Hotel Romy, located across the street from the main exit from the Berlin Central Station (HBF), is perfect for getting around Berlin. The key sites, ie Reichstag & Brandenburg Gate, are a 15 minute walk. The tram, Underground entrance and Bus stop are within 50 meters. The hotel has a restaurant plus there is a variety of restaurants and food carts next door or within 200 meters. The modern hotel is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and amazingly quiet. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Staff help with online check-in computers. A swipe card is needed for any payments. Although I had prepaid, a city tax was added at check-in. The beds are very comfortable; the shower runs strong and hot. The fridge and Nespresso coffee maker create easy living. Everything is perfect. Will definitely stay here when I return to Berlin.

The hotel felt really modern and clean. Really nice aesthetic. But the best part was the location. Super convenient and beside a main train station with easy access to the airport and a U-bahn to get around the city.

Not an issue for me as I was travelling with my partner, but the shower is in the main bedroom and not private in the bathroom. So maybe not ideal if you’re visiting with a friend.

Really good hotel and great value for money - all of the staff were very friendly and seemed to mostly all speak English which was helpful for us, the room was very clean and had good amenities such as a fridge, large wardrobe with lots of space & a big mirror, there was also various different plugs around the room which is always a plus, I would definitely book to come back to this hotel! Also Alexandrina was very good and helped answer questions whilst adding the romantic package on! The location of this hotel is also very good as the Berlin central station is only a few minutes walking distance and there is plenty of other shops & food places around. I would 100% recommend this hotel and I will be back.

Everything in this hotel was perfect but the only small complaint would be that we stayed for 3 nights and we never got any room cleans during this despite purposely not leaving the sign out that says ‘skip this room’ - the lightening was also very dark in the room but not bad enough to be a problem!

Super convenient Location to all forms of public transportation. The AMANO hotels at the Berliner main train-station has become my go-to booking. While it hasn’t the bohemian spirit of a small hotel in one of the city’s many gentrified and/or historical bohemian neighbourhoods, one can easily jump on a tram to Mitte, or S/U-Bahn to anywhere within a kilometre or three in a matter of minutes. Culture creatures will love its location beside the Hamburger Bahnhof Gallery (akin to US East -Coast’s MASSMOCA). It also hosts a fantastic art bookstore and elegant restaurant. A little secret is the Edeka on the corner a few steps up invalidenstr. Where you can buy a cold drink / snack and walk down to the water’s edge at Humboldthafen, rest yourself on a bench or block of stone and just let the buzz of Berlin sink in.

The design in the room is very good also the free bottle of water and nicely filled mini bar. Also the shower products are very nice

Sink and Shower in the bedroom is weird. I travelled solo so not a problem but I wouldn't like than when travelling with someone else. A little privacy is nice!!

Location was good, right next to the main train station in Berlin, however very busy road on exit and quite a walk from main areas, not a lot around other than 2-3 restaurants. Room was really good other than the shower being part of the bedroom as opposed to the bathroom, so wouldn’t recommend going unless you’re extremely close and open with the other guest haha. Room was clean, decent size and lots of extras and amenities. Room had air on which was great. Was able to self check in and check out, which was so quick and easy. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel has a nice lobby and a beautiful entrance. The room was intimate and perfect for a couple. My wife and i celebrated New Years + our Wedding Anniversary. I asked the hotel to set up a something nice in the room for my wife and they did an amazing job! With cake, wine and rose petals!! Our room had a great view of the city and a seating area that would be great for a morning coffee. This hotel is literally right across the street from the Berlin Train Station which made it very easy to walk to and get to many locations throughout the city.

I have nothing to complain about

Central location next to the Hauptbahnhof. Fresh innovative design, harmonious color patterns of the room. Modern with some innovative ideas.

The room was very small. No chairs and no bed spread, no place to sit in the room other than in the middle of the bed linen. Although the room appeared to be frequently cleaned, a extensive amount of dust covering on everything, especially visible because of the dark glossy surfaces. Very little space for normal daily things, again, other than the bed. Very unprofessional behavior of the receptionist on the time of arrival, who especially and loudly shouted the booking price we paid across the lobby, other staff members were pleasant.
