Great location…right next to station about 200 m Cozy, rooms, excellent bedding and sheets Very friendly staff

It was very near the station which was good as we stopped to break a long train journey. It was very clean. It had good space to store our bikes. It had everything needed in a basic hotel to meet a customer’s requirements. The staff were very helpful and were able to speak English which helped us.

It was fairly noisy at night due to the location

I was at the hotel during the UEFA EURO (soccer) finals (June 2024), so everyBODY was busy everyWHERE all over Cologne. This hotel satisfied my top 2 requirements: safety and cleanliness. The staff were more than friendly and accommodating. I did not eat the breakfast at the hotel, as there are several bakeries and restaurants in the area, and you are very close to the train station, which has a LOT of places to eat. I am more than satisfied with this hotel and would definitely stay here again. TIP: when you leave the train station to walk towards the hotel, you will immediately see a Wyndham hotel. This is NOT the Tryp by Wyndham. You will need to walk down the street to find this property.

No air conditioning, but I know that is common in Europe. They did provide a fan, so that helped a lot. And a couple of nights it was not hot, so the fan was not even needed.

Breakfast area was nice and plenty of stuff left to eat even if you are not an early bird : ) Nice helpful and friendly staff and right around the corner from the centre and train station but just off of the Main Street so it was still quiet enough when sleeping at night which was good. Nice big windows that open really wide and a nice bathroom with bath and shower and full wall mirror. Stored our bags after checkout so we could come back later when we were getting the train. The beds were ok to sleep on for the 2 nights we were there and a fan was also in the room. For location, facilities and breakfast I would rebook.

We wanted a good value, comfortable night by the station and that is precisely what we got. Comfortable bed, window opened for ventilation, quiet, good shower, 3 min walk to station.

Would have been lovely to have tea / coffee facility in our room.

Staff member who served us was really friendly and helpful. Upgraded our room as well so no complaints here. The room was comfortable and good size. The location was pretty central and accessible. 24 hour reception was a bonus especially for an early check out. Wish I was staying longer.

Reception was unattended at one point and took a long time to find someone to come down and assist. Online it says there is parking but there isn't. You have to park a block or 2 away and there is no discount for hotel guests, so you are just using a regular city parking garage.

Location very close to central station meant access to underground. local and long distance train services was perfect for us. Also, just a 10 minute walk to the old town and main city centre shopping area meant that there was also easy access to bars, restaurants and shops. Hotel staff were both courteous and helpful and our fifth floor double room was both spacious and comfortable. Room also had a safe for valuables and windows that opened which helped when the room got too warm as there was no air conditioning or fan in the room.

Very close to train station. Don't get it mixed up with the Wyndham Hotel which is more visible from the main exit of the train station. Friendly welcome, good elevator access to rooms. Fixtures and finishes were 'traditional' in feel rather than modern. Good wardrobe space, excellent workspace. Comfortable bed. Complimentary water. No iron or ironing board in the room but they are available on request. Work space was large. No refrigerator in the room, but again, no drama. WiFi was excellent. Shower was hot and powerful and there was a bath should that be a preference. Room was ideal for my requirements. There are lots of shops and concessions at the train station should you need anything in terms of food, drinks or snacks. this is a 2-minute walk from the station. Train to Dusseldorf is 25 minutes and you can access everywhere else easily on the excellent transport network.

Bathroom porcelain sink, toilet, bath and mirror were all perfect. The wall tiles in the bathroom could have been cleaner in my opinion.

Excellent location. It’s a few steps from Breslauer Platz and the Hbf, and in has a few Asian restaurants in front. The room was clean even if it was old, and the housekeeping was quite nice. I stayed in late Sept, and the fan at night was fine, not too hot if you open the window. The bathroom was clean as well.

The elevator was quite slow and sometimes didn’t open promptly. Their payment terminal didn’t read/accept any of my cards which took me quite some time when I was supposed to meet someone at the time; thankfully I was able to pay via the booking.com app which they accepted.
