Friendly attentive staff. Very good breakfast buffet choice. Centrally located, less than 10 min walk to train station, ideal for train travellers. Cosy detailed old-style entrance area, not the bland style we see today in most hotels. As far as my room was concerned: Lovely incredible extremely large and stylish room in old building, almost antique / elegant style. Nice bathroom in perfect condition, also with bathtub!

Coffee/tea in the room was not free. But everything else was great, so I would definitely come back, as everything else was perfect.

More than worth the breakfast price! +Incredible price for the luxury you get. I could not believe we are getting this, especially on an Easter weekend!

I was fortunate to get a room upgrade to a large suite on the 1st floor. Lots of character in the decor, including unusual stained glass windows and some religious objects which gave the room an up-scale monastery feel. Very comfortable bed and quality bed linen and bath towels. Great location in the centre of the old town with an excellent local Czech beer restaurant "U Třech Čertů" directly opposite.

The suite faced onto an interior communal courtyard which made privacy difficult. In fact it was necessary to keep the curtains closed which made the suite quite dark. There was a very large bath tub but no shower which was not ideal. I was told by reception that only 2 rooms on the upper floors had shower stalls. Access to the hotel's location is restricted to local taxis. This means that Bolt oi Uber can only drop you off about 300 metres from the property. Considering the small streets are cobblestone, this makes wheeling luggage a real challenge. This issue with taxis should be explained to guests before they book one from the station. That said, the distance from the station to hotel is walkable - but only in the reverse direction going downhill.

Great location in the centre of Brno within a few minutes walk of reastaurants, shops, tram/bus stops, the cathedral and Spillberk. Comfortable, large, clean and characterful room with painted timber ceilings. Good breakfast with a good choice of cereals, cheeses, meats, fruit, cooked breakfast and cakes. Helpful, friendly staff. Whilst we had a room facing the street and slept with the window open, we were untroubled by noise. Our second time at the Royal Ricc and we'd have no hesitation in staying again.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely old building, with lots of period features. Lovely big comfortable room, the bath and shower were great as well, spacious with nice deep bath and good water pressure for washing long hair. Loved our stay here and would definitely come back! Didn't have breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on that. The location is fantastic as well, only about an 8 minute walk from the main train station, right round the corner from the main square, and everything else is super handy too, lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby but not noisy at all.

Fantastic breakfast. They have all the usual European breakfast food options -- pastries, meats, cheeses, yoghurt, but they also had a plate full of crêpes. Nice. The decor is gorgeous. The public areas as well as the private rooms are lavishly decorated with baroque-style flourishes. The hotel is mere steps from the Cabbage Market, one of the main cultural focal points in the city. The room had air conditioning. Lovely after a hot humid day!

The hotel had a cozy and pleasant atmosphere, with a very clean and comfortable room. The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable.

Was a bit surprised by the breakfast. The scrambled eggs had the texture of a stuck-together omelet, and the fresh fruits were covered with additional sweets, which seemed unnecessary. Overall, the presentation and selection felt outdated, reminiscent of a breakfast from the 90s.

We had a small room and bed but there was spacious storage available and an amazing big bathroom. We enjoyed the option to have a hot bath after walking through town in February weather. We also really enjoyed the breakfast.

The bed was too short for my partner, who is quite tall, but I understand a bigger bed wouldn't have fit into the room. Nevertheless, it was ok in terms of comfort so perfectly fine for 3 nights.

Lovely historic hotel with modern extension. We were in a rear room of the historic section on Floor 3. Lift service. room was comfortable with traditional features. Good bathroom, although it was difficult to avoid shower water getting beyond the bath and onto the floor. However, sufficient towels to mop up. Breakfast space and offers were very good. Location, fabulous in the old town, and only about 600 metres from the main railway station.

The breakfast buffet was plentiful with a good variety of items. Loved the charming painted ceilings and beams. The location is right in the old town and close the Christmas market and festivities. We had a very pleasant stay.

The directions given by the hotel did not take into account that the road was closed for the Christmas Market so we had a challenge finding our way to drop our bags before going to the car park. Otherwise we had no problems.
