Walking distance from bus station and ports were excellent! The bed felt fresh and comfortable, the rooms were white and clean. Suncica at reception was so friendly and welcoming! Kafana outside was perfect!

€4 for luggage storage after staying one night is an unfair cash-grab. Too many boisterous Americans yapping loudly about nothing.

Super nice hostel at the heart of Split. Everything is close by! The rooms are spacious and people respect each other's space. There is a shared kitchen and living room area which is nice for evening get together. The bathrooms are divided in male and female. Each bathroom has 2 sinks, 2 toilets and 2 showers. It's good that you have enough privacy there. The hostel exceeded my expectations as it was super clean always, the staff who work there are kind and willing to help, besides being receptive during the check in. I really enjoyed my stay there and would definitely be back once in Split again!

The lockers are good, they fit 1 backpack but they won't fit your entire suitcase. This is not a problem, you can leave your suitcase close to your bed in the room and no one will touch it. When you have to check out, you can leave your luggage at the reception for an extra fee. Nothing to complain about it!

Super location! Right outside the old palace wall, 3 mins walk to the iconic peristyle, it was great I could come back to hide from the midday heat and the crowd and go back out anytime. Overall clean and nice common room with kitchen.

I was unlucky to get the upper bed in a crowded corner of a small room (I walked past other rooms which seem much more spacious), so it was rather messy and not the most comfortable. Depends on which room you get really. Major area for improvement: Bathroom in my mixed dorm has NO LOCK. I don’t get why, it’s so simple to install a lock. Outside my dorm, there are seemingly newly renovated bathrooms but they opt for glass slide door that you can kinda see through some parts. I really don’t understand the choices for bathroom privacy in this hostel. Highly encourage the owner to pay more attention to bathroom privacy needs so this place can be perfect. Simply install the locks please, so easy to do.

The staff were so so helpful and very accommodating. The rooms and communal areas were very clean. You could leave your luggage there and use the facilities after check out for a cheap price. All travelers were very friendly. Location was perfect couldn’t have been closer to the centre of split

The showers were cold and the water pressure wasn’t great. There were no long mirrors in the rooms so you could see yourself doing your makeup or hair. It was cash only and charged city tax each night. The room was not very spacious and we had a large suitcase so it was difficult to open it. We weren’t always given bunk beds together even though we booked together. There was a lot of stairs up to the reception area so a struggle with the suitcase !

The bathrooms were super clean, the cleanest I have ever seen in budget hostels. There was a cleaning lady daily checking up on everything. There is AC in the rooms. The staff was always very nice and helpful.

The other guests did not respect the sleep time of others, they would talk loudly at night and make noise in the morning, they left the door open and we could hear everyone in the kitchen talking from the bedroom. It is necessary to pay 4€ to store the luggage after checking out, which is overpriced because we paid to stay there, but it is still less than Bounce. At least in the room I stayed in, the lockers were small and could not fit suitcases, just small backpacks, and there was no place for the luggage besides the floor, which was okay since no one stole anything

It's clean, super close to the centre/bus station, modern, you get a locker for your valuables and a towel included in price. And, the ladies working at the reception, as well as at cleaning, are the kindest and sweetest people who help you and give you directions/tips if you need it. Highly recommended!

The AC didn't seem to be functioning super good, so it could get a bit hot during the night with 10 people breathing in one and the same room :)

Perfect location right in the center of Split Old Town

The toilets/showers are mixed gender and not much privacy when showering as it it just a shower curtain instead of a cubicle like most other hostels. People were still respectful of others privacy but its just not the best.

The location is ideal, right next to everything. This also makes it a quite lively hostel, and with no night staff there is also no one to remind people how to share a room in case alchol made them forget. I had one good night sleep, and one not so great.

Also be aware that if you take a shower at an unfortunare moment, say right after someone had a very long one, there is no hot water left.

Everything was just wonderful, stayed for one night. The price-quality ratio is justified. A beautiful old building with recent renovations. Safe, three doors with locks. Polite and friendly staff, well-functioning air conditioning (the hostel itself is fresh and cool), clean rooms, fresh and pleasant bed linen and towels. A pleasant kitchen area where you can relax or prepare food.

At night it can be noisy from the street (this is the historical center), so it is better to wear earplugs when you sleep.

Great location, one step away from city centre, 5 min away from bus station and ferries and around 15min or less to the closest beach. Super social place, as a solo traveller I met a lot of people on just two non sequential nights. There’s a plug and light for each bed.

One of the nights I was in a room where the AC was not working very well and the air was a bit stiff, although the other night was alright. Bunk beds are a bit old and mattresses not super comfortable
