The location was very convenient as many places were walkable and there were multiple metros that were close by. The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed. The staff was helpful in letting us store our luggage when we arrived early and accommodated our very early check out. While the price is a bit more than we usually would do, it was a great location and very comfortable stay!

The room service was very expensive for the quality of food we received. It would also be nice to allow check in right on time as we arrived very early and were eager to get into our room.

Very nice and comfortable room for three people, the beds were comfortable and the room clean, the bathroom was spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful and when we had an issue they solved it immediately. We could leave our luggage there after our check out and the general hotel facilities are very good. It is a little expensive but the location is the highlight. Bus 200 which goes around to most of the sites has a stop 2min from the hotel and we could walk to unter de linden.

The sofa bed is not the most comfortable and they could change the towels more frequently

The hotel is in an excellent location. You can basically walk to most major and interesting sights, and if you need to use public transport, the metro and bus stops are just a few meters from the hotel. The room was nice and quiet, with a very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast with a wide selection of food and drinks.

The bathroom wasn’t completely clean – there was hair on the floor. There was also a problem with the internet. I had a room facing the courtyard where the signal was very weak, so I had to connect to the Wi-Fi. The free Wi-Fi is enough for basic work on a phone or laptop. There is a TV in the room, but it isn’t a Smart TV, so if you want to watch a movie, you have to do it on your laptop and pay extra for faster Wi-Fi.

Nice sized room, good bathroom. Location was good, close to the sites. Everything was clean. Hotel staff were very friendly. Glad to have a solid door to the bathroom, when many hotels are moving to having glass or see through doors. Good shower. Soundproofing was good so barely heard traffic from the road.

The beds were hard, but I know some people love a hard bed. Lack of 2nd chair for two people in the room, with plenty of room for a second chair. There was a study chair but that isn't the same, if you want to sit at the coffee table together. The aircon wasn't that great, and room was a bit hot at night to sleep in. Only one towel when we arrived and no bathmat in the bathroom, had to order them to be delivered. Would be nice to have choice of pillows as I prefer feather ones. For a room with a hard floor slippers would be good to have in the room, again I had to order them. The wardrobe door didn't go across the whole wardrobe, only part of it, which was a bit strange as wasn't paying a budget price.

Nice and very spacious, good facilities, clean and comfortable. The room we booked had a small fridge which was useful, and a decent sized balcony. Good location, less than 25min walking distance to many attractions (checkpoint Charlie, gendarmenmarkt, museum island, Brandenburg gate to list a few), otherwise the underground station was a 2min walk away. The staff were friendly and welcoming plus very accomodating of children. When we arrived at our room they had included a sightseeing guide sheet for kids. At the check in counter the staff member gave our son an activity (once complete, redeem for a prize) and when she found out it was his birthday gave him a bag of treats.

Everything! Amazing hotel in a great location, everything is close by (as it can be in Berlin 😁). The breakfast is great, there is a great choice of food and beverage for everyone, bonus for the coffee machine which also makes grande sized beverages (I think the price of breakfast is 25 euros per person). The room was clean, nice sized, with two big windows overlooking the street (a bit noisy but it is like a main street so...), the bathroom is a bit small but functional, has toiletries and nice towels (maybe a little minus is that they didn't have slippers+robes), the bed was a little uncomfortable for my boyfriend, but for me it was fine, that's depending on preferences. The one thing, it was kind of dark in the evening, as the only light was in the halway of the room, and the room itself had one big standing lamp and those near the bed lamps, no ceiling light, so it was a bit dark. But the absolute best thing was the staff, they were all so kind and helpful. For every night you choose not to have your room cleaned (I think that's the principle), you get a coupon for drinks at the bar (you can choose between wine, beer, soft drink or hot drink I think). On our last day, at about 11 a.m. we wanted to use our remaining coupons before check out, but the bar was opening at 12 p.m. and we couldn't wait, but the nice gentleman told us we can sit in the lobby (very comfy btw!) and he brought us our drinks there! A great and thoughtful service! Also, upon checking out, we each got a small Haribo package, which is very nice. Would definitely come back, a very pleasant stay, and with reasonable prices.

Our stay at the NH Collection Berlin Mitte am Checkpoint Charlie was awesome. We were at a nice hotel with all the perks of being in a lively prime area with many restaurants, and just a couple of blocks from where history was written," Checkpoint Charlie!" The hotel is in great condition, and the rooms are very clean and spacious. Breakfast is great and includes Champagne on a daily basis. The only thing tarnishing its grandeur is the line at the front desk, only one employee for the long lines, and I witnessed that a couple of times. Everything else is great. It is a fantastic hotel with a pianist included. No doubt at all that if I were ever going back to Berlin, I'd consider staying there again.

Location and room facilities are great, you can iron your clothes exactly in the room. Breakfast is good (I don’t know why but 70% of breakfast is just different million types of bread)

- it took me 26 hours and three queries to get the second glass to drink water. Just a glass for water. - messages on booking are very unresponsive, and when they respond - usually it’s just a standard message and not what you ask. - parking is around 30€ per day and it can’t be reserved and it’s not clear is it available or not, and no one helps with that. It was easier to park somewhere else

We had a family suite with an outdoor balcony. It was spacious with a seating area and a bedroom. Balcony afforded a nice view of the area. Bed was very comfortable. Couch also converted to a bed. Room included a small refrigerator. Location was very central to everything. Hop On/Off bus location was a couple of blocks away. Checkpoint Charlie was about three blocks. Several good restaurants near by for breakfast and dinner. Very walkable location to most things if you dont mind walking 15 -20 minutes.

Bedroom area was large, but had no place to put your suitcase. The closet area was off the entry hall. Would have been nice if they added a bench in the bedroom area to place your suitcase. Also would be nice if they added a couple of hooks in the blank wall to hang items. Again, because the closet area was through the seating area near the entry hall. That said, it was a wonderful room. The lack of a bedroom location for a suitcase was only a minor inconvenience.

While in Berlin, NH Collection was for us, a colourful company of four females, our home away from home. We were welcomed in a warm and helpful manner by all the staff, though with a warning with a wink to not outdo the rowdy men from the weekend before. Not entirely sure if we managed, but we tried to keep the decibels of our shenanigans to a minimum. We also really appreciated the free candy on the reception counter, which was our breakfast or dinner for many times. Concerning the rooms, there aren’t really any complaints. Some got to enjoy the comfort of them more than others due to having to get down with the sickness, but we all had a marvelous time. The beds were outstanding, and the complementary coffee and water were utter life savers after diving into the dark and sweaty techno bunkers, returning home, looking like drowned stray cats, questioning the meaning of life. We also want to do a special shout-out to Frau Strauss, who helped us out amazingly, as well as the two lovely people working the graveyard shift on Sunday night, who had to deal with half of our company haunting the hotel hallways. This brings us to the first floor, which deserves an honourable mention, since all four of us made special memories there.
