Capo Bay Hotel is located in Fig Tree Bay, the most central point in Protaras, a small and luxurious town about 15 minutes’ drive from Ayia Napa. The hotel is elegant and peaceful, with exceptional staff who are entirely focused on the guest experience. They are friendly, available, and attentive to every question. The rooms are wonderful, with very well-maintained facilities. There are countless sun loungers positioned spaciously without feeling crowded. Service comes directly to your sun lounger with food and snacks throughout the day. The beach, located just a few steps away, does not belong to the hotel - meaning you should arrive early, before 9 AM, if you want to secure a sun lounger. There you can enjoy various water sports. On a half-board basis, you can enjoy a perfect breakfast and choose for dinner (or lunch) from one of the hotel’s restaurants - featuring local, Asian, Italian cuisine, plus two buffet evenings throughout the week. Within a short walking distance, everything is available - beaches, shops, entertainment, and restaurants. It’s a very safe area to walk around at any hour; even my teenage daughters felt comfortable walking around alone. An excellent choice for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Rooms a little aging, ours smelt of damp (could have been air con). Didn't realise spa facilities were free until last day. Probably should have checked, but would have been nice to be told on arrival. Just overall didn't feel like a 5 star hotel for the money. As for location, only restaurants are on the 'strip'... Lots of TV screens... Don't expect local authentic places with local atmosphere.

Beautiful location, hotel and grounds. Closeby lots of restaurants/pubs, beach walks. We stayed in May and there were plenty of sun lounges for everyone. Very close to the beach, we stayed in the grassy adult area most times and swam in the sea and pool. Amazing staff 10/10. Reception staff were always polite and helpful, special thank you for extending chekout so we could enjoy the hotel until it was time to leave. We loved the complimentary cocktail evening with canapes which was a special welcome in the beginning of the season, also the super friendly omelette chef and the experience of making cypriot coffee at breakfast which was also amazing. Would love to stay here again.

All good. Balcony was a bit small and would have liked cushions on the balcony chairs (deluxe rooms have bigger terraces and cushions)

Capo Bay was absolutely incredible - the staff, the location, the food all lived up to high expectations. Starting with the staff, they were so hospitable, kind and friendly - from the reception desk, to the breakfast crew, to the pool team, everybody was so helpful and with a smile on their face. The location is second to none, being a stone throw / on Fig Tree Beach was surreal and a treat. The food was what surprised us the most, Hotel food can be quite same-same / boring, but Capo Bay was up there with the best we've had. The catering team clearly take pride in sourcing quality ingredients and its cooking. Thanks a lot

The room was the only real surprise in terms of falling a little bit short. It was small and the bathroom door was floor length glass with no lock, which wasn't ideal for privacy + having a toddler disturbing at every opportunity! Nice big balcony though and wouldn't mind that room again. View was nice and was always kept clean.

The location is excellent – right on the best beach in Cyprus and in the center of Protaras, close to all shops, restaurants, and services. The staff were very polite and helpful throughout our stay.

On the downside, compared to last year, the price for bed and breakfast has increased by about 20%. Unfortunately, there have been no visible improvements in facilities, service, or food to justify this rise. At the current price, it does not feel like good value for money anymore. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, would also benefit from some renovation.

- Comfortable beds - Clean room - The receptionist with dark red hair (shoulder length) was lovely, she extended our check out from 11 to 2 PM free of charge - Proximity to the beach, cafes, etc - The sun bed area was well maintained (beautiful grass even though its peak heat)

- Receptionist Eleni needs to retire from her job. I had to drag answers out from her. She also seemed not happy to be doing what she does. - The bathrooms with glass walls provide no privacy at all, the sound insulation is non existent - We had half-board included and so opted for dinner at Kai which was the worst dinner in my entire life. The food was tasteless and disgusting to say the least. We then found out that for outside guests this dinner for two would cost 97€ and we were shocked. Kai’s staff was amazing in terms of service, but the food…oh my god. - This hotel feels more like 4 stars than 5, the rooms are pretty outdated, however I did see they had a part of the hotel renovated and the rooms on that side looked more fresh

We were 2 families, kids range from 6 to 16 years old. Everything was clean and nice. Staff was always approaching with a smile and fixing all our problems and wishes efficiently (Santosh was responsible for our room, thank you Santosh ☺️). Beach by the sea is public everywhere in Cyprus. Remember to wake up early if you want to secure sunbeds&parasol at the beach by the sea.

Food at the restaurant is good but more expensive than in other restaurants near by.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was convenient for the beach and bars , shops etc it you wanted it.

The room was short on usable storage and small balcony. We booked a sea view but the main view was of a car park although we could see the sea

The hotel is beautiful, and the location is amazing, right on the best beach, Fig Tree Bay. Close to local amenities but not directly on the strip, to the point it's too loud (I did have a sea view room though so maybe it's louder at the back). The beds were firm and comfortable, and the showers were great, lots of different settings and great pressure. The pool is amazing and the breakfast is fantastic. We travelled in April, so the season has only just begun, and we enjoyed the weather and the fact that nothing was too busy! It was also a more affordable time to go, and not excessively hot (mid twenties). Our sea view room had such a stunning view and was clean and well appointed with a large super king sized bed.

Nothing, it was a great hotel, friendly staff etc! If I was going to be extremely picky I'd say the gym could have a couple more machines, but you're on holiday...haha. 😆 have an ice cream instead.

Capo Bay is a wonderful place! The rooms were very clean and comfortable with everything you need. The hotel itself is a dream. Lots of loungers and umbrellas and you can pop down to the beach whenever you want. The adults only section is great as well. The drinks and food are delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I used the gym and was really surprised at how big it was and has almost everything you need. The big thing that stood out for us was the use of a complimentary room to shower in before we caught our flight. We had to check out but our flight wasn't until 9pm that evening so being able to freshen up before heading to the airport was the best thing ever!
