Liked how big the room was, the safety we felt in the hotel and the location. Didn't hear any announcements coming from the train station as the rooms were sound proof! The room only had a radiator however we were provided with a fan which was powerful and kept the room clean. The bathroom was clean and the room was mostly clean as well. The reception area had drinks available for a small fee which were reasonable and there was a great choice. We will be staying here again and have recommended our friends to stay.

When we checked in we looked under the bed which still had plastic packets underneath from i assume the last guests. The towels were really thin and our glasses and water was never replaced. Only once when we had the do not disturb sign up were we asked if we needed anything due to us not wanting to have our room cleaned everyday during a 5 night stay (festival weekend needed sleep). Would have liked to have an ironing board and iron or one we could borrow and a kettle.

We stayed one night as we were travelling on in the early hours and needed a stopover near the station, we couldn’t have been any closer! The view from the window was the train station and Cathedral which was amazing and relatively quiet. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, even letting us know the best places to eat at! We packed a lot in and everything was a few minutes away, shops, Cathedral, hop on hop off bus, etc. The breakfast was lovely and there was a good selection for all. Would stay there again.

I liked the property and have no issues.

We stayed for two nights and we were absolutely delighted when we were offered the corner room, which has on one side the little view of the river and on the other was the breathtaking-majestic Köln Cathedral. The hotel is right next to the train station, which has a lot of bakeries, cafes and supermarkets to buy snacks, water and drinks to go while starting our journey. Also, the bus stop is right below the hotel which gave us a lot of freedom in moving around the city. The hotel is clean and tidy, and amazingly the housekeeping happened on both the days which we liked. Beds were comfortable and the room was of ample size. The washroom was clean too! Though the hotel is just close to the bus stop and just next to the railway station, one must expect a bit of noise. But for us, the view made us forget it all!

Located right opposite the railway station, convenient for the Dom, the Rhine and the Philharmonie. Friendly and professional staff. I had a single room which was quite spacious with a wide and very comfortable single bed and an excellent bathroom. The room was super clean and very pleasantly decorated, with modern furniture and fittings, good thick curtains, effective double glazing. Altogether a very satisfying experience, although I did not stay for breakfast so cannot comment on that.

Tea making facilities would have been good.

I had to book this hotel as my train had broken down & I missed my connection at Cologne. To be honest I wasn't expecting much, I wanted to be close to Hbf. It's about as close as you can get without being in the Hbf. Doesn't look much from outside being above the bus station & reception needing a refresh, but after that everything was spot on. Room was spotless, comfortable, quiet & well appointed. Superb breakfast with plenty of hot & cold options. And to cap it all, great VFM.

Nothing really, doesn't look great from 1st appearance, not sure how safe area around hotel would be late at night, but when I was outside, plent of police about.

Property in a great location next to the station and cathedral. A short one night stop was the purpose of my trip so ideal. Although I didn’t use there is a gym and sauna according to the signs up in the hotel. I had a good nights sleep, bathroom was nice. AC unit in the room, and I presume sound proof windows as once shut I didn’t hear anything from outside.

Pillows were a little too soft for my liking, but generally a nice stay.

Perfect location for anyone coming to see the main tourist attractions and in sight of the train station, lovely and comfortable for a reasonable price.

Only downside would be the lack of a hairdryer, iron and air conditioning unit or fan, something to look out for in the summer.

Clean, modern and well presented rooms. Comfy bed. Great location. Good value for money. Easy check in and out. Friendly helpful staff and English speaking. View of the cathedral was nice. Super easy to find from the main train station. Perfect for what we needed.

The pillows were very flat and only had one each with no extras in the room so had to ask at reception for extras and they gave us one extra but that one was better than the other two put together as it was a different type and much better so would be better having that kind in the room to start with. No kettle/coffee making facilities in the room. No air conditioning and it was very warm when we stayed so would have been nice to have but the big wide opening windows did an okay job.

The hotel is right next to the central train station which makes access to public transport and 24/7 grocery stores very easy. The hotel room also offered one of the best showers I've had in Cologne.

While the closeness to the train station is a big plus, it can also be too noisy at times. While it didn't bother me much, it might be a negative aspect for some.

The hotel's location is simply amazing. I arrived by train through the central station, crossed the street and was already checking in. The Staff is kind and attentive. The room is great, clean and quiet. The bed is comfortable and the shower was good. My room was small, but I was the one who opted for a single room as I was traveling alone. The breakfast is excellent and varied, and I was able to enjoy it sitting at a table overlooking the Cathedral of Colonia. By the way, you can access all of the city's main tourist attractions and good restaurants within walking distance, as the hotel is right in the middle of it all. I had to leave my things after checkout to take a walk around the city before leaving and everything was done very securely, with a dedicated luggage room. Will definitely stay here again when back in town.

The only thing I missed was a coffee machine in the hallway.
