado district centre where there are lots of restaurants and bars and much more. I can't imagine a better location in Medellín. + very comfortable room and bed and well equipped (european 4 stars standard) + room looks exactly like on pictures

- we had room by the staircase and the elevator, and inside we could perfectly hear the party from a rooftop bar (that finished around midnight). It was a problem only on Friday and Saturday but it's important for lightsleepers. - reception space is very narrow (uncomfortable when there are other people entering or leaving the hotel)

The location of this hotel is great. It's a 10 minute walk from the Metro and close to lots of good restaurants and coffee shops. The interior of the hotel is really nice. The room is slightly on the small side, but beautifully decorated and very comfortable. A lot of Poblado is really touristy in an uncomfortable way, but this hotel is in a quieter area where you are unlikely to be harassed by hawkers or surrounded by drunk tourists on the street. I saw a comments about noise, but we really didn't experience that even on weekends. The street noise was no worse than the large city where we live in the US. The breakfast was tasty and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Can't think of anything! Be sure to use the auto setting on your air conditioning, not the cool setting, unless you like it really freezing.

The staff at frontdesk was very friendly. They were very helpfull, calling taxi's for us without any hestitation. They gave us suggestions "do's" and "don's" where to go. Like restaurants and malls

Th e breakfast was not so nice.here was only one matter that we dislike. It is not with the hotel , but with a taxi driver. It looks like that he did not know where the hotel is and set the tripmeter on a high charge so he overcharged us more than COP10m. The taxi number is ...126.

I like the hotel style, really industrial modern. The mini fridge is a plus. Staff were nice and easy check in and out. Breakfast was the best, pretty good. Downstairs restaurant is very convenient, the hotel is also walking distance to many restaurants and the metro. I always felt safe in that location. The hotel also connected me with airport transportation and they were very attentive to my arrival.

The room linens were not to clean. I ask for a change and only received an extra blanket, I end up not using the comforter. I feel that a bit more dusting is need it. I recommend adding an extra mirror and trash in the room. Remember that like in any city hotel, you can hear the outside noise and the big windows don’t help avoid it. You can hear the party music from other hotels/ rooftops.
