The room and bathroom were well appointed and spacious. The breakfast was in the cafe downstairs and was delicious; it included a choice of fancy egg plates, avocado toast or crepes, with coffee and juice. The people in the cafe were very friendly and helpful. They have a little room to keep your luggage if you arrive early and we were able to order our breakfast the day before so we could have it as soon as the cafe opens at 8:00 making it possible for us to have breakfast and leave on time for our early train. It is well located, close to the main square and within walking distance to the castle. If fitted very well with our reason to visit the city: modern architecture of the 1930s

The double bed has 2 twin mattresses… Who likes the crack in the middle??

The location was great, the room was decent, staff friendly, breakfast was good but I noticed that they had two different menus - one for guests who are staying overnight, another one for regular visitors of the cafe. The guests receive only a partial menu. It would have been nice to get the full menu, after all, how much can I eat? (One meal and one drink, that is all.) Had I known this, I would not have booked a stay with breakfast - especially since Brno has a great restaurant scene. You can find amazing food everywhere there!

TV did not work and they did not repair it while I was there... Even access to YouTube on the TV did not work, and this would not be important but it was rainy and not much to do so it would have been nice to have some entertainment.

+ Delicious breakfast. You can pick several items from Cafe Placzek's menu. + Cleanliness. We found it very clean. + Spacious room. + Very friendly staff, easy checkin and easy checkout. + Location. It's right in the heart of the city, with everything being within walking distance.

- No elevator. Might be quite challenging for some with mobility issues and/or with a bag. - Bad WiFi. We had to work for half a day, and it was almost impossible to do it on the apartment's wifi. Had to use tethering with our mobile phones. - TV wasn't working (at least the remote for the tuner). - Can be loud during the day. Squeaky floor, quite loud neighbouring doors, can get noisy outside as well (if room is street facing). - No AC. It was ok in May, but might get quite hot in the middle of the summer.

The location is great, right in the city center of Brno, close to the bus and train station as well as to the tramlines and buses. The staff was very friendly, on arrival as well as in the morning when we went down for breakfast. The room was nice with a small table and a mini fridge. The bathroom was much bigger than we expected. As the rooms are part of a cafe, breakfast is served in the cafe and it is done à la carte rather than a buffet. There are a few good options that we were able to try!

The building was very noisy. As soon as someone came back at night whether on our level or above, it would wake us up. And the mini fridge's fan as well as the bathroom fans were noisy.

It's clean and spotless!I absolutely appreciate that the room was smelling so good, fresh and the bathroom was clean. My room was spacious with a fridge, kettle, TV, wardrobe, table and chairs. There was a balcony as well. There was a good breakfast included with a great cafe latte! Location is the best it can get. Staff in the facility is absolutely nice, kind, helpful and welcoming!

The only thing I didn't like was the pillow. It's too hard and big. I would rather prefer 2 soft pillows that I can adjust it according to my preference. Thank you for the consideration.

Totally restructured and modernised boutique self-contained b & b, to a very high standard, and bang in the middle of old Brno. The rooms are above the cafe, which is where one has breakfast. The staff were all immediately welcoming and pleasant- very important feature! The rooms were impeccably clean, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom perfect. We went in December and the heating was wonderful. Breakfast in the cafe was a treat, (eggs Benedict etc) as was the service.

Very little. The pillows could have been bigger.

I have absolutely no complaints. The design of the room was chic and modern, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom clean and bright. It was really warm during our stay, but the fan in the room made the heat more bearable. The location is directly in the center, close to both the main squares and the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a highlight. The cafe has some of the best coffee in the city, and we enjoyed a wonderful espresso tonic in the afternoon. Really, a wonderful place to stay, a total pleasure.

It would be great if the breakfast started at 7:30 for guests who need to be at work or travel early. 8:00 is a bit too late for some people. Maybe put a sign in the shared bathroom (rooms 6 and 7) telling guests to keep the shared bathroom clean and hygienic; some adults need to be told explicitly I guess.

The place has a great location. The restaurant is good. I would even say delicious. Breakfast is ala carte and pretty good. In general, I can recommend the place because you can see that owner cares.

The hotel is like an additional place to the restaurant. Where the restaurant is prior. You can see that owners try to.., but it is not working fully. The room was absolutely different from what we have reserved and how it looked like in the foto. It was fine but very small. With the balcony with no way to reach it, only through the window.) The room was clean and cozy but no hot water in the shower, the door handles were falling apart. You need to open three doors with three different keys, and so on. The double bed is made from two single.

The staff were fantastic. My train into Brno was late, so they gave me easy instructions on how to go through the late check out. I then had an appointment in the morning which ran late, but having a slighly later breakfast was no problem. Had a good chat with them in the morning - super nice people. The breakfast was the best I've had in some time - amazing scrambled eggs and coffee (Capuccino made to my order). Breakfast is a la carte from a menu for guests. The breakfast is served in a cafe on the ground floor - given it's a cafe I guess it's no wonder the food is so good. My room had a shared bathroom and was fairly small, but cosy. It was everything I needed for one night. The bathroom was shred with two other rooms, but I'm not sure they were occupied. Anyway, the bathroom was spotless.

It was fairly hot in the room, though I got around this my opening the door to the small balcony. A double bed could probably fit - I had a single which I knew about (so I am not saying it was unexpected) - but perhaps a double would have been possible.
