The hotel is right in the city center, right near restaurants and shops. It looks so beautifull with all the flowers at the windows. It is very authentic inside, i think some of the furniture pieces are from 1400…

I dind’t like the wooden beds, they were making too much noise, and the door as well. An interesting room, as we had a king and a queen bed, but too much noise when you get up/down from the bed or when you open/close the door. But i admit, i have never slept in a room with this kind of old furniture, it was ok for two nights. I think the breakfast could be improved by adding more pastries and more options for eggs. It was ok, you have enough to eat, but for 17 euros per person, there should be more options. I have asked for fried eggs, dind’t have, i have asked if they have pastries, didn’t have. That’s beakfast for me. To make two fried eggs shouldn’t be a problem.

Great hotel in the middle of the action. Rothenburg is a small town but this hotel is pretty and truly in the ideal location. Our room was spacious and clean, updated and pretty. The staff was friendly too.

They don't have a coffee maker and that would have been great. The pillows were also crappy.

Perfect spot for exploring and experiencing Rothenburg. Hotel is right in the town centre and is full of charm and fits perfectly into the beautiful atmosphere of the town. Parking is convenient and easy to find which was great. Room is lovely and comfortable. Hotel is surrounded by wonderful restaurants and is an ideal base for exploring this magnificent town.

Good location in the historic city center. The building is beautiful and impresive.

We got a room that was not refurbished , and the pictures on the booking website do NOT match the Reality, which is misleanding. Our room view was towards a small inner Court overlooking the fire escape stairs.

Location was excellent. Staff very professional. Breakfast very good. Room very comfortable. Only criticism would be lack of long mirror and electrical outlets

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Eisenhut on the 16th of February, as part of a short weekend trip to Germany, and it truly exceeded our expectations! Parking was available a short distance away from the hotel and our rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and offered stunning views of the town’s picturesque rooftops, with tidy balconies allowing you to sip a cup of tea in the frisk morning air as you watch chimneys smoke in the distance. The combination of antique furnishings and modern comforts made it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Rothenburg, just steps away from the town’s iconic landmarks, charming streets, and fantastic restaurants. Though the hotel itself carries a rich history, it offers all the modern amenities one could need, ensuring a cozy and relaxing stay. Breakfast was another highlight, served in a beautiful dining area with a fantastic selection of fresh and delicious options. Every detail, from the presentation to the quality of the food, added to the overall experience. Hotel Eisenhut is the perfect place for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the magic of Rothenburg while enjoying top-notch hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to fellow travelers!
