We stayed for two nights and we were absolutely delighted when we were offered the corner room, which has on one side the little view of the river and on the other was the breathtaking-majestic Köln Cathedral. The hotel is right next to the train station, which has a lot of bakeries, cafes and supermarkets to buy snacks, water and drinks to go while starting our journey. Also, the bus stop is right below the hotel which gave us a lot of freedom in moving around the city. The hotel is clean and tidy, and amazingly the housekeeping happened on both the days which we liked. Beds were comfortable and the room was of ample size. The washroom was clean too! Though the hotel is just close to the bus stop and just next to the railway station, one must expect a bit of noise. But for us, the view made us forget it all!

I had to book this hotel as my train had broken down & I missed my connection at Cologne. To be honest I wasn't expecting much, I wanted to be close to Hbf. It's about as close as you can get without being in the Hbf. Doesn't look much from outside being above the bus station & reception needing a refresh, but after that everything was spot on. Room was spotless, comfortable, quiet & well appointed. Superb breakfast with plenty of hot & cold options. And to cap it all, great VFM.

Nothing really, doesn't look great from 1st appearance, not sure how safe area around hotel would be late at night, but when I was outside, plent of police about.

The hotel's location is simply amazing. I arrived by train through the central station, crossed the street and was already checking in. The Staff is kind and attentive. The room is great, clean and quiet. The bed is comfortable and the shower was good. My room was small, but I was the one who opted for a single room as I was traveling alone. The breakfast is excellent and varied, and I was able to enjoy it sitting at a table overlooking the Cathedral of Colonia. By the way, you can access all of the city's main tourist attractions and good restaurants within walking distance, as the hotel is right in the middle of it all. I had to leave my things after checkout to take a walk around the city before leaving and everything was done very securely, with a dedicated luggage room. Will definitely stay here again when back in town.

The only thing I missed was a coffee machine in the hallway.

We enjoyed the Hotel while visiting Cologne on the traditional 11.11 carnaval opening. For our purpose the hotel was perfectly located, just next to the train station, which offered food/coffee options till late at night and had a small supermarket. Our room had a nice view on the Kölner DOM & train station. Beds were comfortable. Indoor parking close to the hotel, 20€ a day.

We had nothing to complain even “the noise” of the train station as most reviewers complain, not been an issue for us, even though we had the window open during the night.

Property in a great location next to the station and cathedral. A short one night stop was the purpose of my trip so ideal. Although I didn’t use there is a gym and sauna according to the signs up in the hotel. I had a good nights sleep, bathroom was nice. AC unit in the room, and I presume sound proof windows as once shut I didn’t hear anything from outside.

Pillows were a little too soft for my liking, but generally a nice stay.

Clean, modern and well presented rooms. Comfy bed. Great location. Good value for money. Easy check in and out. Friendly helpful staff and English speaking. View of the cathedral was nice. Super easy to find from the main train station. Perfect for what we needed.

The pillows were very flat and only had one each with no extras in the room so had to ask at reception for extras and they gave us one extra but that one was better than the other two put together as it was a different type and much better so would be better having that kind in the room to start with. No kettle/coffee making facilities in the room. No air conditioning and it was very warm when we stayed so would have been nice to have but the big wide opening windows did an okay job.

Really handy location - can't miss it from the main train station. Buses to the airport also stop literally right outside the hotel, so arriving and leaving was seamless and hassle-free.

Could be a bit noisy with it being in such a central location, but it wasn't too bad considering. Perhaps a reminder notice at front desk for other guests to be quiet when returning to/leaving their rooms at night is in order though. It seems some don't have a concept of 'other people' when they're yelling to each other at 11pm.

Our experience at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! Especially the male receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself was wonderful, and the highlight was our room with a breathtaking view of the Cologne Cathedral. Everything was perfect from start to finish. we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. .

Location was great for the station, great restaurants and seeing the cathedral Breakfast was very nicely presented and all really fresh The beds and bathroom were very comfortable with plenty of plug sockets Reception staff were lovely and looked after me when I stayed most of the next day waiting for a late fight Really welcoming & friendly

Only minor points I would consider could do with some improvement - carpet on the stairways looks dated and stained in some areas and the towels could do with being better quality and bigger

Hotel is in a great location right next to the main train station and within east walking distance of the bars & restaurants, staff were very warm and welcoming.

This does not reflect all the rooms just the ones my group stayed in but they backed onto a small bus station and a view of the train station in which trains in cologne seem to run very late and start again very early so the noise could be a concern for some people but only in summer months as the hotel has no aircon and it was warm so had no choice but to sleep with the windows open
