The breakfast, and the opening times for the breakfast restaurant was excellent. The hotel was clean and comfortable and easy to find from the station. The location was quiet in terms of no discernible traffic noise etc. however within a 3 minute walk there were plenty of bars and restaurants to visit. We were on foot for our trip and at no time did we feel unsafe or uneasy on the streets around the hotel. Comfy bed and friendly staff on the reception and restaurant. Oh, and if Lime scooters are your thing, they can be parked across the road from the entrance.

We really loved the breakfast - great variety of food and sufficient time to enjoy it (it was available until 12:00 everyday)! 🥰 The stuff was very friendly and helpful. ✅️ The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The safety in the building is awesome - only checked guest (and stuff) can access the building because the elevator works by room card. The location of the hotel is perfect to easyly visit (by foot) everything Kőln has to offer, but also to have tranquility at night. Also, the hotel is placed in a good zone to find parking on the street - if not, the hotel offers parking (although - as expected - at a higher price). Overall, Hotel Santo exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it.

Breakfast was very good, lots of choice and good quality. locatie was perfect, only 10 minutes walk to the city center. Parking is available so your car isn't left to the elements outside, but felt a little pricey and a shame this isn't part of the hotel service (perhaps a discount agreement for guest would be nice) Cleaning service when staying a few days was very decent. also nice to have a little fridge in the room to store some essentials. A quiet and warm room.

minimal complaints but the water pressure in the room was a bit weak also room interior felt a little dated but wasn't bothering us.

Great location just a few minutes walk from the station. Local area has all sorts of bars and restaurants which saves you going into town which can be really busy. The real joy, however, is how fantastic the actual hotel is. The staff are professional, welcoming, efficient and friendly. We feel like valued visitors every time we are there. The breakfast , included in the price, is so varied and delicious. We will be back in Cologne later in the year and have already booked our stay.

My room felt really cosy, the bed was comfortable, good wifi, a good shower, a brightly lit mirror, good breakfast!

The room's lighting could have done with ability to light the room more (for when it's dark outside). With all lights on, during the evening, it felt a tad dim. When I checked in I really didn't like that the receptionist called me 'sir' upon arriving and then when I said that I don't want to be called that they didn't apologise, comment, or even look at me. Luckily it was just the once.

I stayed in a single room, it was quite good and clean. Good WiFi - had no troubles in video calls with colleagues. Location is great - less than 10 mins to the main station and near a large super market with everything you need. Friendly staff and good breakfasts. A separate perk is a coffee maker in the room - in fact, I chose the hotel based on that. It's important for me to have the ability to make tea and coffee in the evening without leaving the room.

The electrical socket in which the desk is plugged was not working, so had to use less convenient sockets for laptop and coffee machine. I stayed in a single room and it's really small. This wasn't a big problem, but I had to put the extra pillow on the table during the night. Overall, those are minor issues.

Breakfast was excellent - being extensive and catering for most tastes. Coffee wasn't quite the best but I am being a bit picky. Staff were very helpful and friendly - they sorted out a couple of issues and provided a kettle for our room. Location is a 15 min walk (along the river if you like) from the centre, but close to the buzzy Ebertplatz.

Very minor gripes - shower wasn't the most powerful but I guess that is all about water use. Hotel bar was more a stool in the corner of reception and not really a place to relax.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area about 10 minutes walk from the station and the cathedral. The room was a good size with a parquet floor, and large windows. The breakfast room was not too large, but the selection of hot and cold food was excellent. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. There are many bars and restaurants nearby and a supermarket.

This hotel is so close to the train station and centre of town that you walk it in 10mins at a slow pace. The reception area is bright and large as it doubles as the bar area too. Plenty of room in our room and the towels were lovely and soft. Bed was a little hard, but better than being too soft. Lots of nice choices at breakfast time and staff were very friendly. Idea parking for the car too. Would use this hotel if coming to Cologne again.
