The quality and the size of the room is excellent for a budget hotel. Did not experience any issues and trouble with the facilities and staff at all. We did a self-checkout as we have a super early train and hotel just sent a confirmation email. It is near Barclays Arena (but it is not near the city center or top tourist spots).

These are just minor things. The shower/shampoo dispenser is empty. Hotel is not near any train station (needs medium walk) but it is near a bus station. As an asian, I should have known that the toilet and shower are not exactly next to each other. The toilet has no open water access. It's not much of a big deal but if it's important to you then..

Very clean and the bed was comfortable. Decent sized room with table, chair and tv. The shower was roomy with places to put your toiletries. The staff were very polite and helpful. I needed to find a supermarket and the staff member shown me where to find it on a map. In fact I stayed here for 6 days instead of 3. I was visiting for a family occassion and booked to stay the 3 nights before it. I was going to stay somewhere else for 3 nights after the occassion but changed my mind and went back to the Ibis.

The only thing that bothered me was that there was some building works going on during the day, started between 7.30 and 8am. Didn't hear it every morning just a couple of times.

Value for your money is equal. Cheap hotel with shower in the same room so it might leak, warm water not ALWAYS available. Basically made to have a place to sleep over for the night.

Rooms have been cleaned every day, overall rooms are what you pay for, bed is comfortable enough to not wake up with a sore back. Overall I enjoyed my 26 night stay there.

Out of my 26 nights I only had once a rowdy neigbhour hood stay on my level, they kept me a little longer awake till they all settled for the night.

Very nice staff, who helped us when we had questions. The rooms were clean, comfortable and you had a lot of privacy. It was no issue if you arrived late. In general, a very good room for a small price.

Honestly the overall experience was really nice, so I don't have a lot of complaints. I only think the use of the parking spots was a bit confusing, because it wasn't clear whether you had to pay extra to use those spots and all of the signs were in German with a menacing image of a car being towed away. However, this is a very minor complaint and the staff helped us a lot in this regard.

Lobby is spacious and modern with good natural light. Good place to work on laptop. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size with nice natural light and was on the side facing AWAY from the main street, which is quite busy. Relaxed checkout time of 12 pm, and the staff let my boyfriend store his luggage for the day, after checking out. Short walk to bus stops, Rewe and Elmsbutte (cute area with cafes and shops).

No carpet in room. No fridge or kettle in room. An ice machine in the building would be nice. No separate bathroom in our room (shower stall and sink are directly in the room, toilet in separate little room) but you can get used to it. Room was warm even though air conditioning was on. Location is so-so… about a 10-15 minute walk to nearest subway.

Quiet location but perhaps a little too far from public transport and the center. The room is a little too small for two, but for two/three nights it's fine.

It's a clean hotel with friendly staff and it's cheap. The hotel has parking spaces on the -2 underground level and it costs 5 Euros per day to park there. That was very convenient for us. The breakfast is good. In the lobby they have vending machines with hot and cold bevarages, snacks and other. I liked that. What I loved the most was that the hotel was booked almost entirely by people who came for the Metallica concerts at Volkparkstadion (just like ourselves). It was a very good metal weekend🤘 Thanks for having us.

The staff was helpful and friendly and offered me free breakfast in compensation that my partner in room canceled, which is not their fault yet they were very generous.

Didn’t like that the sink is within the room itself yet I could manage being alone in my room. The location of the hotel is a bit far from center and Altona and not all busses easily can reach it especially if u were late at night.
