The room was very spacious, full of light, with heating that could be regulated individually. The hotel is within walking distance to the main train station, and the city centre, yet silent enough to allow one to sleep comfortably throughout the night. The buffet breakfast was quite good, and the Italian restaurant downstairs offered a good selection of Italian food which we tried out on multiple evenings. Will certainly opt for this hotel if we are to return to Munich.

It's very difficult to criticize this hotel but the one matter we found difficult was parking our small SUV which had the baggage carrier mounted on its roof. This superseded the height limitations of most covered parking areas including the one right opposite the hotel, making our arrival in the city quite problematic after a long trip. Apparently, street parking is not a solution due to the system of having to pay every few hours, including throughout the night ... plus all instructions were in German and we couldn't find a way how to change language! The paid covered parking on Hopfenstraße, which was within a short walking distance to the hotel, saved our otherwise parking nightmare.

The room was very spacious, modern, and clean. The conjoined single beds into one double bed made for an extra high and comfortable bed. The hotel's central location, a few minutes on foot away from the central Marienplatz, and its excellent Italian restaurant on the ground floor, make this an excellent hotel to use as base for Munich and Bavaria.

The two pillows made available in our double room were very flat and had to be rolled in half to have a decent height. There were no extra pillows available in the wardrobe, which we would have gladly appreciated. The kitchenette in the room is an excellent idea and we paid a small extra fee to use it, but the hob would automatically switch off after a few seconds so we couldn't use it. Our stay was brief and we could live with these two small things that, had we to stay for a longer period, we would have addressed with the helpful reception team downstairs.

Very good sized room, lots of space and storage, nice size bathroom with a good shower. Excellent location right around the corner from the Haptbahnhof (main tain station) and lots of good local cafe and fast food options nearby as well as shops like Rewe, Aldi, Lidl for basic supplies. Had a good size fridge in the small kitchenette.

Could have been slightly more quality of life sundries such as coffee, single use milk, sugar etc etc. There was a coffee pot with some paper filters and cups but we had to purchase everything else in order to make them.

Vi Vadi hotel is located in the center of Munchen, near by (few minutes walk) the Central Station, metro, shops, restaurants, etc. The room is neat, very pleasant bed (with nice thick matrass), the room is spacious, a nice wooden floor, little fridge, enough space for your clothes in the wardrobe, pleasant shower with big showerhead as well as a smaller one. The room had a balcony for if you'd want to enjoy a bit of fresh air and breeze when it's warm. We didn't have breakfast. Elevator is right in front of the entrance at the lobby. There is a Vi Vadi restaurant that is part of this place, for if you need to get lunch or dinner. Staff is helpful, both check in and check out were easy. And, very pleasant, check out-time was 12 noon, which was perfect for us. Next to Vi Vadi Hotel is also a nice bakery where you can buy bread and sweets, have coffee, juice, etc. as well. We did as we were on the go. Certainly a place to recommend.

Nothing to complain. Our view (at the back) was not stunning, so to speak. But hey, we weren't there to stay too long in our hotel.

Great hotel location, very easy to find—just a 10-minute walk from the train station, 15 minutes to the old town, and within walking distance of many restaurants and cafes. My room was exceptionally clean, so much so that it felt as if I were the first person to use it. The bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet (despite being in the city center, I didn't hear any noise even with the window open), and the Wi-Fi was quite fast and reliable.

My room was on the ground floor with panoramic windows overlooking the garden, so I had to keep the curtains closed most of the time for privacy.

Location was excellent. Close to Munich Hauptbahnhof and within walking distance of popular tourist destinations like Marienplaz, Residenz and Hofbrauhäus, just to name a few. Staff were polite and friendly. The room was clean, and everything I needed was provided.

I stayed on the 6th floor, and noticed that there's no airflow in the room unless the window is wide open. It could get quite warm in the room. Unfortunately it was raining for most of my stay, so I couldn't have the window open for long, and mostly relied on the provided desk fan, (which did the job fairly well).

Excellent location, very clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional, the serving staff bent over backward to help us. The Italian restaurant, which is in the hotel, where we had dinner one night, very authentic and delicious. I only took one point off because one of our rooms was quite stuffy, opening the sliding door in the front of the building, people stand outside and smoke. If you like your sliding door open, you also share their smoke. Request a room away from the street where there is a nice below. The staff were extremely accommodating for anything we needed. Definitely recommend this hotel...

The secondhand smoke... but it's avoidable...

Excellent for those who come to travel and walk around during the day, the hotel is functional and pleasant to return to. Small lobby at the entrance. The room was like new, with a kitchenette and balcony.

The environment is fine during the day, after 12 at night a little less so.

The location is perfect !! Right in the middle of everything and only a few minutes walking distance from Main train station. The bus stop to the city centre is only 2 minutes away. The room was clean, water pressure was out of this world, and the bed and pillows were really comfortable . We had everything we needed from the hotel and the surroundings.

Make sure to call the hotel before you make your bookings and ask whether the renovation is still running. Otherwise, forget napping 😁

The room was very clean and big. The breakfast was great with a lot of different options. The breakfast was offered in an Italian restaurant in the hotel which has great Italian food. Overall compared to what we paid I can't say there's something we didn't like because what they offer is a great value for what we paid compared to the prices of hotels just a couple of feet away which are at least double the price
