Nice location within walking distance from Metro and lots of great restaurants. Rooms are clean and modern with attentive friendly staff, many of whom speak English. Good breakfast. I had the opportunity to to stay there twice and experienced three size rooms, from standard to what I think they call executive. All nice.

My only complaint is that there was noise from construction around the hotel on both sides. One building is getting taken down, one being constructed. The sealing on the openable ventilation window isn't as good as it could be. Hopefully they will address.

The location was good, close to everything. The staff was amazing and super friendly. The place looked amazing it has a beautiful interior design. I lost my phone in an Uber and reception were really attentive and helped me get it back.

Since the hotel has just opened, the restaurant and the rooftop jacuzzi were not ready. The breakfast was included but didn't have a table to sit us. The jacuzzi in one of the rooms still need some attention for hot water, however these issues did not opaque the overall experience and had a good time.

Golden Valley Hotel is in a great location.. The rooftop bar/restaurant was fantastic. The room was perfect. The staff were so kind and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Medellin.

This hotel is the most underrated place in the area. The room was amazing—very modern, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help with anything I needed during my stay. The rooftop is stunning, with an incredible view and great drinks. The location is also perfect. Everything is really close, so I didn’t need to travel far for anything. Another thing I loved was how safe it felt. There is security at the entrance 24/7, and they make sure only hotel guests or their visitors can enter. That gave me even more peace of mind. Honestly, this hotel deserves way more attention. I’d definitely stay here again!

This hotel was excellent for our stay in Medellin. Location was great because it was close enough to shops/restaurants (~10min walk) but not right in the centre of everything so it didn’t get too loud. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with everything. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with everything we needed (shampoo, conditioner, lotion was great!). Breakfast included was delicious and lovely to enjoy on the rooftop terrace. Beautiful views of the city from the terrace and a nice jacuzzi to enjoy. Couldn’t say better things about this place.

The rooftop view was incredible as was the rooftop pool. Our family really enjoyed using these facilities. The room is beautifully decorated modern and very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to help us and make sure we were comfortable from breakfast requests to sleeping requests. It was exceptional value for money. The shower and toiletries were a real treat. It felt really luxurious from start to finish, and the breakfast was really really good!! Would definitely choose to stay here again

Our only issue and it’s not the fault of the hotel, was it was really noisy outside in the evenings and early mornings , but that’s due to the area

The restaurant located in the building was soon to open. However, this was mentioned once I booked and I was always provided by staff with the best restaurant suggestions in the area.

We loved the top floor with the restaurant and hot tub! Especially after a day in the city to unwind in the hot tub with a refreshing drink and enjoy the view! The staff were all very helpfull and friendly!

The rooms are a bit dark, but that's just personal if you like that or not. Not a deal breaker. And we were unfortunate that they were building a new building across from the hotel and totally blocked our view of the city. Again, not a deal breaker! I would come back, just for the rooftop!

Hot water in the room stopped working the last day and after telling the front desk no one came before I left to fix the issue. Had to take a cold shower the last day, but all the other days it was great, Just wish the repair could have happened faster.

Loved the rooftop breakfast to start the day. It was nice that there was a security guy at the door when I came back late. Really enjoyed the room once I figured out that you have to leave your key in the wall to get electricity. Good location in relation to the sites and has good food and shopping nearby.

I got in on a weekend night and the bar downstairs next door was having a very loud party. The music sounded like it was in my room, and I was about 4 stories up. I put my earplugs in and was able to get to sleep but I still could hear the noise.
