The breakfast was a basic buffet... we had it tge first day we were there. But we found a bakery about 200m away.. so for the rest of our stay, we had breakfast there...(for a lot less cost). The location was perfect... 300M to the Dom cathedral and 200m to the main cologne railway station. We liked the "family run hotel" where they treat the guests as friends instead of just a room number. Will definitely recommend it to all my friends who visit Cologne.

We liked everything, especially the owner, Denis... he and his staff did a wonderful job making us relaxed and comfortable. There was no restaurant... but there are plenty within 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

The room was very comfortable and was more set up to actually receive two travelers and all their luggage than most other hotels we stayed at on our trip. It was clean and in a great location. The staff were very friendly! Great to have convenient parking you can reserve (for an extra cost).

I was a little nervous about our arrival with them not having staff on site all the time since we were traveling without cell coverage to call upon our arrival. But thankfully they were waiting for us when we got there!

There's a lot to like about Hotel Domblick. The location is walking distance from the Cologne Hbf train station and the Cologne Cathedral, as well as lots of great restaurants, the Rhine River, and basically everything you could want to see. The breakfast was good, but a little expensive for what it was. The room was comfortable and clean with a German-style bed (two twin beds with separate duvets next to each other). It was a bit warm during my visit, so having a window that fully opened and a fan in the room was nice. I booked a parking spot during my stay and the parking was convenient and reasonably priced. The hotel even had a little area to store a bicycle I rented, although it was outdoors.

There's almost nothing I didn't like. Air conditioning would have been nice, but it's not standard in this part of Germany and overall not necessary.

The location. Close to Cologne Hbf and there is a wonderful cafe two streets away from the hotel. Since the hotel is close to Cologne Hbf, it is also close to the Cologne Dome, the Ludwig Museum and numerous Christmas markets. Transportation is also not a problem. So the location of this hotel is excellent. This is a family run hotel. The room is small but enough if you are staying for two or three nights since you will be out exploring Cologne most of the time. The hot water system is also excellent.

Just put in a small kettle and 2 coffee cups. Need hot drinks in the morning or late evening especially in winter.

Very handy location to Cologne (Köln) Central HBF train station. Friendly welcome when we arrived by the man on reception who even helped with one of our bags down a few steps to the elevator 🛗, which we also were grateful for. Friendly service again later that evening and in the morning too when we were checking out. Twice we arrived to find them vacuuming the lobby area and keeping everything spotlessly clean. Our room was small with 2 twin beds, but perfect for my son & I on a one night stay. The room was quiet and clean, with a private bathroom ensuite, luggage storage area and some space to hang clothes.There was heating in both the bedroom and bathroom areas that we could adjust as needed and a window that opened to let in fresh air if we wanted. We also noticed a small fan provided in the room, however we didn't need it as our stay was in December and it was a pleasant 88 degrees Celsius outside. I would definitely stay again if I'm ever back in Cologne/ Köln 😊

There was really nothing. Our beds were a bit softer than others we'd slept in, but that's just a personal choice and we still slept well. I also love being able to make a tea or coffee in my room, but knew when booking, that there wouldn't be a kettle in our room. They do provide a breakfast for an extra fee, but we didn't try it so can't comment. We decided instead to enjoy dinner out and grabbed our coffees in the morning at the train station, when we checked out to travel to our next destination. The price to comfort ratio and location are ideal for travellers by train.

Spotlessly clean, friendly, genuine and helpful staff and very handy for railway station. Ideal as a functional, convenient stop-over hotel or for those looking for good affordable accommodation close to the station and cathedral.

The decoration style of the hotel and rooms is slightly dated although faultlessly clean, well maintained and functional as a handy stop-over location. The price was therefore a bit high, although on the night we stayed demand in Cologne was high which may have explained the price. The price listed for other less busy nights seemed fair for a more typical comparison.

The man on the front desk was friendly and very helpful. Inside, the facilities were so spotlessly clean, I might have been the first person to stay there. Good shower.

My room was right next to reception, so I could hear the person on the desk taking calls and people coming in through front door in the evening. This was ok for a one night stay and in a way we were glad to be on the ground floor after climbing the 533 steps of the cathedral tower! No kettle in the room, but breakfast is available if you want it.

Location was just few minutes walk from the railway station. Breakfast was not included in the price, and was available for extra fee, but was very good. The room was very clean. It was quite small, but that was expected, no problem actually, since we only slept there. Bathroom was also very small, but everything worked fine.

No bidet shower, which seems to be a German standard (unfortunately), but at least the hose from the shower was long enough instead. The beds could have been better, the mattress was making some noise.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and its location was perfect—close to major attractions and well-connected to public transportation. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

There is nothing I didn’t like.

The location is great, 5 minutes to the train station, 8 minutes to the cathedral. The room was small but very comfortable, perfect for three nights. Denis was very welcoming and allowed us to check in early because the room was ready. The price was very good, less than I’d expect for such a good location. Breakfast cost extra, but good value.
