One of the best things about Hotel Peristil is it's location is simply awesome. It sits right on a corner of the Old Town, steps away from Riva Promened, the port and the local market. The hotel itself is part of Old Town, with renovated interiors. The hotel interiors are well done and adequate but don't expect very modern amenities (elevator is missing). Our room on 2nd floor had an awesome view of the Old Town, it was spacious and very clean (rooms and bathroom are cleaned every day). Since we had to leave early on two mornings for tours, they were kind enough to pack us our breakfast. We got the opportunity to have their breakfast in-house one morning, it was simple but very well laid out and sumptuous. Overall, it is a beautiful hotel run by a group of really nice folks (one additional star just for its folks)

Few missing things - Elevator Electric kettle

The best possible location in the Diocletian Palace. OK staff Continental breakfast You can choose the type of egg, and there is natural yogurt, juice and cheese It is sufficient and basic without typical dishes. Large room with a mattress of acceptable firmness. Good shower Refrigerator in the room

The room is noisy from morning until 10 pm. But closing the windows well does not bother you. But the hotel could invest and use double glazing There is also no elevator. Since it is in a pedestrian zone, you have to walk to get an Uber or taxi.

Fabulous location in Diocletian’s Palace and only a few minutes walk to the bus station and ferry port. Excellent breakfast - lovely to have freshly cooked omelettes and scrambled eggs. Especially good when it’s warm enough to have breakfast outside. Breakfast staff very good. We appreciated having our luggage carried to our room (as there is no lift).

Room was somewhat small, dark and old fashioned with no safe or facilities to make a hot drink. But was clean and comfortable. Shower cubicle was small but the actual shower was good.

The first thing I noticed about this Hotel was the friendliness of the staff. I was greeted with such a warm welcome. They were very kind and accommodating. Secondly - the location was absolutely fantastic. It is located right in Diocletian's Palace and within walking distance of many things that Split has to offer. You can also walk to the bus stop to get to/from the airport and the Split port with ease from the location of this hotel. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and was the perfect start to the day. As I was travelling alone, the size of the room was perfect for me and was exactly what I needed for my stay in Split.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The hotel is located within the walls of the D Palace. The breakfast in the morning, served outside by waiters, was good. The AC in the room was excellent ( we were very thankful for the AC as it was VERY hot in Split)! Staff were somewhat friendly; especially the breakfast waiter with a beard.

Our room was located on the third floor (4th floor USA). It was a long climb up the stairs after an exhausting day. Price of room was 40-50 euros a night overpriced (as I compare it to other historic areas around Europe).

M the manager was a super sweet guy so was his partner they help with cab (taxi) luggage good breakfast little sweet treat I shared with my husband we felt like we were cared for angels location was perfect for the time we spentMay God Bless you for your kindness you are St in the making please get back to pray for peace not for me but for Our Lady and her Son Jesus they count on you ❤️🙏🏻 PS we could have listened to more of your stories

Location, location, Location. Literally in the old Roman walls under an arch. The owner sits in the Tiffany Restaurant entrance (the only entrance) at the table against the wall. He treats you like an old friend. He meets with his old friends at this table each morning. It's quite nice. The breakfasts are fabulous, good for the day. You don't have to buy the expensive street food that isn't good anyway. We ended up eating at the restaurant each night because the food was excellent at a fair price. I don't usually do this. I cook and my wife calls me a food snob. Everyone who worked there couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. It was a very nice enclave in a sea of tourist BS.

You have to understand that there are no elevators. Try to get a lower floor. Still it wasn't a major problem, we are 70 & 73 we handled it just fine.

Have stayed here before and love the romantic location right inside the ruined walls of Diocletian's Palace, the reason I come to Split in the first place. Busy time of year so had purpose-designed (ie small) single room but previously stayed in larger one. Rooms and corridors decorated with local artworks. With little prompting had an excellent breakfast with view of ruins.

No complaints. My room was small but perfectly serviceable and everything in good working order.

Hotel is realy very nice in old-fashion style. Location is perfect - my room was with the view of sv. Duje Cathedral. Breakfast was very filling. But most important - helpful and welcoming personnel:) Thanks for your hospitality - I will definitely come back;)
