I loved the bedroom. It was super small but there was everything I needed. A kettle, a fridge, a TV, Wifi, and even my personal balcony. It felt very cosy! Also, it’s really close to the main station and to the cathedral.

The registration was a bit confusing. Here’s what I wish I knew before: you cannot enter before 3PM. Basically, everything happens digitally on a machine. You don’t get any info (no room number, no code to enter) before that hour. At 3PM you can use the machine and it will give you a code. I think it’s possible to leave your bags somewhere but I couldn’t find it so I had to pay for a luggage consignment somewhere else until I was able to get in my room. There are no elevators, and the sound isolation is not amazing. But apart from that I had a great time in this hotel :)

Location right by the station. Excellent room. Amazing way to stay at the heart of cologne. Rooms and beds were quite good.

The self checkin system had a bug where it considered my middlename and last name as my last name and I couldn’t checkin without calling them. If your name has special characters or hyphens, you may need to call them, but they’re super responsive. Also, you may get a 3rd floor room like we did, and have to carry heavy bags across 3 stories of stairs. Wasn’t an issue for us, but may be relevant.

The room was clean, modern, excellent facilities (rain head shower, lighted mirror, coffee machine in the room, big smart tv), housekeeping was excellent, staff was relatively easy to reach, i missed housekeeping one day and asked via the in room tablets around 6pm for extra coffee and a staff member brought them to the room within 5 minutes! The location was incredible, can't be beat, close to the sights, walking distance to almost everything, hardly a block from the train station! My room had a view (kind of obstructed but view none the less) of the cathedral and it was nice hearing the bells in the morning!

Bit smaller than advertised but cozy for 1 (or 2 if you pack light). The self check in was a bit difficult to navigate (they had my name in wrong). Had to call the property and they helped me check in without further issues. Took me a little bit to find the entrance as well, but there were signs!

I was so grateful to find this place at such short notice. I was staying in a near by hostel and my trip was ruined by disrespectful students smoking, drinking and parting until 6am. I noticed this place across the street and having checked out of my previous accommodation, logged onto their site to see if anything was available. I secured a room for immediate check in for £99 for the night. Given that anything in Cologne this week that wasn’t a bed in a shared dorm was £150 per night plus due to a convention, I immediately booked the room. Check in was simple and I was welcomed by a very friendly, helpful man who sped up the process. I was absolutely thrilled with the room. The only way I can describe it is, If I were to ever run my own hotel, this is exactly how I would want it to be. The decor is beautiful and the rooms are full of extra touches to make you feel welcome. Complimentary toiletries, complimentary soft drinks in the fridge, Bluetooth connectivity, electronically operated beds with various levels of recline (which are SUPER comfortable), towels and tea and coffee. The TV was huge with a variety of channels and was also Netflix compatible, which is something I love when I’m travelling. The bathroom was immaculately clean and fresh and the room just looked like a lot of time, effort and money had been put into it to ensure that guests enjoyed their stay. I only wish I’d found this place sooner, after no sleep the night before; the day was somewhat wasted. This wouldn’t have been the case had I stayed here! The location couldn’t be better. Opposite the main station and cathedral and right in the centre of it all. There’s a gorgeous little noodle cafe underneath also if you get hungry. I highly recommend this hotel if you find yourself in Cologne. 10 out of 10. I was super super impressed and will absolutely be booking this place the next time I’m in the city.

Superb location with many restaurants nearby and few minutes away from the train station / cathedral. Room decor nice, nice chair, mini bar with a free daily bottle of water and 2 soda. Bathroom ok. Checking a bit slow to enter but easy process, some reviews complaining about the long code but it is only used once then after, it is only a 4 digit code. Nice Nespresso machine if you like coffee. Saw a staff at the reception (it is literally a small box) on the first day and 2 guys cleaning the rooms on the next days. When I checked out, there was nobody at the "reception".

I believe, I booked a double bed with a balcony but I received 2 single beds put together and no balcony. I did not like the bed, I could not sleep. Mattress was continually moving. One of the single bed had an electronic device to curve it but did not use it. The other bed did not have it or it was missing or broken.

unfortunally the check in process is not perfect and I had to sleep in the stairs because the activation code is showed only one time ever and the machine had no papper and when you try ti recover the code is only possible recover the 4 digits codes so I couldn't activate the room door and only enter the building but not the room. the rest was amazing

Hotel was two minute walk from the main train station & about the same distance to the cathedral & the wider City Centre. hotel best described as compact & bijou. It contains everything that you will need for a short stay, it is well thought out & quirky. We had a room on the top floor with a partial view of the Cathedral from the balcony. Bed was comfortable & clean with the room tidied every day. Soap & shampoo in the shower room. Kettle with tea & coffee provided, also a small fridge with a free bottle of water. Plenty of shops, bars & restaurants within walking distance. Check in was a 15.00hrs check out was 11.00hrs. Excellent value for money would definitely return here.

Location is amazing... just few meters from train station (we came by train) and Christmas market at Cathedral. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. We took a compact room so the bed was smaller in width and accessible only from one side, which is not handy while travelling with friends or colleagues. But the bed was very comfortable and pillows and blankets were awesome. Free water, coffie and tea in the room surprised us all, you don't see that very often anymore. Highly recommended.

we were very happy with our stay. Some people could mind the busy street, but if the window was closed, we practically didnt hear anything.

Spacious room in a great location, very close to the train station and the Cologne Cathedral (which we could see the top of from our balcony). Was great having a fridge in the room, and the complimentary cold drinks went down well on a hot day. Check-in was quick & easy.

The pillows were a little uncomfortable. Also, the smart tablet in our room wasn't working and we never got an update or it back from reception so we could not see what features this had for the room.

Overall, I had a comfortable and pleasant experience. The room was cozy, clean, and well-maintained, which was a big plus for me. However, it's worth mentioning that the room was a bit on the smaller side, which may not be ideal for travelers who prefer more space to move around. On the positive side, the location of the room was fantastic. It was very close to the city center, making it easy for me to explore and enjoy all the attractions, restaurants, and shops in the area. The convenience of the location added to the overall quality of my stay. Thanks to Chiara Rossi for recommending this hotel to me.

One thing to note is that there was no air conditioning in the room. While this wasn't a major issue during my stay, it might be something to consider during the hotter months.
