I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Urban Lodge Hotel in Amsterdam and overall, I had a pleasant experience. Although the hotel is not located in the center, it is still very close by. It only took a 500-meter walk to reach the nearest train station, and a quick 5-minute train ride allowed us to reach Amsterdam Central Station. This convenience made it easy for us to navigate the city. The hotel itself has a nice ambiance and the staff were incredibly friendly and polite. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests we had during our stay, which made us feel welcome and valued as guests. We opted for a family room, and while it wasn't the most spacious, it served its purpose. The comfortable beds ensured we had a good night's sleep. However, I must admit that the limited space in the family room was slightly disappointing. The cleanliness of the room was generally satisfactory, but I feel that more attention could have been given to the cleanliness of the shower. However, this was not a major issue and did not significantly impact our stay. One of the highlights of the hotel was the beautiful lobby. It provided a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and we found ourselves spending a lot of time there, particularly in the evenings and early mornings. Considering the value for money, Urban Lodge Hotel is a great option. Additionally, there is a restaurant located opposite the hotel that offers delicious food and coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals there, and it was convenient to have such a great dining option nearby. In conclusion, Urban Lodge Hotel in Amsterdam offers a nice and comfortable stay, with friendly and attentive staff. While there were some minor drawbacks, such as the limited space in the family rooms and the cleanliness of the shower, these did not significantly impact our overall experience. I would recommend this hotel, particularly for its convenient location and excellent value for money.

The room was comfortable during our stay. We spent most of our time away and it was a perfect location to drive and also park the car. The train was a short walking distance away and only one stop from the Central Station. The staff was polite and the room provided everything that was necessary for a good night's stay. It was peaceful and comfortable. We didn't try the food or bar options in the establishment, therefore, no comment on that. However, we noticed other guests gathering in the obby bar to hang out in the evenings.

The shower seemed broken as the pressure and temperature didn't change while trying to adjust it. Some of the towels had stains on them, as well as a massive stain on the window curtain that oddly seemed to resemble blood (or chocolate?).

We had a small room with two beds; it was very clean and cosy, perfect for our family of three (the large bed was a little too soft, but otherwise the room was lovely). we also loved that the location of the Urban Lodge is located at a walking-distance to so many food places and the train station because it made travel so much easier. Lastly, we love the varied options for the breakfast - healthy and delicious, we didn't get bored eating the same thing every day like we usually do in other places.

We thought that the coffee/tea set would be actual mugs, but instead we were met with paper cups. That was fine, but we also expected the paper cups to have been changed every day as there was no way of washing them and we couldn't throw them away or else we would have had nothing to drink from. We were also surprised to find that the bathroom had no lock.

We loved the location of this hotel and the breakfast spread was amazing! The hotel is a 5-8 minute walk to the Sloterdijk train station, which is then only an 8-10 minute ride into Amsterdam Central station. The breakfast is worth adding to your stay, the spread is plentiful, we enjoyed it each day of our stay. There’s a restaurant option directly across from the hotel, and a gem of a Chinese takeout place a 10 minute walk down the road called Golden House. The staff were very pleasant, accommodating, and helpful!

The rooms were not super spacious, it was just enough for two traveller’s with two suitcases. We would not say this space wasn’t clean, but we would say it’s not the cleanest we have been to- we found some stains on the walls and mattress cover, however sheets and towels were clean and replaced regularly for us, and the washroom was sparkling. Overall, there was really nothing that we didn’t like enough that we wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel was stunning. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were great. The breakfast was good (nothing to write home about though). The staff were amazing and were very accommodating to our requests and the luggage hold area was really handy on our last day as it meant we could check out early and explore the city without having to lug around our bags all day. The location makes it really easy to get to the city centre as you can walk to the nearby station and easily catch a short train from there.

One of our bedrooms had a window that couldn’t be opened. The location is also not great for food. While there are great spots for brunch (The breakfast club, Local Flavour) nearby, there's limited options for dinner within a short walking distance.

Staff at the hotel were all welcoming and always ensuring we were comfortable and happy.They were very responsive, especially when we needed something. Breakfast was good and the lady at the breakfast was really lovely. She gave my toddler some crayons and paper to draw whilst we ate comfortable. My daughter really enjoyed the drawing session. Our room had a mini fridge ( which was really handy), kettle, and a hair dryer.

The bathroom in our room had a weird smell, but it wasn't too bad.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Urban Lodge Hotel in Amsterdam and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and beautifully designed. The room I stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a fantastic shower. The location of the hotel is also ideal, with easy access to public transportation and many of Amsterdam's top attractions within walking distance. I loved being able to explore the city and then come back to the comfort of Urban Lodge Hotel. Overall, my stay at Urban Lodge Hotel was nothing short of perfect. I will definitely be returning in the future and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Amsterdam.

The beds where very good and comfortable. It was clean and staff was alright.

Location was maybe not the best as there was no train cards for a week to buy. Had to buy them one at a time. One night staff employee was a bit rude to us and other guests.
