The Charles Hotel is truly a wonderful place to stay when visiting Munich. 1. Staff: Every single staff member we met was exceptionally kind and respectful — it really made us feel welcome. A special shout-out to Isabela at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make our check-in smooth and stress-free, even arranging our room early before the official check-in time. 😊 2, Restaurant: The breakfast and buffet were fantastic, with excellent service to match. Definitely a highlight of the stay! 3. Location: This one of the greatest things about this hotel is its location. It is around everything you need to visit by walking. Also, they have a private parking garage if you have a rental car. 4. Great service room and high speed WiFi.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully furnished, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The breakfast was a highlight of my mornings, with a wide variety of delicious options, from freshly baked pastries to healthy choices and local specialties. The hotel's location is unbeatable—centrally situated with easy access to key attractions, public transport, and lovely local restaurants. It made exploring Munich so convenient. Overall, a truly memorable experience!

Luxurious accommodation in an excellent location. The bathroom toiletries were very high quality. Excellent spa.

Nothing to dislike

Location was perfect, staff was great. We traveled from NYC and got in very early and we were not able to check in early which was hard for us traveling 26 hours with no sleep. But the rooms were very comfortable. Also we asked for helped at the conceriage desk for ticket to Vienna which was great she booked us our tickets. She don't mention that we needed to get assigned seats. Which was a big deal because we had to stand for a long portion of the 4 hour train ride. Had we known we would have asked for seats. Since we paid $100 euro we didn't realize we had to pay more for seats.

Checking in early would have been a plus since we traveled from NYC

Lovely hotel with super helpful staff! Convenient to museums and the Hauptbahnhof.

While I was comfortable enough, I do feel the bed was near time to be replaced. There was a hollow on my side, and my husband complained about a stiff back. The location was great for museums and for the main train station-- perfect if using Munich as a base to train to Salzburg and Innsbruck-- but about a mile from Marienplatz and the Viktualienmarkt. It might have been fun to be a bit closer to them for fun eating and drinking options.

The coziness

The spa was crowded and not so hyggiene

The hotel has been professional within most of the aspects of our stay. Even though we had several issues, those were professionally and quickly solved. The building is in a truly good conditions and placed in picturesque location. In addition I would like to mark out its SPA and wellness facilities, which are perfect!

Unfortunately one during the period of our stay - the room was not finished and its bathroom was left 50/50 prepared. It was fixed after our call, while still remained as a tick, which is not acceptable for the hotel of such caliber!

The breakfast buffet was excellent & the food was delicious! The staff were wonderful. They were very welcoming and tremendously helpful. They went above and beyond to help us. The spa was also great especially the heated lounge chairs.

The pool temp was a bit too cold for us. Wish they had a hot tub.

its the 1st time ive stopped at the Charles and I thought it was lovely. the room airy spacious, immaculately clean. all staff were happy and very courteous.

I did think the breakfast was a little limited compared to other hotels I've previously stopped at, but nothing too off-putting. it was great to be able to read a newspaper in English.

They have mix emotion you see them talk to them very friendly in your back they are evel I was over charged three times and talk to them they remove the charges then some one else in the evening return the charge
