The room is relatively small but cozy. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast consists of usual hotel food, but the dining room is warm and nice. Many non hotel guests (couples or families) visit the hotel for lunch which I really liked.

There is no hotel reserved parking so good luck finding a parking spot. Yes, you can park in the nearby side alleys or streets but when you carry luggage it might be a problem. We were lucky that both times we arrived at only parking lot, which was full, someone was leaving so we took that parking place.

Excellent breakfast. Usual hot and cold buffet with very good choice. Unusual was delicious fresh honeycomb. Location is handy for access to old town in 7 minutes walk. Surroundings are blocks of social housing most of which are run down but restoration was evident. However don't let this put you off. On street parking is tight but we found a space nearby. A special mention and top marks for the reception staff who were very helpful in arranging for the two mobile phone chargers we had left behind to be parcelled up and contacting a delivery company to forward successfully to our next hotel in Split.

This hotel deserves all the praises it can get and at least four star rating, because it is amazing in all its segments. Everything is spotless clean, interior is completely new and nicely designed. I would especially like to point out the following: 1. Hotel restaurant The restaurant offers amazing food at great prices. Everything on the menu is authentic dalmatian food, with lot of fish, risottos and pasta. All the dishes on the card are prepared with great technique and amazing flavours and textures. As if that wasnt enough, they make their own bread which is super soft and tasty! Congrats to the chef and I warmly recommand risotto with lamb. Just as a comparison, we wisited another restaurant in Zadar which has Michelin recommandation. The A'mare restaurant offers much much better food and overall experience. 2. Staff The staff is extremely professional and at disposition at all time. Waiters at the restaurant are very tentive not to keep guests waiting and they showed great effort to meet all of our needs or special requests. They are fast and keep the tables clean and desinfected all the time. 3. Housekeeping The room was super clean, every single detail in the room looked freshly cleaned, even the bin. Spotless clean! Every day we got new sheets and new towels. The room itself had all new furniture with huge cozy bed and mattress. Definitely great experience at hotel A'mare!

I recently stayed at A’mare Hotel in Zadar and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent—within easy walking distance to both the charming old town and the newer parts of the city, which made exploring really convenient. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay, which definitely added to the positive atmosphere. My room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable—great for resting after a long day of sightseeing.

There were a few small areas for improvement. I stayed in a Deluxe room and found the space a bit tight, especially when trying to move around with an open suitcase. It would also have been helpful to have a small fridge in the room, particularly given the 38-degree heat—just to keep some water cold. The waste bins were also on the smaller side. Additionally, I’m quite sensitive to scents, and I didn’t love that the room was sprayed with a noticeable fragrance upon arrival.

Just spent 1 night at L'Amare - really nice hotel, rooms/bathrooms not big but extremely comfortable, well designed & highly functional (lots of electrical sockets, ample hooks for hanging things). Good breakfast & exceptionally helpful, friendly & professional staff - in the short time we were there we had 3 different shifts at reception & they were all great!

There's no direct road access to the hotel (it's set back a bit from the road with concrete in front of it - there's a ramp or a few steps up to a path leading to the entrance). A bit off-putting on first arrival but really not an issue especially as the hotel was so nice

Lovely hotel with everything you need. The restaurant and bar area had a great vibe, and the rooms were spotless. Loved the fact there were plenty of mirrors and good lighting - which can be rare in a lot of hotel rooms! The water pressure was perfect, and we appreciated the option for both a detachable and rainfall shower option. The hairdryer was really good aswell with no annoying press-and-hold button. It’s the little details like these that made our stay genuinely enjoyable.

The area and buildings around the hotel isn’t the nicest, but the hotel itself is lovely.

The hotel is absolutely fantastic..it so deserves more than a 3 star...the location is 10 mins from the old town..ok the area around it isn't the best to look at but its so safe and easy going...our experience from start to finish in the hotel was 10 out of 10..staff were so helpful and friendly..the breakfast is five star...something for everyone...rooms are perfect..bed sooo comfy..spotlessly clean..all toiletries provided...we would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Zadar🥰

Only thing I'd like to add.. if there was a bottle of water in the room when one arrives ..but that would be my only little thing

The hotel was good and pretty clean. Staff was really helpful and always available for your help and needs. Breakfast was also nice and decent. The room was very clean and spacious. Really value for money.

Although it was fine overall but some room for improvements like continuous noise came from the washroom and A.C., no water bottles in the room except on check-in day, missing cattle and coffee or tea bags in the room, no refrigerator in the room, if possible more options in breakfast for vegetarians etc would be nice to update 😊

Clean, modern room. Dog friendly hotel (does charge extra for dogs though - 20 eur per night per pet). Beautiful restaurant area. Rather good location, cca 15 min walk to the old town center. Free parking in the street next to the hotel (could be hard to find free parking close by in main season though, we were visiting in February).

Breakfast was rather disappointing as it was not buffet style but by order only and without any menu available. At least the server could have been more helpful with what was offered for breakfast if there was no printed menu. Made us leave semi hungry. The food we managed to get was delicious and good quality though.

Smooth and friendly check-in and check-out, aswell as the communication with hotel prior to check-in. They even send us very helpful and great tios on where to park our car (3 min walking to hotel). Bed is really comfortable and spacious, room was clean. Breakfast is delicious, enough for everyone, staff constantly restocking it. One more coffee machine could be useful, it would reduce the waiting time and minor crowd in that area. Great coffee, lot of options for coffee, juice, milk, cereals. Actually, lot of options for everything which was great for us as we had a long day of Velebit mountain exploring ahead of us! Would definitely come back. P.S. Make sure to try Maraska sour cherry juice from the lobby fridge. It is local product with long tradition, one of the best in Croatia.
