Lovely, quiet room (Room 223) which overlooked a beautiful church. It wasn't facing the main street, which was perfect for ensuring a peaceful stay and a good night's sleep. A central location..literally across the road from Köln Dom. The breakfast was amazing - so much choice... hot and cold food. Cereals, cold meats, salad, fresh fruit, and an amazing selections of breads, crpissants and fruit juices. Staff so kond - let me check in 2 hours early. Also let me charge my phone after I had checked out My room was spotlessly clean. Really comfortable and everything worked perfectly. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was excellent, a stone's throw from the Dom and Hauptbanhof. The room was nice also, especially for the price - clean, with a nice shower/bathroom, and the bed was even and comfortable. The staff were exceptional. One lady at the front desk even lent me her phone to call various lost and found offices (I lost my wallet that weekend). Another staff member, Jan, was also super helpful and friendly, with good recommendations and pleasant conversation (very useful as I try to improve my German!)

It was so near the central station and the cathedral. The bedrooms are very clean. The staff were very nice especially Hussein, at the front desk/reception. We had to extend our stya for 3 more days due to the holidays and they accommodated us without giving us any problem and they let us use the same room we were in. We also asked for a quiet room and they gave it to us.

The elevator is too small, it was hard to fit our suitcases and us.

Excellent location, the staff was amazing and the apartment was very clean. It was a very pleasent stay.

We stayed on the 1st floor where everybody can see you if you don't pull the curtains on the windows and there isn't enough light in the room. Also, one of the windows is broken and the other one is half broken so you can't leave them opened if you're not in the room and there is no air conditioning.

This place is a stones throw from the cathedral and the train station.

The only gripe I would I say I have is that as a light sleeper it was extremely noisy at night, often guests coming in from a late night. It would be my recommendation if the hotel put some sort of sign up asking people to be respectful at night.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Location was excellent, close to city centre and train station. Easy to find.

Lift was out of order as was the coffee machine for breakfast. Staff said these were about to be fixed so just unfortunate timing.

very helpful staff! thank you. the room was a little bit cold but at least they offered me to change the room and I tried other 2 rooms but they were also the same. overall it was good.

As well as two years ago today this is still a good spot close to Köln Hauptbahnhof for a reasonably priced stay. As I was staying in exactly the same room as last time, the space didn’t changed at all. The room is still small, it’s o’k for sleeping, but you can’t spend a day there.

Breakfast is basic, but sufficient. Don’t expect any exotic meals or a meal change from day to day. Although being renovated here and there and reasonably kept up in a decent shape, the hotel looks tired and would need a refreshment with some repairs. This been said I still recommend this hotel as a budget choice for stay in Köln, especially if you get a good deal.
