The hotel is in a very good location, in the center of Brno and easily accessible from the train station by public transport. The room was small and had no view but it was nice and clean. The wifi connection was good and the room also had an electric kettle. The check-in and check-out processes were efficient and speedy. The breakfast was good. All in all, our stay was pleasant, I think it is a good hotel for the price and recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Brno on a budget.

The bathroom was not directly accessible from the room itself; rather, it was accessed through a corridor. This detail could be slightly misleading as it was initially described as a "private bathroom," although this was clarified later in an email after booking. The breakfast coffee was horrible.

We were traveling to Brno for 3 nights. The hotel is very nice, located in re innovated historical building. The staff was nice and helpful and breakfast was tasty. Complimentary water bottles, tea, coffee and clean cups were placed every day after room service. We were satisfied with our stay.

Our room was located in between the floors where elevator stops, so if you travel with heavy suitcase you still have like 8 stairs. Also the hotel is 9 floor building with one elevator so sometimes it takes time to get up\down, but it is a minor nuisances.

• it was nice to experience the great architecture of this heritage building. the original spaces are amazing, and as hotel guests we could visit and use them (for outsiders it comes as a museum, with an entry fee). • we liked the glass wall bathroom, the shower was very spacious - nevertheless i can imagine, that some people won't like the toilet being behind only a curtain...

• too soft bed • the room was so much overheated (with no possibility to control), that it was possible to sleep only with windows open (and unfortunately catching a bad cold in consequence...) • most of the furniture were replicas, the originality was not fully reached.

Very clean facilities, friendly personnel, English speaking, very good breakfast options

As mentioned in several reviews, the bathroom in queen rooms is awkward, even if you are travelling with a partner. There’s basically no separation between the room and the bathroom, so doing one’s needs may be awkward. No other complains though. The personnel was really friendly and professional, extremely well located place, and I really enjoyed the breakfast

Amazing atmosphere and architecture. The place has style and soul. Perfect location in the center and still no street sound. Very kind and lovely receptionist with smile always on the face. Very comfy bed. I have read negative comments about open bathroom, but I loved it and please don’t think about to chamge it!

As I stayed here during “trial” period, just some minor stuff appeared - a la carte scrumbled eggs was a too big portion, pate on the breakfast from Agrofert with low quality, missing any seats on the terrace, regular television on during breakfast (with a lot of commercials) and it decreased the atmosphere a lot

Cool design, great staff, owner and location. Terrace superb views of whole city. Great relaxing with a drink on an evening.

First room allocated had bathroom across the corridor, embarrassing at night crossing. Relocated but had to pay extra, but worth it, great room with own bathroom and great views.

Excellent location and interesting architecture. The room was spacious with a comfy bed. Because of the location, we were able to quickly drop some stuff in our room while exploring the city. The hotel also has a rooftop terrace where you can get a wonderful view over the city. The breakfast had lots of options and the service was excellent.

The property is beautiful and nicely recovered given the nature of the building. Our room was smallish but very comfortable. We went on a complimentary guided tour that was really fun and informative. Our room had access to a terrace which had a lovely view facing a nearby church.

The beds are on a softer side.

the staff is helpful, polite and available at any time; they are totally devoted to guests’ needs the breakfast was wonderful: best scrambled eggs ever! our room was very nice and comfortable. The location is indeed valuable; there’s a no-stop garage at 200m from the hotel (400 kc per die); the hotel is in the city center, quite, nice and safe

Basically everything was perfect, but just to say: the bathroom is not completely isolated, so if someone is using it, the light is spread all around the room, but if on vacation who cares?!?

Wow, what an unbelievably beautiful and special hotel in an extremely fun city. We loved everything about it and wished we would have booked two nights. The architecture is outstanding and so are the employees (especially the receptionist). Make sure to check out the in-house museum and also the rooftop-terrace during sunset. We would always choose this hotel again!
