Great pool area, helpful staff and spacious, clean rooms. Easy access to massage places, restaurants, pharmacy, 7 Eleven, etc all along the road. I love all the eco items in the room and they provide distilled water in the reusable glass bottles. Breakfast was okay. It’s about 5-10 minutes walk to the nearest beach for the longtail boats and lots of restaurants and cafes all along the beach area.

The pillows were too high. They had no soft and flatter pillows. It’s a far walk to the better beach where Centara is located but it is walkable and doable. Lobby area is small and cramped.

The Red Ginger Resort is quiet, clean and pleasant, with exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff. The pool is nice, too. All in all, the place is good value for money during rainy season but nothing to rave about. The location is okay because it's in a rather quiet side street, not far from the Ao Nang night market.

You'll notice after a couple of days that the breakfast buffet is boring and unappealing. How many super bland omelettes can one eat? The coffee makers they have are more like student canteen style. The beds are so hard your back will hurt in the morning, and also don't expect to find anything other than BBC1, France 24 or Al Jazeera news on TV.

First i would like to thank om and pooh front office stuff ..we arrived earlier to the hotel but they let us check in as soon as they prepared the room- because they saw our little toddler exhausted-and they didn't charge us The hotel is getting renovated so they offered as food voucher best stuff ever om ,tanya , pooh and cleaning ladies.....i will be coming again for sure ao nang beach is 5min walk , walking alley and night market are nearbye

Location was perfect....walking distance from night market and aao nang beach Staffs were all very pleasant and helpful..they were always available for any assistance as and when required. Lots of indian restaurants around the area. Rooms were really huge and spacious. It was worth the price paid. Property also organises live music, pool foam party, etc.to make guest experience more entertaining. Special thanks to staff members Nam, Ying, Pie, Mad, Ohm for their continuous guest service

As a family, we came and stayed at Red Ginger 2 years ago, and this time traveling with 2 more families, we aimed for the same hotel in Ao Nang. Great location away from the hustle and bustle yet only a couple of minutes walk to the main road. Lovely rooms, comfortable beds, very attentive staff and amazing breakfast + the pool is great in late afternoons when we were back from various activities and the kids could plunge and enjoy it for a couple of hours. 2-4pm at the pool bar and 6-7pm at the lobby bar is a happy hour which we all enjoyed having yummy cocktails (mango and raspberry was the group favourite). Highly recommended and if ever back to Ao Nang, we’d definitely stay in Red Ginger Chic Resort.

The position was all within walking distance of night markets,bars & restaraunts.Staff friendly,nice meals and bar.Pool area lovely and clean,swim up pool bar with Happy Hour..good cocktails!! Rooms lovely,we had a split level room,kettle tea coffee etc..Robes and slippers.Nice size balcony..Pool towels. Breakfast ok,egg station,fruit,pastries etc.

The mattress on our bed was stained, the fitted sheet didnt fit the bed,luckily we had another bed upstairs which we used..The beds were really comfy,just not nice to see a dirty mattress..Didnt think they were enough pool beds,people had to sit on the bar chairs round the pool,half in the shade!!

Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Acted really quickly on any requests or needs/faults. My aircon started leaking after a few days and I brought it to their attention approx 8pm while on the way out, saying that I knew it would probably be looked at tomorrow etc. They got someone up there to sort it while I was out and cleaned up. The rooms were serviced every day and plenty of amenities/helpful bits in the room. Loved the pool, cafe options, cocktails and happy hours! Breakfast was decent. Even a standard room was big.

Some people mention the kids pool from adjacent hotel being outside the balconies if you’re on that side. This didn’t bother me at all because I was out all day and then it’s quiet there in the evening.

Friendly staff and very clean and tidy. Drinks and food around the pool were also very good. Would highly recommend. Will definitely visit again.
