Excellent location within walking distance to the metro and lots of lovely restaurants and cafes. The place was spotless and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. Breakfast was substantial, with three different options. Special shout out to Nora who was lovely and very patient with our limited Spanish.

Bathroom was very small (tricky for my tall husband) and poor soundproofing of the rooms meant you could hear other guests. But generally at night it was fairly quiet.

Nicely decorated rooms - staff was very accommodating (due to an error we didn't book the room for the right date but we're still given a room for what would then be our first night for the same price). Breakfast was great (can recommend both the pancakes and the Omlet) & wifi worked well. Warm showers, comfy bed and safe location. Everything one needs in the area and accessible by foot. 9/10

Our second room had some signs of water damage on the wall beside the bed - although there didn't seem to be any mold when we stayed there, we tend to be careful with such things. Other than that no complaints and we would still book it again.

Excellent and central location that was super easy to get to and from. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful! Would highly recommend if staying here if you’re planning on visiting Medellín.

Honestly it was a great stay. If you are looking for somewhere incredibly quiet this might not be for you as the location is quite central. But we didn’t mind as it was exactly what we were looking for.

Absolutely wonderful boutique hotel! Lovely little house in the middle of el Poblado. Could not recommend this more. The staff is soo friendly, so helpful. The breakfast is incredible and gets make every morning by the lovely ladies. The wifi works super well. The place is cozy and feels like a home. You get to meet people from all around the common areas are super comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Really beautifully decorated with lots of plants.

It is very loud. We had two rooms because we had to switch after a night. The first room was right by the front door so everyone who came in woke us up. The second was right by the kitchen and people stayed up talking late and then breakfast started early z there’s also not a lot of ventilation in the rooms without windows, it can be very stuffy.

Beautiful little hotel with exceptional professional service that's willing to please! Lovely and comfortable, with a real sweetheart of a manager named Mauro who scheduled our breakfast way earlier than customary so we could eat before our tour to Guatape. I most enjoyed the comfortable beds and bathroom, with a delicious home cooked breakfast each morning. Also, free filtered water and coffee all day long!

No tv in the rooms but that's okay because we were out most of the time. There's a great tv in common area until 10 pm. No AC in rooms but good ceiling fan, but it gets hot by midday.

Great staff, great location for Poblado area. Easy walk into Poblado or down the metro station. The breakfast included is very good with lots of fresh juices. The staff couldn’t be nicer.

The rooms could be a little loud. Street noise or noise from other rooms could be heard for light sleepers.

Great place in Poblado neighborhood of Medellin. The hosts were great, we arranged transportation to and from the airport with them over WhatsApp and also all the inquires we had regarding accommodation. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast. It is close to the Poblado park where most of the tours start. Also close to the restaurant/bars area, excellent for a stroll at late evening and grabbing a dinner or drink.

We had problems in our toilet, first the button for flushing stopped working but they repaired it the same day. Also there was some kind overflow and small flooding in the bathroom which they were unable to repair so we had to open and close the vent for filling the toilet to prevent the overflow and flooding. Other than that, everything was good.

The facilities were amazing! Rooms were cosy, and they preserved the original paisa architectural style from the past and I just found that an amazing thing. The staff was super helpful and always there to assist in case there was any need. Breakfast was incredible and location was just on point: Just 4 blocks away from the closest metro station and with El Poblado area all the way up east with all of its nice restaurants, cafés and Antique Stores. Highly recommended!

There was a minor leak in the bathroom of our room but wasn't the end of the world. They said they'll take care of it soon, as it has been raining a lot in the city. Also, as the house itself preserves the classic paisa architectural style, noise can be a bit of a thing as the doors are not acoustic isolated and the patio is just in the middle of the building but that, again, was a minor thing as guests were quiet and chill.

The check in process was easy and welcoming. All the staff was extremely friendly and answered each of our questions. The rooms are very comfortable and have all the essentials in a very cozy setting. Last but not least, breakfast was unbelievably delicious, cooked at order. We definitely felt as if we were right at home.

Everything in our room at Casa Botanica was perfect. The only thing I would add would be a full body mirror to the “Cacao” room, where we stayed.
