We loved having two separate bedrooms and our big balcony where we could see the pool and the beach from. We loved that this place was at the south end of Jaco (closer to where we went surfing) so it was quieter and less crowded. We still had places to walk to eat (loved the Paddlefish Brewery nearby!). And there's a great, fairly easy hike up to a lookout spot just behind the hotel on the other side of the road. The hotel itself is small and really nicely kept and nicely decorated. Very relaxing and pretty!

Our room (room 200) was SO loud. I would definitely not stay in there again. We were next to the stairs and also the elevator, which made a lot of noise each time it was used. We were above the kitchen and housekeeping area as well as next to the road and entrance. The other thing that made this less desirable was there was no place to sit in the room(s) except for the beds. With the balcony and the stools and chairs out there, it was fine, but it would have been nice to have one chair in the room.

So much to like about this resort! Service is a 10+!! It is right on the beach which is a highlight for walking and enjoying breathtaking sunsets! The staff were exceptional, the restaurants food was amazing, and we loved seeing the sloth on the grounds, and the scarlett mccaws fly overhead daily. Exceptionally clean, this resort has a wonderfully warm vibe amongst all who were staying here. We were spoiled by our 2 bedroom condo unit!!

Its unfortunate that this beautiful resort is right beside a busy road where big trucks travel and have to use their air brakes coming down the hill and it's sporadically loud throughout the day and night, On weekends only, it can get busy with the locals enjoying the lawn between the resort and the beach, playing loud music as well.

It is a lovely property. Small boutique style hotel on the very south edge of Jaco beach. The beds were very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The property is right on the beach with a small public lawn between the hotel and the beach. Beautiful view from the restaurant, pool and rooms. And fairly close to many attractions and activities - tours, hikes, waterfalls, etc.

The food and drinks were a bit pricey. There were not any other options nearby without either walking about a mile on the beach into town, or driving.

We loved everything about our stay! The location was perfect; on the south end of Jaco and an easy drive to visit Manuel Antonio National Park. Our two bed/two bath condo on the beach was wonderful. The condo was clean and furnished beautifully. The free breakfast was so good and and the lunch and dinner menus had great variety. We ate all of our meals there and the four of us enjoyed every dish. The best part about Club del Mar was the friendly, helpful staff. From reception, to management, to the pool bar and the restaurant everyone made us feel welcome and pampered. The restaurant servers were the best. We didn't want to leave! I can't think of anything we didn't like about our stay!

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It made you feel like home. The food was exceptional and they cooked fish we caught. We liked it so much we booked for next year.

The only thing we did not like was the noise from the trucks using their Jake brakes on the highway that is next to the Resort. However, we soon got use to it and the noise is only real loud in front of the Resort.

It was in a lovely spot at the end of the beach. The sunsets were exceptional every night. The staff were excellent. It had a nice personal touch. The inclusive breakfast was very good, nice menu, plenty to eat and drink and waiter service. Our room was very spacious, as was the bathroom with lovely views over the pool and beach. Very pretty. The pool bar was very nice at lunchtime too.

Everything closed down very early, the bar was always shut by 10 pm. There wasn’t any atmosphere in the evenings.

Great pool and beachfront areas. Spacious room. Good breakfast. Very close to El Mirador walk. Not too far to walk into town.

Unlike all hotels we have stayed in that have a coffee maker, Club del Mar does not supply any tea or coffee in your room. Surprising for a hotel at this level to neglect this. Coffee is available in the lobby but providing in the room should be a given in todays world Some truck noise from the road and hill behind the resort.

Club Del Mar is located on a private, peaceful, and beautiful location at the end of playa jaco, closest to playa hermosa. It is away from the busy end of playa jaco town . The food at the restaurant was excellent and the people working at the hotel were so friendly and kind. The apartment we stayed in had a gorgeous garden and ocean view and it was very spacious and clean. We were walking distance to El Miro,a great hiking trail, and walking distance to surf rentals and other restaurants. The pool is wonderful and we saw iguanas, macaws, and a raccoon. We surfed and swam right at the beach in front of the hotel. I highly recommend the restaurant at the hotel, the food is excellent and reasonably priced and the people working at the hotel are so helpful and hard working.

We stayed in a two bedroom ocean view condo and it was spacious, modern and comfortable. The pool is a nice temperature and large, the food is very good, and the staff are friendly and professional. The breakfast was amazing. We loved the location, right on the beach. Everything you need is at the hotel

We loved everything about this hotel. If you wanted to eat out at other restaurants or go for groceries, it's a 20 min walk to the downtown Jaco area.

We had a two bedroom, two bathroom unit. It is very clean, we had all the amenities needed in the kitchen, but the food was really good at the restaurant that we didn’t need to cook. Loved the washer/dryer in the unit. The grounds are well maintained and the staff were very friendly; Julio and David at the front desk to Marvin, Olman, William, Oscar, and Jose in the restaurant/pool bar. They are excellent and ensure for the best experience.
