I like the location, nice design hotel - and breakfast is wonderful, although the breakfast is really too expensive. (€25)The hotel is very comfortable, beds good nice size rooms and great decor. I also liked the free minibar offer.

This Novotel is very comfortable, however, I find the rooms a bit ''cheap'' - meaning, towels are really not very nice, the shower head broke and had to be fixed (although they fixed it very quickly, which I appreciated!) And I've stayed in the hotel twice in the last few months, and both times I had trouble charging my devices. Once I complained, it worked better, I don't really understand what the issue was - but it is weird. It's like they have extremely low voltage going to the plugs in the rooms. It's comfortable, but I find the hotel kind of the a similar quality to the Motel One, but the Motel One is better value for the money. Novotel's breakfast is much better than Motel One, but I think more than double the price.

The hotel seems to be brand new. Everything is clean. Loved that the room has no carpet. Free mini bar. Apples, tee and candy free at the lobby.

the pillows are too flat. Despite sleeping on two it felt like sleeping on no pillow at all. The aircon is also used for heating. This was not se great as the humidity in the room dried out. It is also very loud. But when you turn it off the room is very cold (during the winter time). Maybe it would have been better to have floor heating or standard radiator.

Location and stafff.

Payment procedure has some glitch, one of our colleague had problems as his money was blocked in excess by hotel but not detucted during arrival. During check out money was demanded by hotel again to clear 13 days bill saying that money blocked is released in your VISA card account. As money was neither with hotel nor with card holder it took two hours to arrange the money ,one train to Frankfurt was missed by our team. Once paid it's hotel responsibility to ensure that amount is not released back to payee. Thx

Obviously renovated, the hotel looked brand new, not only the common areas but the room too. The bathroom is really nice, comfy chair in the good-size room next to the bed and comfy bed as well. Parking available. Very good breakfast options and bar just next to the reception area. The room was SPOTLESS clean and the staff at the check in very easy going and friendly. Less than 10min walking from the city's main station, easy to walk if you do not carry large luggage.

The pillows are the only thing I'd mention here, it was too soft and not offering any neck/head support unfortunately.

Location 700m walking distance from city center, parking garage (€20,- per day), modern rooms, nice bathroom with Rituals products, very extensive good breakfast (except for poor tasting coffee), good free wifi, friendly staff.

The room is supposed to have two chairs, but we only had one (room 130). It’s primarily a business hotel, bit cold atmosphere in hallways and restaurant. Hotel can use some colors and plants. My bed was too hard, with a soft pillow and no other pillows to use. Haven’t slept well (but for one night ok).

I loved that the rooms are already renovated! (please update photos on booking.com so people see how great is the new design!) Staff was very understanding and patient while I was choosing the room that I like most. They also were ready to provide more coffee (I was at Executive queen room with minibar and coffee machine included) The room was really quiet and I loved the design, bathroom, furniture and how soft were the blankets. Breakfast was also amazing in choice and quality of food offered! Thank you very much it was an amazing stay for me.

Executive rooms are all on 5th floor and they all have green wall. I liked the design with grey wall as in rooms on 4th floor (Standard) more - but I couldn't move there including the coffee machine (as it's only for Executive rooms). That was a bit sad but I chose to stay anyway in my Executive room with green wall and it was fine after all ;) Free Wifi was quite slow, not like in other hotels I stopped in.

Great new room that looks like the plastic just got removed from everything, the room was spotless en looks brand new. Our room was really luxurious and the bed was extremely comfortable, also a nice big shower and some nice chairs to sit in.

One minor point was that we looked out onto a construction site, but it didn’t bother us (no loud noise or anything).

For city travel I often book Novotel as I have never been disappointed in the last 20+ years. The same here. Hotel room newly renovated and very nicely done. Breakfast very good standard for Novotel chain, while I have seen better as well. Employees very friendly and attentive, also standard for Novotel. In summary I can highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is very close to a metro station (estimate 100m from Hotel entrance) with only 2 stops to city center. So that access to the city center or any other part is really easy from here.

If at all I would have something negative to say it would be about the restaurant, which in my opinion was behind Novotel standards I experienced in other hotels, including service. But this is complaining at high level, do not understand that the restaurant was bad or even "only" not good, just not as good as I am used in this hotel chain.

3 stops from Karlsruhe Central station and just a short walk across from the Kongresszentrum station, which had lifts so luggage wasn’t a problem. Also a short walk (or train ride) away to the centre of town (where the Christmas markets were located). Clean and attentive and friendly staff.

When you stay there why do you have to pay for the car parking, it should be including ton the price. We do not found enough shelf, cupboard to put the clouds.
