Located near to shops, bars, restaurants. Perfect set up for our family (2 adult children) with a double and 2 single beds seperated by a sliding door and an additional shower and sink. The room and hotel was beautifully clean and our room got cleaned and fresh towels daily. Plenty of sockets, free safe in room (no USB ports so adaptors required) and a hairdryer provided. Buffet breakfast was good and plenty of seating inside and out. The pool area is not huge but enough loungers, seats and deckchairs as guests didn't reserve beds all day. Staff were very helpful and provided extra pillows and attended to an issue with the patio door immediately. Option to book late checkout at a cost of €40-70 or free to book a slot for a room to change or shower which we did. Overall a really enjoyable stay.

Hotel is uphill from the beach and port which was not an issue for us but may be for some. Pool towels are not provided which we were aware of before travelling although it does list these in the hotel description.

We travelled as a family with 2 boys 11 and 8 years old. Stayed for 3 nights. The location was in the heart of Rhodes. There are lots of convenient shops, cafes and amazing sets of restaurants that are very hard to pick. Our room was fantastic, family room. Our room was cleaned daily, but also, the hotel corridors were mopped daily, too. The pool isn't huge, but it was enough to cool down. Ellie Beach is an 8-minute walking distance, which we enjoyed for 2 days. The old town is a 10-minute drive away. We hired 2 scooters, which helped with the entire experience. Otherwise, a taxi to the old town is between €11-€15.

This was the second time we were staying in this hotel (August 2024). We really liked everything. The atmosphere was great. Maybe for some people breakfasts were monotonous (as mentioned here in some reviews), but personally, everything was just great for me - everyday there always was something new that you could try. This time we used the services of the reception quite a lot. Everyone was very polite and helpful. At least that was our experience. I would like to mention the girl at the reception named Fotini, I hope we have written the name correctly :) she was incredibly positive, she helped with everything we asked her :)

The room was very nice. Having two showers was a great convenience. The rooms were clean and cleaned very well every day. The location was excellent. The breakfast had a wide variety of options.

The air conditioner was sometimes noisy, especially when operating on the low fan setting. The noise decreased only on medium and high fan levels, so it needs to be fixed. Also, some of the bed sheets had stains — a bit more attention to cleanliness would be appreciated.

The breakfast is what got us all positively surprised, because it was so delicious and the variety of dishes to choose from was really cool. There are even different types of alternative milk types, like almond, soya and oat. The location is also favourable, it’s 5 and 3 minutes away from the beaches and 15 from the old town. The net of souvenir shops, where it’s also possible to buy some food and drinks is also very convenient. Everything can be purchased there. From the slippers to the towels. There are also 2 pharmacies nearby which are irk up to 10 p.m. places to eat are everywhere and the prices are neither too expensive, nor too cheap, just regular, although there is a bar and a restaurant in the hotel itself. Behind the hotel there is a wonderful tiny street with so many cool restaurants and an ice-cream place. Would definitely recommend going there!

Honestly, the cleaning of the room could do better. We could see the staff working on the premises all the time, but I honestly highly doubt the floor was ever moped in our room over the course of our stay. Still, we enjoyed our stay a lot.

We really enjoyed our short stay in this hotel, the rooms were nice and clean. We got ant apartment with 2 balconies and having 2 showers was a huge plus for 4 women. Great breakfast and reasonable pricing. We did not try out the pool as it is quite small and was always busy so you have to get in there pretty early in the morning. The staff were nice and friendly especially the host greeting all guests for breakfast! Perfect hotel for travellers on a budget and I think you get more than what you pay for.

No iron in the room and not available to borrow from reception

I enjoyed my stay at Esperia. The room was clean and pretty, and the whole hotel seemed like it was taken good care of. The breakfast was very good, there were plenty of choices in cold and warm foods. I knew in advance that bathrooms are small and handwash basin was in the bedroom, and it didn't bother me. Also I knew that the pool and pool area are quite small, but that's the situation also in many other hotels in Rhodes city. The location of the hotel is excellent, it's near the beach, the old town, the harbour and fashion shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are many hotels, markets and restaurants near Esperia, so in high season the neighbourhood might get noisy also at night time. But then again, that's the situation also in many other hotels in Rhodes city. In April it was quiet except of the music show every night at Mitsis Grand Hotel. Luckily the music was good. ;) My room was with park view as I wanted. The rooms with pool view might be more quiet. I can recommend Esperia, and would be happy stay there again.

Very central, easy access to everything beach , restaurants and sights. Linen changes very day.Spotlessly clean and staff were exceptionally welcoming. Breakfast was 5 star and incredible value for money. Will definitely return.

Very little really except rooms on the small size but beds were exceptionally comfortable and shower etc very good.

It was a very bad experience to have the sink outside the toilet. it did not feel hygienic. There was a lot of variety in the breakfast but the flavor was not good enough.

The breakfast is amazing - so many options (inc, continental such as toast/cereal plus hot food & Rhodian cuisine!). Plenty of food to go round - keeps you going until dinner. Nice pool area - great for relaxing after exploring the town in the summer heat. Some other reviewers commented on the size of the pool - it isn't particularly large, but I was able to do laps (about 1.1m deep). Our balcony faced the pool side - it was nice to use during the evening, a little sunny during the day-time.
