Lovely area, so close of the beach, Staff kind and helpful.

Breakfast poor, portions laughable on the ‘continental breakfast’ - one sausage cut in half + 1 small potato cut into 3 and 2 eggs, honestly thought they were playing a joke on us …but turns out that’s what they offered … the burritos were much better in size and taste however Room cleaned daily however stayed for 8 nights and only had bed changed once ok the last night… with the suncream and hot weather + significant number of ants that appeared over the day via the bathroom we felt it definitely needed changing much earlier, to be honest this would have made the stay much better.

The staff was excellent. They went over and above to make our stay exactly what we wanted it to be. They helped book excursions and made recommendations. Diego woke early on our departure day to serve us fruit and yogurt to go and coffee! The breakfast inclusion in the room rate was 100% worth it, as the food was great. The location was wonderful for walking to restaurants, grocery, bank and beach! We had monkey and other wonderful critter encounters at the hotel. The pool was well maintained and refreshing each day.

Because the location of the hotel is very close to all amenities, the nightlife noise, and live music was quite loud. The room decor is a little dated.

Location. Close to city yet the noise of busy pubs (some nights only) don't interfere with your sleep. My husband got a travel bug and had to go to the chemist's. It is literally in the shopping centre opposite the hotel. It was very handy. Breakfast. Choice was good (in La Fortuna and Santa Elena, Monteverde we were served rice with beans and eggs everyday, no other options. They were also 3 star accommodations). We had omelette and Mediterranean burrito twice. Early breakfast. We had to take 7.00 am bus as we were travelling back to San Jose to catch a flight. They were kind to serve us breakfast before the normal serving time (7am). In Monteverde we were refused that. Thank you again to a lovely lady who preps the food. We stayed there for 5 nights and didn't get bored by breakfast. Haven't tried all the options as the previous ones were too good to switch to American breakfast (toast and egg) for instance. Staff. Friendly, approachable, English spoken. Hammock. Each room had a little veranda with a hammock. Houses are in shade so it was lovely to use hammocks now and then.

We were at the end of April which is normally the end of dry season. The garden was green but if it was me, I would pay more attention to removing dry leaves in the houses part. Water in the swimming pool looked funny. There are lots of palms around and the flowers were loosing small bits of staff which you could find in the swimming pool. They cleaned the swimming pool for sure but I am not sure how often the water was changed. Three flower pots with dead plants by the reception area (left side as you enter the premises). It is always more welcoming when there are plants, colourful flowers. Especially in Costa Rica.

HotWe stayed in this hotel for 5 days, it’s 5-8 mins walk to the beach, beachfront restaurants and shops.. The breakfast was amazing and consistent, very healthy and nutritious..Many thanks David and Carlos with his Team who were at service all week.. We would certainly recommend chilling by the pool after those long excursions and the hotel staff are at your desposal as and when you are any food, smoothies etc.. Our regards to the resident, very shy Iguana & the cat.. we will miss you. Thank you

Hotel Villa rooms are newly renovated. Comfortable and clean with private patio. Pool and grounds are a lovely sanctuary within a short distance to centre of Tamarindo.

A bit of morning road noise and some night club music late. Not the hotels fault just awareness. We drowned it out with AC. Very handy to town, coffee shops, restaurants & beach. No vehicle necessary

The staff was very nice and accommodating. They were able to arrange a 2 hour ride for us last minute which I really appreciated. The pool was amazing, the property was well cared for, the rooms were nice, and the restaurant had decent food. We saw howler monkeys in the trees around the property and there are two adorable resident cats that hang out. The place is centrally located, right in town and close to anything you'd need.

Slightly away from the main drag but walking distance to everywhere. The rooms were large and quiet. The landscaping was beautiful. Air conditioning can be hard to find, but the wall unit kept us cool enough with a light blanket. Loved the breakfast and restaurant staff.

No complaints except the large ditch you have to maneuver your car over; def bottomed out each time! Only a slight facilities issue with a bad shower head, but they replaced it right away and was able to wash my hair. Thank you!!

The property is a lovely little oasis within the bustling town of Tamarindo. Loved the pool area, bar/restaurant were decent. Bed/pillow very comfortable. Each room had a nice outdoor sitting area. Very close walk to the beach, great location in town.

Room was a bit dated, bathroom was very small. Could use some additional hooks for hanging towels/clothes to dry.

Room was good size.Bed was very comfortable. Shower good. Environment was excellent…quiet, peaceful, lots of mature landscape. An oasis! Staff very good….friendly, helpful. Breakfast very good. Great location….short walk to beach and main restaurant and shopping area. Great stay. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great hotel for our stay, close to the downtown and beach but tucked enough away. Staff was very welcoming and the included breakfast was great! Pool was a nice reprieve after the beach or when lightly rainy. Happy hour and the extra touches for my birthday made our stay amazing! Would recommend

No pastry or meat option for breakfast. Wish parking was more tucked away.
