Breakfast was the best part of the stay at this hotel. The most well decked, delicious and healthy breakfast. The hotel has a historic old school feel but it is amazing and spacious. Love the surroundings as well. Classic old bar you can hang out and chat with the locals and visitors even late night. Love this location, getaway from cologne. Late night staff was also very nice.

Mechel, the night manager provided outstanding customer service, especially with booking trains (which DB cann make very confusing. He also assisted with dinner suggestions and dealing with an angry restaurant manager when a technical problem arose with payment. It is one of the top 5 customer service situations I’ve ever seen!

Clean and comfortable hotel about a 30 minute drive to Cologne, set in a very nice resort-style city. Very quiet area. Room clean, a, bit on the small side, basically one double bed (they do not have twins, so take this into consideration) one desk and one TV. Room cleaned daily, heat was working. Great breakfast everyday, better then the room. Everything in their lobby mini-shop was crazy expensive (think 6 euros for a bottle of water). Decent on-site bar and restaurant. All in all I would come back again.

Front desk a little bit 'cold', thou efficient. Meaning no response to 'hello' or any other interaction during our stay. When asked or engaged, they were courteous. Parking is either paying (hourly, city parking on the street) or you need to pay to the hotel for using their parking, 12 euros/day.

Clean room, and comfortable. Heating worked great. Location was nice, quiet place. Very good breakfast, they really prepared very well. Nice place for small friend gatherings in the lobby. Room serviced daily.

Hotel staff offered very little interaction, but not a big problem obviously, maybe just a cultural thing. The items for sale at reception were overpriced (think 6 euros for a small bottle of water). Room was rather on the small size - only work for two people if they are a couple. No twin bed rooms available. Hotel parking was paying - 12 euros per day. No complimentary drinking water in the room. It's the small things that make a difference...

The breakfast selection was great and the restaurant staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The rooms could be cleaner and the hot summer weather made the rooms very stuffy without proper AC.

Lovely sized room and comfy bed. Quiet floor on 5th. My fiancé and I had a really lovely time. Friendly staff.

Shampoo needed and when asked for some, I never got.

I liked everything, in particular the breakfast buffet which was included in the price. For 61€ per night, it was amazing value.

Perfect location as near the Lilo venue for our weekend bash!

No extras in room...kettle, tea, coffee, iron and board. All necessities but not included sadly. Two single beds were just moving apart every time!

The hotel is spatious and modern. Good wifi. It was very quiet at night, because the rooms are well isolated: no noise from neighbouring rooms or from outside. The room was clean. Breakfast was generous. Staff was very friendly and a defect in the bathroom was fixed immediately after reporting.

For people who plan to walk the Rheinsteig: it is a bit far from the starting point of the etappe.

Lovely breakfast offering with lots of choice. Very comfortable beds and good cleanliness. Bright bedroom with big windows too. Unfortunately I didnt have an opportunity to use the swimming and spa facilities.

Only thing I didn't like is the interior design/decor. This isn't a big problem for me! But it felt grey and empty in some places, particularly the corridors.
