The hotel was extremely well-located for our Interrailing trip around Europe, being less than a 10 minute walk from the station. It is in a quiet side street, a short stroll from The Rhine, the cathedral and other sights. There is also a nearby bakery and pizza takeaway. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and light and the beds were comfortable. There was a wardrobe, drawers, desk, chair, TV, a fan, hairdryer, safe, and sink with a mirror. We also received complimentary bottles of water and slippers. We were on the 3rd floor - didn't see a lift, but this wasn't a problem for us. The toilet/shower was shared with 5 other rooms but was always vacant when we required it, and always clean, with loo roll replenished. Whilst there was no kettle in the room, the man at reception boiled some water for me and put it in a pot for me to take to my room, with a glass. There were umbrellas to borrow in reception, which proved invaluable for a particularly showery day. All in all, a great budget-friendly hotel for a short stay.

Shared bathroom wasn't ideal - with shower being in the same space as the toilet, but it was clean and always free when needed. I prefer to have a kettle in the room but I was able to get hot water and a cup from reception.

I stayed here for just one night, and honestly, it was quite good! The shower and toilet aren’t in the room, and the hotel likely doesn’t have a lift to access the upper floors, but I was aware of this before arriving. The location is fantastic; just a 5-minute walk to Köln Hbf! The room itself includes a TV, sink, a lighted mirror, a full-body mirror, an extension cable, five different light sources, slippers, towels, and even a hair dryer. That said, the door to the room was incredibly thick, I’ve never seen doors like this before!

My room (Room 22) was right next to the bathroom, so I could hear the pipes when someone was showering or if my neighbor coughed. If you’re a light sleeper, this might not be the place for you.

everything was great all staff were super friendly and I felt really welcomed (I met the gentleman who checked me in, then another gentlemen eho opened the door for me during night time and the housekeeping lady who wishes me a nice travel when we walked pass eachother in the stairscase) super comfortable even the shared bathroom was super clean all the time great location near public transportation

the desk in the room was quite desty for my liking, maybe it was a spot which often get forgotten but not a big deal, I didnt use the desk anyways

Great location near the central station. Front desk was able to provide information on the Christmas markets that had just opened. Even though I didn't use the option it was nice that did have a paid breakfast option. I was however able to get hot water from the front desk anytime I needed it.

Booked with two twin beds and at check in had to ask specifically for two twin beds. No elevator and it was a 3rd floor walkup so not easily accessible. Very small shower.

The location is fantastic! Close to the Central Station and all facilities and turist points. The personal staff was very kind and welcoming. I got a room with the backyard visit and it was a delight. The breakfast had lots of diverse options, only missed more fresh fruits cut served at the buffet. But for 11€ it was very nice! Would come back and recommend!

Just would suggest better pillow and also a shared bathroom renewal, although it was cleaned and it had all the essentials. It's not like I missed anything, it just could enjoy more charm :)

- amazing location, just 5 minutes from the train station on foot - very friendly and helpful staff, I even could check in earlier - the softest towels I ever had in any hotel!!! just perfect - nice room with everything you need, big desk for work, I also liked that in my room the bed was in quite of a nook (protected from three sides) - top cleanliness!

- the bathroom, especially the part where the toilet is, is really narrow - there is no elevator, so with heavy luggage it can be tricky

The central train station is just across the road and it’s in a safe area. The bed is comfortable and staff are welcoming and polite. It’s very quiet at night.

The bathroom needs a body wash dispenser on the wall as the little tubes they give are not enough. The shower had no shower head holder so the water can run down and rinse without having to hold it all the time.

LOCATION! Perfect location! Straight out the station and about 4 minute walk. Located down a quiet street near the river with bakeries and shops all near by. Hotel is unique (for me) with the double door bedrooms and landing bathroom (rooms with en-suite are avalible) Staff were friendly, rooms were clean

MY bathroom was so small, half of me was I the hallways whilst brushing teeth but I am a big fella. I could barely fit in the shower cubicle and there's no way I could turn in the bathroom let alone dry myself It's not overly an issue for me as the hotel was just for sleeping and showering in so wasn't a big part of my day. My brothers bathroom worked fine for him so...

Good location in city. Room was good, although carpet showed wear. Bathroom was shared, but generally available and working. The breakfast was a good value , particularly if you are a big eater. Good variety of hot and cold food. You may have to request extra coffee, if you are used to refills.

I had to walk up 4 flights of stairs with luggage to get to my room. If I were to stay there in future, I would request a room on a lower floor.

The room was comfortable and in a great location and had a fan which was nice as it was during the summer. The room was cheap, however I was slightly impressed for the price. The standout for me were the staff. They were very nice, and catered to our needs well. We initially asked for two seperate beds in our twin room, which they were more than happy to cater for, and after we had checked out, while cleaning our room they found some belongings of ours. They shipped them to us with no fuss, which was really appreciated.
