Its right outside hauptbahnhof, we took the DB from Amsterdam to Munich were tired upon arrival and didn't have to walk far AT all. Super! What was also great was the shower, normally these cheaper hotels often don't really have a nice water pressure, they are hardly warm etc. This room had a RAIN shower, EXTREME water pressure and a HOT shower. This sounds mundane but my day clears right up with an amazing shower 10+ for the shower ;)

The beds were too soft for me. I have a really poor bed so I have to say its hard for me to find any bed that doesn't screw me up. There was no water cooker in the room, would've liked that.

Best location. Very near to the munich central station. Lot of transport connections near by. Rooms were comfy and included all essentials. There is a free coffee machine in the ground floor. Its a decent one. I did a 8 day trip to Bavarian alps. I stayed at this hotel twice during my trip - On the day of arrival at Munich and on the day of my return from Munich. My room came with a fan during my first day at Munich. However there was no fan in the room that was offered to me during my return from Munich. I needed the fan because it was very warm. Overall i would say its a Good value for money. Could be little cheaper.

The room was very clean, though it could use some refreshing (you can see it is dated), but still spacious and comfortable room, specially the bed. Hotel staff were very nice and accommodating and they offer tea and coffee for free in the breakfast area which is appreciated.

Location is conveniently a 3 min walk to the train station, but the problem is that around that area there are some weird people around (drunk people or drugged people on the street, asking for money, and also the area gets very dirty). Sometimes it felt unsafe to walk there and pass through this area.

I can only confirm all the positive comments about this hotel. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes from Munich's main rail station and within walking distance of the Altstadt and main sights. The staff are extremely nice and friendly. Our room had a separate single bed for our child, which was a wonderful idea! There are also many cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets close to the hotel. We truly enjoyed our time in Munich, thanks to the Creatif Hotel Elephant, and will definitely come back.

Of course, there can always be small negatives, but the positive aspects of this hotel stand out. The building is old as mentioned in other reviews, but it’s clear they are doing their best to keep the rooms clean. The daily cleaning routine was great. Some people might find the taxis in front of the hotel noisy, but for us, it added convenience and safety!

Very friendly and helpful check-in with excellent staff. Good location to train and bus station. Room was as depicted as per booking which was clean and comfortable. Common area welcoming.

This is the second time I've stayed at the hotel. It is less than 1 minute walking from the Hauptbahnhof, UBahn, SBahn, etc. Very convenient access to all modes of transportation. It is very clean and showers have always been high pressure and very hot. Beds are comfortable, and there is a lobby with tables, chairs and a sofa to hang out and enjoy a free cappuccino or cup of tea. It really is one of the best deals close to the train station that I've found.

It is a simple hotel. If you are looking for a fancy lobby or a big German breakfast, this is not your place.

It is an interesting place with a good price. Rather for youngsters than family with kids ;) The room was small and very simply equipped. The bathroom was outside in the hall but very clean and new. The staff was very helpful. Location is great if you like nightlife - close to the huge station and walking distance to the touristic center / bars etc. So area is not very quiet. Parking was not cheap but close, in another hotel 100 meters distance.

The room we got was 8th floor, very small and it was not possible to leave the window open for the night (despite over 30 degrees outside) because of the noise.

Clean rooms and bathroom. Breakfast was well worth the 9 Euro. Continental breakfast, where the lady organising it took great pride, ensuring everything was provided.

A very nice, spacious room more than enough for two people! Window with a view in the city! The bathroom small but functional with everything working perfectly! Hot water in seconds and plenty of liquid soap and shower gel! The heating is very efficient!!! There was no noise from the other rooms or from outside!!! Coffee was offered all the time! The staff very friendly and ready to help you!!! It's an international staff that makes you feel so very welcome...it was great that I met the two lovely Greek ladies at the reception and Elizabeth was the one to receive our lost luggage from the airport!!! The location of the hotel amazing!!! Very close to the central train station and the center of the old town but still quiet and without traffic!!! Wifi was working perfectly all time!!! It's been a beautiful week in Munich and I'll try to book always here!!! Sotìris

If I can suggest something to make the experience even more perfect I'd say that the mattress was a bit too soft... but it didn't cause any problems really!!!
