The room exceeds my expectation, it's even better than the pictures. I guess the hotel was rebuilt and redesigned as a hotel inside. They keep all the old interior as much as possible as I can see. The design and the colour tone of the room make me feel very calm and quiet. The combination of dark grey with solid wood furniture is so comfy. And what i see is the good quality of products in the room. My room was facing the backyard, I can hear light birds singing in the morning. I observed that in order to keep the old window frames, they put a mechanism to automate the arm of the frame. I can see that the interior designer had thought through about the whole thing. I specially requested a water kettle in the room and they didn't forget about it - which is good. Please keep the quality and standards.

The room was small but comfy. The staff was nice, however, the cleaning lady did not understand simple English. The best thing of this hotel - parking for free in a safe territory.

It was a pitty that breakfast was not included in the price. No refrigerator in the room. Also, I am not sure if there would be a good ventilation/conditioner during hot weather. While we stayed there no hot weather for us.

Good rooms. Had a single room, small but comfortable, good bed and wifi worked like charm. Had a room facing the street with a view off the huge trees on the boulevard. Location is great, nice neighborhood, close to park, Ubahn station and restaurants/cafés. Staff was was very friendly and helpful, spoke english too. Breakfast area is nice, facing the street/trees, nice dimmed lighting. Nice outside area beside the steps when the weather is nice it's a good spot to chill.

Breakfast could have a been a bit more on offer a broader selection.

Such a warm welcome from the lovely staff here and a cosy and comfortable stay. We love the neighbourhood - being away from the city centre but an easy 15min trip by bus / uBanh to get into town. Unbelievable check out times are on offer too from 7-12 with an easy check in/out system in place.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

It Is a few stops outside of the city center via train but in a gorgeous area with lots to see and loads of great places to eat etc. the staff are amazing, especially the main lady, maybe the owner, as reception. she was so kind. the room was really lovely, great bed and furnishing. breakfast was simple but nice. Netflix was a great.

our room wasn’t cleaned over the three days, once my husband was in the room so said he would leave so they could come back but they didn’t come back. not a dislike but would be good to come back and check.

The room was very clean, I loved the modern and cosy design! The shower was very good.

I know it's right for most of Hamburg, but the weather is hot and the lack of air conditioning makes it hard to sleep :/ but- they did mention it in their page on booking and luckily the weather got nicer at night, so overall it was a nice sleep

It’s a wonderful place. One of the best in my life experience.

The woman on reception didn’t speak English almost at all, what really surprised me. I understand it when it’s small village, but not when it’s Hamburg. She also asked us to pay tourist fee, but when I checked my invoice from Booking, it was already paid. But anyway she was nice and sweet.

Staff from MAZZA restaurant/ part of the complex smoke I front of the building at the top of the steps. This smoke drifts up into the hotel windows and into the room It was a hot day/evening so I did not want to close the windows. One can hear the traffic from the main Bundesallee from a front hotel room with windows open. Shower in the bathroom so powerful it wet the floor outside of the shower cubicle every time

The room is very modern with a GREAT shower and windows that can be opened at night for fresh air. A small room but cleverly arranged, lots of closet space and CHOCOLATE as a gift on the pillows! :) The beds were very comfortable and I had a great sleep EXCEPT... (see below) :)

This critique is not specifically aimed at YOHO but a lot of hotels are using synthetic mattress protectors these days and I tend to wake up covered in sweat! I realize it's a hygienic move but can be uncomfortable.

Very friendly staff. Bedroom neat and clean. Great shower, that actually keeps the water from the rest of the bathroom (which is unexpectedly rare in my experience). Nice quiet area, slightly away from downtown, but well connected by subway.

Blanket was on the short side for my length (1,85 m). Breakfast is not very substantial (but also not very expensive at 7,50 pp), and there are several excellent breakfast café's on nearby Weidenallee.
