I liked the location as it was very near the Cologne Station..just a 3 minute walk and you're there The room haf an asian decor vibe. They don't have elevator, this isn't a problem since I had been informed about it beforehand. If you don't like climbing stairs, this hotel is def not for you. Bed is nice, but only have have those huge piilows for sofas...i think. No proper standard sized pillows. But its ok... There's a Turkish restaurant beside it named Istanbul Restaurant. Very good. There's a nearby Brauhause Gaffel Brauhaus also very good. Bathroom is nice too. Just the right size. The person behind the counter, maybe the owner or something, was very nice and friendly. Great location, close to HBF & easy walking distance to everything, the cathedral literally round the corner. Friendly staff. Comfortable sized room, space to unpack and move around, I also liked the subtle quirky Sahara theme. Definitely one of the best hot showers with perfect water pressure. Good soundproofing from inside & out. Next time I get the chance to visit Köln, I'm not even going to bother looking anywhwere else, this place ticks all the boxes.

That I didn't book to stay longer!

This is a small hotel very close to the train station and the Dome. You will be given your own key to the place and it is easy to come and go. The rooms are clean and have everything one needs for business travel. I really enjoyed my interactions with the very friendly staff. Good coffee and breakfast items are offered. Great spot and very affordable.

The rooms, in particular the bathrooms, are small and quite basic. There is no elevator - be prepared to take your luggage up steep stairs (the staff offered to carry mine). No deal breakers.

It was conveniently located to the tourist sites I wanted to visit like the Cologne Cathedral. The bed was comfortable and the room warm. There were windows for fresh air. Close by were several eateries and basic food shops. The decor was cute with a desert theme.

It was very noisy due to the street outside being busy all night. We should have guessed when there were earplugs provided in the room. We would have liked access to a fridge but we are finding that rare in Europe economy hotels.

First the staff were amazing! Then the very short distance to the Cathedral, train station, rhine river, restaurants etc. great location!

I should have checked ahead of time about air conditioning. There was a fan in the room which helped, and the windows opened. This meant we could hear the drivers at the cab stand talking well into the night. In the US the “first floor” is the ground floor. In Europe it’s often one flight of stairs up. Thankfully this hotel had an elevator.

Excellent location very close to train station, cathedral, XMAS markets. Great cafe around the corner and wonderful low-key italian restaurant (Pino) across the street. Very helpful information provided by the staff to navigate the area.

Room was overlooking the street, and the street noise was not so bad. But...the curtains are thin, and don't close so the lights of the street are way too bright to darken the room for a decent sleep.

We really liked the cleanliness and hospitality. The hotel kept our baggage for us before check in and after check out so we could carry on browsing the Christmas markets, climb the tower of the cathedral and have lunch. There was a kettle and coffee and tea which we made use of. Everything was well set out and we had everything we needed including Wi-Fi.

The only thing that was a small negative was that there was no lift and we were on the 4th floor but we were warned and it didn’t cause us too much of an issue because we travelled light. You might want to request a lower floor if you have trouble with stairs but there weren’t any ground floor rooms.

Location was fab. Room was a good size and the shower was great. Did contact free check in due to arrival time but staff were great when we checked out and offered to store our luggage. Couldn't hear any noise from the street despite being in the city centre.

Just noise from the stairwell when people were coming and going, doors banged very loudly and echoed. Other than this the rooms were sound proof.

We had a lovely stay here. The location is everything! We were off the train and at the hotel within 5 minutes (or less) walking and it is also right around the corner from the Cathedral - walk 1 minute and you're there! We came to town to explore the Christmas Markets and it was a great base for us. It is a small hotel and nothing fancy but it was very clean and comfortable. We did not eat breakfast there as there are many amazing bakeries around. I would 100% recommend that you book as I know I will stay again if I ever find myself back in Cologne!

The guys at the front desk were super friendly and remembered parts of our itinerary whenever we’d come to the desk and ask us how things were. The rooms were super clean and we had beautiful balconies with incredible views of the Dom. It’s also right around the corner. This will be my main stay any time I visit Köln in future.
