Great location, friendly staff, clean, well equipped kitchen

The windows and the door could be more soundproof especially as our room overlooked a square with a pub

I had a pleasant stay at this property. The bedroom was a bit small and slightly cramped (private room), but it was clean and well-lit, which made it comfortable overall. The bed itself was cozy and provided a good night’s sleep. Cleanliness was well-maintained throughout the property. The common areas were tidy, the kitchen was fully functional and quite handy for longer stays, and the fridge was large enough to accommodate everyone’s items. The bathrooms and toilets were especially well-kept—they were cleaned multiple times a day, which was impressive and appreciated. The location is excellent and adds great value for the price. I’d definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

The location and price are perfect. You have everything you need for a short stay. It is relatively calm, cosy and clean, especially for a hostel. The interior design is modest but fun. The staff is kind. There is a historical ambience all around. Reasonable privacy. The heater is working well. The kitchen is well-equipped.

At times, there is a bit of disturbing noise from the street or neighbours in the hostel. Over-modestly furnished. Uncomfortable pillows (subjective). You balance opening the window next to your pillow to get fresh air inside and closing it again to prevent cold and city noise in a 6 sq m room.

I was accomodated in the part named Hostel Francin. That building has nice, new, clean and spacious rooms. There is a kitchen and fridge with freezer provided. Specifically there was bathroom in my room. I appreciate that coffee, towels, hand soap, and toilet paper were provided as well. I have been to this hostel many times. It's important to choose the right room and the building. The prices are the best in Brno as well as the location!

There was a problem with the wifi connection. But it's usually working 100%, so not a big deal.

The room and the whole place were exceptionally clean, everything looked new and bright. The bed was very comfortable and there was a kitchen with all the utensils you could ever need. The location is unbelievable - everything is only about 5 minutes away, whether it is a restaurant, bar or even the sights for sightseeing.

The showers were a little bit underwhelming, leaving water everywhere after you finished showering, but it was nothing one could not manage and put up with. Downstairs is a hall where celebrations are happening and right now there was a ball of some kind, so it was a little bit loud, but it wasn't too much and you could still fall asleep.

Clean, quiet (at nearby location, 11 Panska). Got upgraded from dorm to single. Kind reception. Actually didn't need the bed because I was out, but would have been a fine sleep. Pleasant and clean common area on top level. Good location with restaurants, etc. around.

Window view was a pretty nasty alley and roof between buildings but that's par for old town and I wasn't there for the view.

This time I stayed in room A bed 5 in other building. Which is located even closer to city center. It was quite queit given that it was on first floor above street. Room was decorated in medival style, but bathroom was still modern. Price was really good for Brno.

Stairs to room are quite high and there is not much space to ceiling so I had problems but I am quite tall. There was problem with toilet flushing, but I reported it to reception. Wifi was quite poor on my bed but it was OK in rest of the room.

Excellent location in the city center. The location in the center was amazing, it was very close to everywhere. The price was adequate. Pleasant service at the reception. I can recommend.

Noise from the street on a saturday night, but it's understandable because it's in the city center, it was hot and I had to have the window open because of the air flow. The other nights of my stay here were already quiet.

The position is great, the room was basic but very comfortable and the staff was helpful, they even let us store our luggage after check out until our train was due. Overall, a great stay!

There was nothing I didn't like, but if it's very hot outside the room can get a bit stuffy and if you sleep with the windows open you might hear people outside drinking and talking (albeit not loud), so maybe pack a couple of ear plugs just to be sure :)

Good location, well organized, quite clean.

Have seen nicer hotels for the price they charged. Yet not in Brno. Bed sheets were on, who knows if they were changed. No common facilities. Shower was broken. Free street parking nearby impossible, only in €€ parking houses.
