Nothing - it was just at the end of the season (end of Oct, beginning of Nov) so very quiet and relaxing. We even sometimes had the beach/pool to ourselves - Heaven. The shops, bars and restaurants where all closing for the season - but we were pre-warned and hit the supermarket in Mahon for our supplies for the week.

Loved everything! Quality accommodation in an amazing location : super gorgeous bay with a practically private beach for White Sands, great restaurant next door, beautiful infinity pool with sufficient sun loungers. Staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. We hired a car and had no problem finding parking. We explored the island but concluded that although there are other nice beaches they are no better than this one, so we'd be happy enough just staying here. There are several great restaurants within easy walking distance and the larger beach has pedalo hire great for families. The apartment is well equipped with a great kitchen including dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave. There is a proper freezer, large fridge, drip coffee machine and kettle. Importantly, there is a tap for filtered drinking water meaning no need to buy bottled water. The bathroom has a good shower, a hairdryer and an illuminated shaving mirror. The bedrooms have USB (A and C) charging outlets, decent wardrobe and the main bedroom has a safe. The living room has a sofa bed which is really good quality. The bedrooms and living room have an air conditioning unit each which works effectively. Overall, White Sands is great for both relaxing locally or as a base to explore the island and we will probably be back in the future!

Honestly we have nothing to complain about!

We were apprehensive about travelling with our 3 children under four years old. But this hotel gave us everything we needed and more. the location is wonderful, only 25 minutes from the airport. Once you’re there are you have beach access within a couple of minutes walk. The pool is fantastic. So clean and great for kids. Lots of restaurants within easy, walking distance with great views, and very happy to accommodate a family. Our two bedroom apartment was very comfortable, and we had a nice balcony in the evening when the kids were in bed. Small things were appreciated like an area where people leave their leftover inflatables and parasols for you to use.

We came across this hotel last minute for a few days away. Some may say it's too remote and not alot open due to being early in the season but for us, a family of 5 with 3 little girls aged 5,7,8 we've have no issues. The peacefulness has been bliss and the staff really do go over and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I've even considered looking at flights to extend our stay it has been that lovely. The apartment has everything and more you could possibly need and a very well equipped kitchen area. We took the car and did a food shop to stock up and ate like at home for the 4 nights we have been here. I'd recommend if possible taking the drive to lidl/aldi as you can get everything in 1 place but there is a shop walking distance should you not have a car. We hired a car through doncars. Extremely simple and straight forward no hassle at all and they meet you right off the plane. Within 40mins of landing we was in our apartment. I couldn't have asked for anything better these past few days. I checked in on my 40th birthday and the following day the hotel had put a bottle of champagne, cup cake with a candle and a hand written note. Very cute and made us all smile. I highly doubt anyone who chooses this hotel would be disappointed and it's exactly the same as the photos when booking.

A low floor apartment was requested during to mobility issues which was provided. Beautiful location so near the sea. All the rooms exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of wardrobe space. Our 2 bed apartment had an en-suite and a full bathroom which was great. Cooker was used to heat pizza and heated up quickly. Lovely clear picture on the TV. Good size outside table and chairs on the terrace. Towels changed 3 times in a week. Any questions were answered immediately by the friendly reception staff. Will definitely return in the future.

Drinks seemed pricey. 3 Bacardi and Cokes and one lemonade 27Euros. Not sure if they were doubles which were not requested. Other than that there was nothing we didn’t like.

Such a gorgeous place. We booked last minute as we were meant to be going to Cornwall but the forecast was thunderstorms! So we wanted something cheap and cheerful in the sun but this truly exceeding our expectations. The pool is amazing the kids loved it, the beach is perfect for kids the water being calm and clear and gorgeous sand. You can hire a pedalo with a slide they loved that. Good restaurants nearby too! The apartment was everything we needed and every morning we’d walk up to the shop (about 5 min walk) to get croissants and things for sandwiches to take to the pool/beach. The hotel had evening entertainment on one of which were acrobats which was brilliant. There’s an onsite restaurant which was good too you can sit have a drink while you watch kids in the pool. Would definitely come back! Only thing to note you can’t book a taxi for more than 4 people on a whim has to be 48 hours notice! So we had to book 2 to get back to airport as missed this window.

This is a perfect place to come if you're looking for a nice, chilled and relaxing holiday. My wife and two daughters (2 + 5) came here at the end of May and it proved to be a great time to come as it was quite quiet - there was always a sun lounger free and the pool (which is bigger than it looks in photos) wasn't busy at all - sometimes we had it all to ourselves. The accommodation is very nice, spacious and clean - we had a 2 bed apartment near the top with a nice view onto the main courtyard which let in lots of natural light. The staff were very friendly - Hiske greeted us when we arrived and we were able to check in early which was a nice bonus. She was very nice and always had a smile on her face, greeting you by name too when seeing her throughout the stay. There is a nice, simple restaurant on site too, again with nice staff and you can bring drinks to enjoy by the pool also. The beach itself is lovely too, nice and quiet with clear waters too. Outside the resort are lots of lovely restaurants (loved the Good Bridge Cafe - incredible views) and a local supermarket for supplies! All in all this is a lovely place to come for a relaxed holiday and to recharge your batteries!

Nothing, it was perfect for our family at our age!

I really enjoyed my stay. The communication system, especially the messages via WhatsApp starting from the reception, was excellent. The apartment I stayed in, with access to both the pool and the beach, was wonderful. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and very welcoming. Peaceful and sunny – Fornells is a very charming place, perfect for walks and snorkeling around the small beaches and rock formations nearby.

What I liked the least was that there aren’t many things to do. You need to go a bit farther to find more attractions.

The apartment we had was spotless and exceptionally well appointed. The staff, in particular Hiske, were very welcoming and helpful but not over the top. The pool was clean and inviting and the view, incredible. We found Arenal d'en Castell to be the perfect location to unwind and relax and appreciate just how very lucky we were to be there and I don't think there is a hotel in the area better situated than White Sands Beach Club. We went as a family with kids aged 13-22 and we all loved it. We had a two bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment which was very modern and clean. All the beds were comfy including the sofa bed in the living room and the bathrooms were of a really high standard. The Aircon worked like a dream and the kitchen had everything you could want for a week or two, there was a separate laundry room on the resort which we didn't make use of but which looked modern and well equipped.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

We loved our stay at White Sands Beach Club. The apartment was modern, spacious, spotless. Beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped, the bathroom is very nice with a big walk-in shower. There is a sizeable outdoor terrace, too. The resort is beachfront next to a stunning secluded beach. There is a beautiful big infinity pool with amazing views over the beach. There are very good restaurants within a very short walk, in addition to that of the resort. We will definitely come back.
