I had a great stay at this hotel! The location was perfect — close to everything I needed. What really made the difference, though, was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome and addressed all my concerns to solve the problem, and that’s the main reason I’ll definitely come back! The room itself wasn’t very modern and could use some renovations, but for the price, it was good value overall.

In the room I spent my first night was a smell from the restaurant below, however, after my complain, the hotel reception changed it.

Not a "boutique" hotel. The lift is tiny! You can only fit 2 in at once (without any luggage). The luggage room is NOT locked or manned & could quite easily be accessed by other guests or even non-residents, should you choose to leave anything! On our departure day we carried our luggage around with us all day, as we didn't feel safe/confident or happy leaving it there!

Lovely, quiet room (Room 223) which overlooked a beautiful church. It wasn't facing the main street, which was perfect for ensuring a peaceful stay and a good night's sleep. A central location..literally across the road from Köln Dom. The breakfast was amazing - so much choice... hot and cold food. Cereals, cold meats, salad, fresh fruit, and an amazing selections of breads, crpissants and fruit juices. Staff so kond - let me check in 2 hours early. Also let me charge my phone after I had checked out My room was spotlessly clean. Really comfortable and everything worked perfectly. I would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel is excellent—very convenient and well-connected. My room was completely clean, spacious, and had all the essential items one might need during a trip. The bathroom was also clean and well-equipped.

However, the cleanliness of the hotel’s public areas could have been better. It felt like the staff might have been overworked or understaffed, as they didn’t come across as particularly friendly or welcoming. There was breakfast available at the hotel, but I didn’t try it, so I can’t comment on its quality.

The location was excellent, a stone's throw from the Dom and Hauptbanhof. The room was nice also, especially for the price - clean, with a nice shower/bathroom, and the bed was even and comfortable. The staff were exceptional. One lady at the front desk even lent me her phone to call various lost and found offices (I lost my wallet that weekend). Another staff member, Jan, was also super helpful and friendly, with good recommendations and pleasant conversation (very useful as I try to improve my German!)

It was so near the central station and the cathedral. The bedrooms are very clean. The staff were very nice especially Hussein, at the front desk/reception. We had to extend our stya for 3 more days due to the holidays and they accommodated us without giving us any problem and they let us use the same room we were in. We also asked for a quiet room and they gave it to us.

The elevator is too small, it was hard to fit our suitcases and us.

Extremely central location, five minute walk to the main train station, cathedral, museum ludwig. Rooms were perfect for one person. Would not recommend an extended stay, given the lack of fridge and other amenities, but for a night or two this place is a great choice.

Our stay was during a heatwave, and we absolutely felt the lack of airconditioning.

The front desk area and staircase smelt of cigarettes and we were travelling as a young family. The hotel could consider providing a baby cot for families.

We stayed on the 1st floor where everybody can see you if you don't pull the curtains on the windows and there isn't enough light in the room. Also, one of the windows is broken and the other one is half broken so you can't leave them opened if you're not in the room and there is no air conditioning.
