The hosts are very nice and were super helpful before and during our stay! There is free and secure parking in the yard, which is essential if you are coming to Dubrovnik by car. The property has a nice view of Old Town and is a 10 minute walk from the Pile Gate entrance. There are lots of stairs from the building leading down to the Old Town (which we knew ahead of time), but just be mindful of that if you aren’t good with climbing steps. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again! Side note (nothing to do with the room): if you’re planning to walk the City Walls, look into getting the Dubrovnik City Pass! It includes entrance to the City Walls and lots of museums, as well as a bus pass, for basically the same price :)

We loved everything!

We were absolutely delighted with our stay. The owner lady was so friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome and giving us great recommendations. The location was perfect, only 5 minutes walking distance to the Old Town, and with private secure FREE parking included, we had no hassle finding a spot. The room was spotlessly clean and well proportioned, with sea views. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for the perfect private room that offers absolutely everything, and at the same time, you are very close to the old town. The host is a gem. The parking fantastic. The proximity to Old Town is excellent. The space and layout of our room and its entry hall. tip: If you walk via the street to or from Old Town, the incline is much easier after a long day of high stairs. You can see Guesthouse Libertas from atop the City Wall :)

Nothing to complain about! Would recommend this excellent stay. The view was fab from our room, though the window was small because we had the quiet top floor. The design of the new extremely hot shower keeps you mindful to not let water splash out of the pan.

This was an absolute highlight. Anka and her husband have an absolute gem of a property and provide such warmth and care with their hospitality. Thank you for the laundry service (15€ for a very large load) and delicious breakfast (10€) on the lovely terrace with a view. Great parking, wifi, air conditioning. Spotlessly clean. Very central - 5 min walk to Old Town and the beach. Can highly recommend.

Not a thing!

Absolutely everything! The place is so clean, so comfy, so good quality in all aspects!! Very near to the old town, nice parking surrounded by a kitchen garden, the room is perfect in size, and the bathroom was so nice and complete! Anka is an amazing woman! She helped us after a food poisoning episode returning from Albania, She helped us like she was a second mother! With all the empathy, tenderness and compassion manners with that we are struggling with. With meals and service every 2h and with medical assistance! I absolutely recommend this place and thanks a lot to Ankas & family for making our travel a lot more easy and comfortable.

The owners are very friendly and helpful with good communication when I emailed them a question. The accommodation was very very clean and comfortable, lovely shower room. Nice terraced area for an evening glass of wine and a game of cards. Good parking at the rear or the property which the owners emailed directions for, probably would never have found it on my own. Very close to the old town and a shop / bakery.

Be aware anyone who has mobility issues as there are a lot of steps to and from the old town.... Okay going down but they will make you puff on the way back. You could come back via the main road which is all uphill but misses out most of the steps. Add those to the steps you will climb around the old town walls and you will know your legs have had a good workout 😁

We enjoyed a very comfortable 3 nights at this property, and it's an ideal place to explore the old centre of Dubrovnik. There is usually parking onsite, but at the moment there are local roadworks, so we were loaned an access card for the public car park about 50 metres away. The room is simply furnished, plenty of hot water in the private ensuite shower, everything clean and good condition. You can also use the sun loungers and outside furniture on the terrace overlooking the old city - the views are lovely. Be prepared for LOTS of flights of steps in Dubrovnik, and this property is up a hill out of town, but an easy walk right into the centre of it all.

We loved this place. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and great attention to detail (wine opener and wine glasses in the room for example). Reasonable price for a place close to the center with on-site parking. We would stay here again. The views from our window overlooking Dubrovnik were spectacular.

I wouldn’t recommend this property if you are mobility challenged. It is a bit of an uphill hike to get from old town to this building.

This room greatly exceeded our expectations! The owner was super friendly, the parking was really convenient, and it was close enough to Old Town to walk there in a 5-10 mins. Highly recommended!

There are a lot of stairs along the pathways in the surrounding areas, so this may make the location difficult for some less mobile people. This is no fault of the owners, but it is worth noting.

We were greeted by a friendly owner. Secure parking is available nearby, and the rooms are clean. The property has a kettle, tea, and coffee, and a refrigerator. The air conditioning worked well, which was fantastic when we returned to the room in Dubrovnik's high temperatures. It's a 6-minute walk to the old town, and breakfast can be purchased separately. The location is excellent.
