The hotel is in a beautiful location, with lovely sunset views. Beach was nice, though there were no free beach chairs provided by the hotel. Pool was nice and there were plenty of chairs there. Pool towels provided but no beach towels. Full breakfast was included. Nice rocking chairs outside the rooms to sit on and enjoy the ocean views. Staff were friendly. Restaurant was always open.

The front desk was open very limited hours. Our room was only cleaned once during our 5-night stay, and even then I had to ask for it to be done. There were very weird and restrictive rules - no food or water bottles allowed in public areas, no alcohol permitted anywhere on the property unless you bought it from them at very inflated prices.

We stayed one night, as we transitioned from SJO to Uvita the following morning. The location was perfect, right on the beach. it was clean and comfortable and the breakfast/coffee was perfect. The location directly on the beach allowed us to start our first full day in Costa Rica with a lovely walk and dip into the ocean.

We arrived at 6;30 pm on a Saturday and was told the restaurant closes at 8:30 pm. We went down for dinner at 7 pm and the restaurant was closed. Fortunately there was a brewpub 2 blocks away that was an easy walk.

The property is absolutely beautiful. I have never been this close to the beach, you can hear the sound of wave, look at the ocean just open the door. The place is clean.

I wish they have mini fridge and a microwave in the room. Mini fridge is more important

The beach was amazing, fine sand, small waves perfect for beginner surfers and swimming. The facilities were well maintained and close to the beach that you could easily leave and go for a swim in the water. It is further away from the main area with the restaurants and shops but you can easily take a $2 uber or walk the beach.

The room was comfortable but a bit dated and in need of repairs. Nothing major and it was only my room which had some small issues.

This hotel has a lot of rules. These rules are such as: No outside food or alcohol allowed, not even in your room, Guests must wear a wrist band, Dress shirts must be worn in restaurant area (which is on the beach) at all times, Front gate locks at 9pm, afterwards you have to find security to move your car in or out. We did not run afoul of these rules, however, so it really didn't affect us.

I love this hotel. It's in the best location....down the quiet end of the beach and very beautiful. It's clean, simple, spacious rooms are very comfortable and had everything I need. The staff are wonderful - helpful & friendly - and the beach restaurant is great, lovely food, good music with an incredible view. If you don't fancy getting sandy, there's a pool too with lots of beds. Great little hotel, in short. I'm staying again next week! ☺️🌊🌴🌺

Location is the best of this hotel. Be in front of the sea with this price is super good! Restaurant also is very nice with the view of the sea.

The A/C did not work well. It was not cold enough. The light comes inside the room in the morning because the curtain does not have covers on the edges for blackout. Very basic room. I could not hang my bathing suits, either the wet cloth in any place. There are no hangers to dry the cloth. I advise the hotel to put some in the room. But, for the price I paid, I did not expect that much inside the room. So, I left very happy from my stay and I would return again.

We could see the beach directly from our room and it was beautiful. The onsite restaurant (also where breakfast is served) is very good. There is also surf lessons right on the beach next door which was very convinient.

The staff missed cleaning our room one morning. There are also no coolers or offsite food allowed at the pool

I love the fact it is close by the strip like 4-5 minutes driving. There’s very easy access to the beach & store. The food & drinks were good and lastly the receptionist was helpful.

The property needs to provide mini fridge in each rooms, iron and water.
