Great location for a short stay in Aachen, close to the train station and, if you have the mobility to walk on your visit, is walkable to the main sights on an easy route. It would be a short taxi ride if you do not intend on walking. The hotel team were welcoming and the hotel was very clean. A good selection of hot and cold food at breakfast. The Lousberg parkrun is a c35-40 minute walk away. The perfect warm up walk if you plan on going there!

Room and hotel was at the standard I expect from every hotel in the Ibis chain. We did arrive very late after another hotel chain cancelled my booking for the same evening at very short notice. Hotel is relatively close to the main railway station, however on our visit several of the local roads were closed for major repairs with the diversion route being difficult to follow. If you are walking or taking a cab then there should be no issues. However be prepared if you are planning to drive yourself.

If you are arriving late and leaving early, then you may find a free car parking space on the road outside the hotel. Otherwise the hotel has a small paid car park - which can be accessed with reception opening the shutter to give you access.

An extremely clean and well located hotel, central Aachen and just 5 minutes walk to the train station. Surprisingly quiet considering it's very central location. Staff were helpful and breakfast plentiful and tasty.

Nothing really, you know this style of hotel is no frills and as such so long as you don't expect a whole host of additional services, gyms or spas it's perfect.

Perfect location not far from Hbf and the top attractions of Aachen. Quiet and peaceful place where we could sleep well (a good rest after almost sleepless nights in Ukraine).

As I travelled with my sister, I booked a twin room with 2 single beds. When we arrived, two beds were put together. We moved one bed from another as far a room size allowed, but a cleaning lady/man put them together again and again. Why?

Everything was very good. The room and bathroom were spotless, the bed comfortable and the breakfast exceptional. The hotel was very quiet and our room next to the lift was insulated from the corridor by a small lobby. The location, five minutes walk from the station and 10 minutes from the Dom, is brilliant. Thank you for a super stay.

The lack of a kettle and the strange placement of the toilet roll were two tiny things that scored 9.5 instead of 10

The rooms were clean, and the staff were helpful and kind. The hotel is centrally located, with everything within a short walking distance. It offers good value for the price and convenient parking.

The pillows weren’t very comfortable, and the duvet was a bit small for two people, but it wasn’t a big issue for a few nights.

clean and pleasant hotel. The rooms were average sized for an Ibis, no frills as expected but clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking at hotel for a charge. Walking distance into city. Not too much nearby though. Breakfast okay although the breakfast area not really large enough. The usual selection for continental. Have had better but adequate for the price. There was a bar which was good, manned most of the time when required. I would recommend seeing inside the Dom...breathtaking mozaic ceilings, architecture and ornate decoration. almost a Byzantine feel to it. Simply amazing. Lots of restaurants and bars around the city too. We visited 1st week of Christmas markets. Very busy but atmospheric.

The breakfast room too small for the number of customers so cramped and tables full. Only one coffee machine which caused congestion at busy times.

The hotel was clean and well presented. Close to the station.

The staff gemerally couldn't be bothered to speak (except for some breakfast ladies). Two paper-thin towels in the bathroom and toilet paper that could be used to sand wood. The overall feeling was that the hotel was open to make a profit, we're in a good location and you can like it or lump it.

We enjoyed our stay at the ibis hotel very much. Staff was very friendly, spoke english well, was flexible and always wanted to help. We came to the hotel earlier than our check-in time and still got the keys to a room. The parking is also great when you're traveling with a car. The hotel is close to the hotel centre (about a ten minute walk). The breakfast was good with lots of choices.

We had a room facing the busy road across the hotel. With the window closed you don't hear the road at all but if the window is open it can be a bit noisy.

The location, only a 5 minute walk from the station. The room has aircon that worked well in the heat while I was there. The breakfast is good. The hotel is clean.

There is only 1 lift for all the guests which is not enough, you may have to wait a long time to get on. The shower cubicle leaks (as most of them do, in my experience). Being a modern chain hotel it doesn't have any character, but what you get works well for a short stay.
