The hotel was spread out, it was big, the rooms were very spacious too and the staff were nvery helpful and nice. We loved having the option of there being an adults only swimming pool. Breakfast was varied and well stocked. Facilities were clean.

The hotel was a little dated. You get charged for beach umbrellas which is ridiculous as it should be part of the hotel facilities. There were two breakfast restaurants, we opted for the smaller restaurant in the other part of the hotel because it was more organised and the main lobby had birds flying in and taking food from the tables, we were not impressed. Also a few restaurants closed and there was nowhere to go for after dinner drinks as the bar only had few seating.

We stayed for 12 days. Great water facilities for kids, use of both new and old hotel amenities, lots of security , medical help available for free, lovely grounds, direct access to a very open beach, good range of buffet food, helpful staff, and only a 10 /15 min drive to the airport and town.

Eating in the day was a nightmare with birds constantly swooping down to steal food from tables and even the buffet display- so unhygienic. Decor -A little dated in the Casa with a dark miserable and impractical furniture arrangement in the lounge/ bar area.Evening entertainment was more like background music. -Poorly attended. Maybe the hotel needs to provide more sun beds and there’s an essential need for some cover from the sun. There wasn’t a single parasol!

The hotel was really clean and had loads of food choices if you didn't want to venture out. The rooms were big and had great air conditioning. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The kids' play area was great for our little one to move around on non-hard floors. There were plenty of pools with space to lay. It was super easy to check in and out. The taxi ride from the hotel to the airport cost 20k peso.

We really wanted to be able to lay on the beach, but it's a shame that the hotel doesn't have their own sun loungers and umbrellas. You have to buy them from the locals and they're not cheap. It would be nice to have an umbrella in the pool if you wanted to stay out of the sun.

Breakfast was amazing as always. Everything’s was very good about restaurants and breakfast. Delicious. And the staff are so cute😍 they always are for you if you need something special. Very good! And my daughter Always enjoy the pool for kids so it’s one of the reasons to back there.

I got a little difficult with the check in was super late. Spend a lot of time waiting for a room and then They didn’t give me a room as I booked I mean with the specific bed etc. I think the check in can be better in a next time.

Liked that you can share amenities with Torre del Mar-both properties pools were very nice and appropriate for all ages. Great place for families. Multiple restaurants to eat. Great location on the beach, close to airport and close enough to city center. Best part was the staff. Staff was WONDERFUL!!

Even though there were multiple restaurants, it seemed the menus were repetitive at all locations and breakfast was obligated to eat and pay for a buffet style. Not everyone eats buffet portions. Casa de Playa was clean but did show its age. Not run down or dirty, but just older.

Our room had a really good view of the sea and the pool. The breakfast was very good and had variety. I arrived with an inflamed sciatic nerve and the personnel at the buffet volunteered and provided assistance immediately. Great fresh fruit and Colombian coffee . The location made it possible to get to town, to the airport quickly and cheaply on Uber. So we enjoyed the beach right outside the hotel and sightseeing with hop-on hop-off buses.

One complaint outside the hotel's responsibility: The beach is public and there is relatively aggressive selling of goods and services interfering with the quiet beach experience.

❤️Perfect- location, decor, space in rooms, food, lobby & common areas, food areas, pools, steam and sauna spa, shopping, and staff. Easy access from airport. Lovely property but Hvac system must be addressed.

👎🏽HVAC needs work, leaking of water in the rooms, three rooms our family was assigned had leaking from the ceiling system. Making the floors slippery. Shower in one room fell off while being used.

Things I loved- Beachfront; 3 pools; close to airport. The room was clean; beds were comfortable; loved the outdoor sitting area. Food was good; Loved steam and sauna;loved the pools Staff were wonderful!

Quite a bit of condensation on the walls and ceilings due to the cooling system. Water also leaks from the ceiling vent. Made the floor slippery. We had to place towels on floor to prevent falling.

Multiple swimming pools. Lots of space for children to play. Open view on the beach. Good restaurants.

On average it lacked structural maintenance for the standing of the hotel. Absence of umbrellas around all swimming pools. Opening hours of the swimming pools could be enlarged, as you especially go to this kind of hotels for this reason

The staff , the beach , and the rooms are very clean

The food is expensive , the ratio quality/price is not for the value. Prices are like being in the U S . I recommend going out for food , over priced. I used to go a lot to this hotel . Lately , I have found it expensive for what it offers.
