Good location, all staff were exceptionally helpful and the hotel was spotlessly clean. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the manager Tee ran a tight ship and was excellent at predicting the weather.

Hard to find any faults with this hotel, but a minor thing that kept annoying us was the doors to the room were awkward to get in and out. They were authentic split doors in keeping with the design of the hotel but a faff to get in and out unless you unbolted both sides which we didnt want to do when trying to keep out the mosquitos.

Great location, 10 mins from airport, nice traditional, small boutique style hotel, nice pool, nice beach, breakfast was good. Rooms good, staff very helpful, hotel arranged our trips, good reasonable prices. Literally on the main strip so easy for restaurants, bars, shopping, entertainment etc.

NOT the hotels fault but...the hotel next door is being renovated, started drilling, banging, crashing etc at 7am and finished around 7pm, 6 days a week! Hotel is also directly under the flight path, 1st flight 7am, then hourly. Didn't bother my family but I'm very sensitive to sound!!

Staff are great, so friendly and helpful. Always happy too. Rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Pool area overlooking beautiful Chawang beach is awesome. Breakfast is amazing, soo much choice and hot dishes change everyday. Loved it.

Prices for food and drinks are pretty pricey compared to other resturants and bars around but I guess you are paying for the view! Beers are never cold enough just from the fridges but we are Aussies and we like our beer cold so we have to ask bar staff to please put them in the ice/esky for 1/2 hour before we can drink them. However they did this everyday for us without a problem. But if we have a spirit with a mix while we are waiting, its nearly $11.00 each drink and we get 29% off as well. Way too expensive for Thailand but we have noticed that Koh Samui has become a very busy party place for the younger crowd and they tend to pay these ridiculous prices.

The hotel is great — the rooms are comfortable and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and the location right on the main street makes everything super convenient. I really liked staying here!

The pool is quite small but beautiful, with a little private beach area that’s perfectly fine for relaxing. However, it’s worth noting that there aren’t many pool chairs or sunbeds available, so at busy times you might not find a free spot. One day there were no pool towels for about an hour, so just keep in mind that the facilities don’t always fully meet the number of guests. There were also a few days when the party noise was quite loud, but that only happened occasionally. Other than that, the hotel was lovely overall, and the staff were truly amazing

Good location: not too close to the main town to be noisy or crowded, yet close enough to restaurants and shops. Good and convenient direct beach access. Clean beach and clear seas directly in front of the hotel. Shallow lagoon for wading. No noise from guests within the hotel, since adult guests only. Nice ambience from the hotel’s corridor, with a garden and stream-pond parallel alongside the hotel’s corridor. Spacious room with warm decor and good air conditioning, with a walk-in rain shower and large full-body length bath tub. In-house tour counter for booking tours around the island or to neighboring islands. In-house cooking class professionally yet warming conducted, with an in-house professional photographer to capture your cooking experience well. Friendly and attentive staff who greet you and recognize you, always keen to ensure you have a pleasant stay in the hotel. Small bonus: eclectic road-front bar that has a rotating roster of live bands/singers, with good drinks selection.

Insects enter your room easily, especially some kind of midge fly or mosquito. Proximity to the beach means sand may easily enter your room from your footwear. Room has signs of aging, though still well maintained. No lifts and quite a fair bit of stairs, so not sure about mobility impaired access. Swimming pool kinda small, more for casual swimming.

Conveniently located opposite a supermarket and plenty of bars, restaurants and massage salons, ATM on site, accommodating staff, clean room, fish pond added a nice touch, special steak night with live jazz music on the beach, food quality, superb beach view from the sunbeds.

Airconditioning could only be turned off or on to my knowledge, with no mode to pick how hard/soft the fan is blowing. Leaving it off would result in a humid room, leaving it on during the night was cold at times. Some upkeep (rubbers bath area, curtains, fridge) would be nice.

Amazing place, the room was spacious and clean - They made an extra effort for my birthday both in the room and at breakfast! Quiet and comfy in the evenings - tv worked well too . Location was great and we were able to walk to everything we needed, the hotel has a tour desk which we utilised , (4x4 safari and sightseeing was great). Pool was nice and the beach area was good too, it maybe due to the time of the year but the beach was only small and some days the water didn’t go out at all, but plenty to do around the island. However the day we did have at the beach, the hotel provides paddle boards which were fun!

Nothing, would stay again

The Deluxe room was exceptional! Enormous suite with separate lounge, huge bath and ocean views. Very comfortable king bed with soft pillows. Meandering pool allows some quiet space overlooking the beach. Fabulous beach dining under individual tents with super friendly staff! Great location if looking for central Chaweng with shops, restaurants and markets within walking distance. We used for last night to do souvenir shopping for family.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with a good choice. Chef made great eggs! Rooms were cleaned and bedding/towels changed daily. Pool / beach area lovely with towels provided.

Noise from the nightclub down the road kept us awake all night so we didn’t sleep well due to thudding bass which went on til 6am!! They did offer us another room but due to trips out it wasn’t logistically possible. Could be worth checking the sound proofing of the single glazed doors. Bar prices are a little expensive compared to local bars. I would also recommend adding BBC News to the tv package rather than the right leaning GB news.
