From stepping in the scent diffuser gave off a fabulous smell. The room was a standard double, small but perfectly adequate for the two nights we were there. Staff were friendly & helpful (breakfast staff cheerful too) big shout out to Riccardo on reception who was extremely helpful. We arrived early, hoping to drop bags & head out. Our room was already available & we were able to settle in, refresh ourselves before heading out. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean & shower worked fine. Breakfast was excellent, you’d be hard pressed not to find something you liked. Location perfect for walking to some sites (Checkpoint Charlie a couple of minutes max). Ho-Ho bus stops at this location. We really enjoyed our short city break to Berlin & would recommend this hotel.

Very hard to find something but tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be a great addition as standard. Also usb sockets by the bed. No problem as we bought travel plugs but considering how people use mobile phones etc these days, that would be a nice touch.

The staff was very nice and accommodating, the decor is nice the hotel is generally clean. Nice atmosphere, quiet, very comfortable bed, the room size was good, the bathroom very nice. Could easily make it an exceptional hotel if they address The issues I didn't like.

The floor to floor carpet in the room is stained and the cleaning crew doesn't always vacuum it, we had to ask specifically. No phone in the room to contact reception, no kettle, the air condition is loud unless it's on the lowest setting. The shower glass door didn't close all the way, the bathroom mirror is far from the sink so you can't see well while shaving. Could do with an enlarging mirror.

The rooms were cozy enough. Beds were perfect. Bathroom was large and warm. But above all else, the location of this hotel is its main attraction. Just 1 minute walk to Checkpoint Charlie and 5-6 minutes walk to the subway. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars around. Parking was a bit tricky and the hotel's parking was full when we reached BUT the staffs redirected me to another parking spot which was approx 160 meters from the hotel and much cheaper than 21 Euros charged by the hotel. Overall, the experience was pretty good.

The breakfast spread was somewhat underwhelming and did not meet expectations, especially considering the price we paid.

The hotel is right near Checkpoint Charlie and a busy area, but is very quiet. Many museums and main sites are within walking distance. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Check-in and out were smooth. The metro was nearby so it was easy to get around the city. It was about an hour to the airport with one change. It was maybe 25 minutes from the train station with one change. Note at the main train station the tourist center was pretty hard to find, even the DB info places didn't know where it was or when it was open. We found on the ground floor. They were keen on selling the 72 hour public transport ticket, which worked well for us. Three zones, so it worked to the airport as well.

We didn't pay for extra breakfast as there were many reasonably priced places nearby and we were disappointed it wasn't included. It was nice to have a fridge in the room, but a kettle to make coffee or tea would have been really nice.

The staff were all very friendly and responded well to requests. The breakfast was enjoyed by all members of our party, from the OAP’s to the teenagers. The rooms were very well maintained and clean. The hotel was situated in prime position for our needs, right by the places of interest relation to the separation of East and West Berlin. It was also about a 30 minute walk to reach other main visitor attractions such as the Brandenburg Gate or the tv tower. Thank you to all the staff, but especially to Marcel.

The seating area in he hotel lobby could have been more comfortable for a group to sit and enjoy a drink. Apart from that, there was nothing that we did not like.

It's a great hotel that meets the stated price point. The service is at a fairly high level. My son and I were checking in. Wonderful staff, will answer any questions and requests, empathetic and understanding. The warm welcome will remain in my memory. The breakfast is great, delicious, everything is fresh, there is a large selection of breakfast options. Respect the cook and assistants. I booked a standard room. It's small, but it has everything you need. It's very clean, fresh bed, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, fresh air, excellent noise insulation. The hotel is a stone's throw from the architectural memorabilia, the subway station. We were fun with the car, and there was no problem with booking the parking space either. I pay my respects to the hotel team - they managed to make our short vacation incredibly comfortable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My family and I stay at the hotel and we were impressed by the great room and facilities . The hotel is central location very close to underground and other important sites. Everything is walkable distance. The breakfast was really good and the room very clean and quiet. The staff were all very professional and friendly but we would really like to thank Riccardo Very efficient professional and polite. He gave us lots of great advice and he has a spirit of observation and welcome us with little gestures of kindness. We wish Riccardo a great career in front office position… Thank you all

I often check the worst reviews of places before I stay just to see if what people say are true. To be honest I don’t know what the people who give 1/2 stars are complaining about. All the reception staff were fantastic , spoke English very well and were very helpful. The lady who checked me in couldn’t have been more helpful. She was giving me eating locations, shop locations, landmark locations and directions to public transport locations. Even tho I had previously checked all this it’s fantastic that she told me about the different things. She had a wonderful personality I went to my room and must admit I did inspect everywhere. And I must say, everywhere was spotless. Even if I was going to be super critical I couldn’t find anything to fault. The bed was made perfectly, the bathroom had 4 towels and a face/hand towel . 3 toilet rolls. Shower and hand soap, it’s very well stocked The mini fridge inside the room was perfect and cold enough to store food or drinks in. It’s perfect The air condition unit was easy to work and switching between hot and cold air was easy. Every time I came through the reception the staff would say good morning or good evening . I haven’t experienced that before at any places I’ve stayed. Something so basic can mean a lot. I had an issue with my key card on checkout day, straight away the member of staff on the desk sorted it out, no hassle. Even asked me how my days going. Even the house keepers would greet you and ask you how you’re doing , it’s basic but very nice Plus you’re 2 min walk away from checkpoint Charlie which is amazing I can quite happily say it’s one of the top 5 places I’ve stayed. And I’ve stayed in a lot of nice places in my life , this place was fantastic

Again if I was gonna be super super critical, a small amount of dust on the phone. Other than that, the place is fantastic

Great location - 100m or so from Checkpoint Charlie, less to the Asisi Panorama Berlin (brilliant!), U-Bahn 5mins, Potsdamer Platz 15 mins. Lovely room, excellent buffet breakfast, friendly reception staff. Highly recommend.

Only complaint is that my wife has a food allergy (sulphites) and the breakfast staff showed little interest. To be fair, it would also be one of our complaints for Berlin in general, restaurants having little information on food allergens - exceptions were Vapiano and Paulaner, both excellent.

Friendly staff, huge room, well equipped, clean and everything looked new. Right in front of the hotel there is a museum, there are good restaurants close by, as well as public transport. If you need a Taxi they just push a bottom and voilà, there will be a cab there in two minutes! I loved that!

I wish there was more towels and blankets as we were three in the room. But I am certain that if I had asked, they would have provided them. The staff was friendly and helpful.
