An awesome little new hotel by Hyatt at the heart of Mainz; 20 mins train ride from Frankfurt airport, 5 mins walk from main train station at Mainz, 10 mins walk from downtown. Breakfast healthy, fresh ingredients and really delicious. Two awesome coffee machines with all options. Gym is on top floor and for such a small hotel, the gym and sauna are amazing. This is a little gem not many know about. Forgot to mention, they have the best selection of music playing in the lobby/restaurant/bar area. Very nice staff.

Breakfast was excellent though a little crowded. Easy to park the car. Room for 4 was superb and beds supremely comfortable. Gym was an added bonus.

Difficult to find a table for 4 at breakfast. Hotel location was near the train station and near transport facilities though not near river or old town. I am not one for printed material, though some information in the hotel about nearby sights etc would be good as reception seemed always busy.

The hotel is modern and clean, staff are friendly and helpful. The location is central - good choice of breakfast.

However if you are staying there for work and need a desk - it’s not very comfortable. The rooms don’t have coffee or tea facilities, you have to ask reception for the kettle to make tea. I was not impressed that bottled water is not replaced every day. You would expect for that price point that at least there would be bottled water daily.

1- AC not cooling down at all and it was too warm inside the room due to the hot weather. Cannot open window because it was too noisy from the street 2- No fan was provided when requested due to limited number and it was only provided for the last night out of the stayed four nights and it was in bad condition 3- breakfast options, quality and service require improvement 4- Housekeeper was too rude. He enters the room in the morning (around 9 am ) without knocking the door. I warned him but still behavior continued next days 5- Poor housekeeping. Bedsheets never replaced even after the 3rd night

1. the price slightly exceeds the daily limit for German academics to stay there (unless we cover the extra cost at our own expenses). if below the threshold, man more could stay more frequently. 2. breakfast. Although the breakfast is excellent, the options are not flexible. On one of the two morning I was there I was not feeling well and could not have eaten a full breakfast that morning; I asked to buy a simple croissant and was denied this, suggested I could go to the train station (on a Sunday). I was rather disappointed by that. Flexibility is key when people travel.

Great location only a short walk to the train station and easily accessible to the main downtown area. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Jacob. The room was tastefully decorated and very functional.

We weren’t able to figure out the air conditioner but we could open the window and get cool fresh air. We were told it was because the unit used recycled water and it “took time” to kick in.

We thought the welcome, friendliness and care shown by staff were excellent. The attention to detail in the accommodation coupled with the art work were superb. The breakfast to first class. A short walk to the train station but further to the tourist attractions. Great car park facilities.

The only thing was that the shelf/bench beside the bed made it hard for an older person to get in and out of bed easily.

Nice, modern building. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Really liked the room, it was small but comfortable with ample light. The bed was very comfy, with separate duvets. Water pressure was excellent as well. The breakfast was also excellent.

What could be improved is having alternative milk options out at breakfast as I am lactose intolerant. Otherwise everything was perfect.

My stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations! The rooms are cozy, clean, and create an incredible atmosphere of comfort. The staff deserves special recognition – everyone is polite, friendly, and always ready to help. The breakfasts here are delightful: fresh and delicious dishes to suit all tastes. The hotel is so good that it alone is a reason to return to this city.

Breakfast had a good variety, it is a good location since the Main Train Station is within walking distance. It is noisy but when when windows are closed very well insulated and quite.....

Sink in bathroom is cool looking but not very functional, the baskets for the storage of bathroom items do not work well
