Staff is legendary both in reception + spa. Amazing gym, amazing spa, amazing lobby bar. Great location. Very decent internet for a hotel. Will come back when in Cologne.

Nothing not to like but one suggestion to be even better: 1. Include 0.5L of sparkling and 0.5L of still water per room per night and include coffee/tea maker. Despite that, Savoy is still on par with 5* hotels and better then some of them. I know there is minibar but I always feel too stingy to use them. 2. Make better breakfast eggs - scrambled were so so. Maybe there is an option to order 2 simple sunny side eggs “a la carte” but i didnt see it.

Friendly team, pleasant atmosphere, beautiful hotel decorations, a quiet breakfast room, and a gorgeous window view during breakfast. As a suggestion, - It would be nice if the hotel had a signature scent.

I didn’t have a separate towel for my hair. The pillow was too big, too hard, and it was the only one provided. I also didn’t quite understand how I was charged. They took a deposit of €320 for two nights, but my total bill at the end was €279. The amount returned to my card was only $18.54 USD. I don’t really understand what I was charged additionally for. I will contact the property about this as well.

it is a very nice design hotel in a very good location, very easy access to coffees and restaurants only a few minutes away the people in reception very friendly and happy to give you guidance. Thank you for the sweet hospitality

think that the breakfast is on an expensive side and did not try 30 euro ! we booked a suite and expecting that there is cane to boil water or a coffee machine. really surprise that coffee, tea and some complimentary water was not a part of booking a suite, it is a first time that i experience this once you pay a big price then expect a few simple things to be included. the entry to toilet and to the shower very tide and can imagine if you are not the right size you might struggle to get in also we have asked for a bit of extension of check out of the room just an hour as we spent the night in the hospital and was clear they wanted to charge 40 euro for extra time. maybe should evaluate better

The new modern designer hotel is just amazing: Chic, classy and comfortable. The spa is amazing, and you fund 90 degrees and 60 degrees Sauna and also a steam room Tgd room is very comfortable, richly recorated, and very welcoming. Also, the lighting was so carefully studied.

The breakfast was a letdown for the money paid. I travel a lot, and I was looking forward to z nicd breakfast from such a top level hotel, but it was just like premier inn were one pays just €16!! not €30. Mariot Cologne remains the winner for breakfast; simply a unique experience. It's a shame as SAVOY promotes itself as a high dining experience.

The decor and ambience were wonderful. We had a surprise upgrade and had two rooms adjacent to one another - perfect for our family of 4. The beds were really comfy and the huge chaise longues was perfect for reclining after a long day sightseeing. Easy walking distance to the Christmas markets, cathedral, train station, restaurants etc. All in all a really nice classy hotel, let down by its breakfast.

Breakfast wasn't included and at €29pp was poor value for money. Limited buffet options - no hot meat items, not much fruit, inconsistent quality omelettes, ran out of croissants... For the price of the rooms it was disappointing that there were no tea or coffee making facilities, and no complimentary bottled water. The lighting in the room was a little complicated to figure out.

We had a wonderful stay overall! The hotel staff was absolutely lovely, ensuring we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit. We were delighted to be upgraded to a room with stunning panoramic views, which was a real treat. The room itself was fabulous—spacious, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable. The hotel’s bars and restaurants were gorgeous, offering a perfect blend of style and relaxation. As for the location, it was ideal for exploring—just an easy walk to the train station and the Christmas markets, which made our holiday experience even more magical.

The only two complaints were that there was no coffee provided in the room and that the surrounding area lacked character and didn’t feel entirely safe.

My room was a good size, the bed was comfortable there was an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower combined. I had breakfast at the hotel at an additional cost. It was quite expensive but the breakfast was good and there was a great choice of food available. There is a Bar at the hotel which is very good and the staff were extremely friendly. I received a warm welcome on arrival and staff were very keen to help answer all my questions. The hotel has Parking in its own garage at the site. There is additional charge for parking which can be arranged when you arrive The hotel is located close central station only a few minutes walk away and the city centre is also in walking distance, about 10 to 15 minutes.

The neighbourhood immediately surrounded the hotel is a mixed business, the international station, and a secondary shopping street. I didn’t feel comfortable walking around the area after sunset. I may have got the wrong impression. The decor is not my style, and there is a lot of thick carpet which is not my personal preference. It didn’t ruin my stay

Free room upgrade, thank you, very clean, not least the bedding, which meant so much, it had a great shower, nice and quiet area with no noisy families nearby, (we're a little older) and the room was lovely and warm on a cold December few days Reception staff were simply wonderful from start to finish, very friendly, helpful and engaging, bar staff in the evenings were also very attentive, thank you

Whilst the room upgrade was so appreciated, the room had no overhead main lights, and we couldn't see a thing, lighting was reliant upon a number of lamps dotted around, which didn't really help much. I would never use the "mini bar" however others might, but not this one, it was virtually empty? No staff around at Breakfast to advise you on how things work, just had to guess procedure

Amazing breakfast and a great rooftop bar. The rooms are very big and spacious. Everything in the hotel is nicely decorated.

It was a bit hot in the bar area but I think there might have been some maintenance work ongoing while we were there. But the AC in the room worked perfectly!

The staff made my experience truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming, friendly, and attentive to my needs. The front desk team went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I truly appreciate their dedication and professionalism. Thank you for making my stay memorable!
