Excellent location right next to the confluence of the rivers Rhine and Nahe. The beautiful walk along the river bank starts right there and the pedestrian area of Bingen can easily reached by foot. Parking in front of the hotel was very convenient and cost for that is reasonable (4 Euro for 24 hours). Staff was very welcoming and helpful. We didn’t include breakfast, so the price for the room was very reasonable considering the prime location.

Especially our bathroom was quite run down. The wash basin had scratches and the shower cubicle was difficult to get into as the doors didn’t glide smoothly and there was no handle to hold onto when getting in or out. The supplies of shower soap and shampoo hadn’t been refilled (which only became apparent when I was already in the shower…) The carpet in the room looked also worn out. I am sure it was clean but it looked worn out.

This hotel is a fading grand dame, still beautiful, but definitely aging and showing sags and wrinkles. Excellent location on the Rhine, directly on the cycling path and an easy walk into the town center. Indoor storage for bikes, and a large outdoor rack as well. Wonderful breakfast. No air conditioning, but there was a fan in the room.

There was a rock concert in the park adjacent to the hotel, so there was no sleep to be had until after the show was over. Obviously the hotel can't control that, but a knowing apology at check-out would have been nice, as would have having a room as far away from the noise as possible. Closing the windows didn't help much to abate the noise.

I love breakfast, delicious food! Cold water in the room and in the Hall way, that helps in such heat as above 30°C. Good and kind staff and on the reception and in the restoran, especially Thailand's lady. I love this hotel, we are second time here. It is romantic view on the terrasse.

Everything were nice accent no the cooling system in every room at the hotel. It was quite hot inside the room and the hall.

The location of the hotel is superb! Breakfast was good too. Staff very helpful to put our two rooms as close to each other as possible. Thank you!

The room did not have air conditioning which should not be a problem. However the two nights we were there were pretty hot. The rooms were small so the temperature was high. During the day, opening the balcony door easily solved the problem. At night, if we left the door open or ajar, the air was too chilly for us asleep. So it was difficult to get it right. At night, it was either too hot or a bit too cold.

The front desk staff were EXCELLENT,! They were very accommodating also very friendly .

We thought the restaurant staff could have done much better. They could have been friendlier, smiled and had faster food service. We were there for dinner at 19:00 on our arrival day , it was not busy in our opinion and the staff were unfriendly & slow to serve us. After this we ate at other restaurants in Bingen. We only ate breakfast once for the same reason. There was a young man who served who you should keep on staff…. The women should just find another job that would suit them better like working in a morgue!

With a location just across the train tracks from town, the views of the Rhein river from this hotel are amazing! We chose to upgrade our room to have a view of the river and the "mouse tower" across the banks. The staff was friendly and spoke English, and there is a walkway to connect you to the town. While there isn't much to see in Bingen, this hotel is great is you're passing through!

We did not have the breakfast, but it seems expensive at 19 euro/person.

The breakfast is one of the most complete I have ever experienced in terms of variety for the available space. Options included salad—with four different options of vinegar to choose from —soja milk, almond milk, gluten-free bread, and some other things for special needs or tastes. The hotel is well located beside the Rhein River, creating a romantic atmosphere. The staff's attention was superb.

Like most hotels in Europe, there was not air conditioning. However, this was the only hotel to provide a fan out of the 7 hotels we stayed in. There was (like every other hotel) smoking outside our window, so we couldn't enjoy fresh air.

The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. We hadn't warned that we were arriving on bicycles but we were shown where we could park them in an unsecure room (unused bar) in the hotel. Also with power for ebikes. Location is great, can walk straight out along the Rhine bank or into town, plenty of car parking and 5 mins walk to station.

No major problems. The room fridge was noisy. Our room looked west over the railway lines - so was a bit noisy with the window open.

We are bike packers from Australia and the hotel allowed us to keep our bicycles safely locked in their closed events room. The hotel room was comfortable with an openable window for fresh air. Only a short walk along the river promenade to nice restaurants as the onsite restaurant was closed being a Sunday night.

A little noisy from the train line directly below but that’s just due to the central location.
