Fantastic location on a clean beach with lovely clean calm sea and lagoon where it was very safe to swim all day. Great massage place on the beach with great cheap massages. Beach was cleaned constantly. The breakfast spread was good with plenty of variety of fruits, vegetables & juicer to make juice, breads and pastries, cereals, yoghurt. The gardens were amazing and very well kept. Great central but quiet location.

The owners dogs are taken for a walk in the evening by the caretaker every night and when the dogs poo in the gardens right outside the villas, the mess is not picked up immediately by the caretaker but left until the following day. This is very unpleasant and happened 2 nights in a row. Many non residents came to the resort to use the beach chairs which the hotel charged only 250 Baht for. However it sometimes felt that we couldn't just leave our belongings and swim in the sea as the non residents could easily walk off with it. I heard of plans to build a swimming pool in the gardens - that would put me off revisiting completely.

Excellent property in a lovely garden oasis in a great location on a stunning beach and close to shops and walking street but also fairly quiet. Stayed 8 nights in the standard villa (24) 1 villa away from the main road and while sitting outside you could hear the lovely music from local bars but inside with the A/C on, you couldn’t hear much. The villa and resort had all the amenities one could want. The breakfast was sumptuous with great selection of fruits, breads and pastries, vegetables for juicing, ginger shots, salads,yoghurts, cheeses, cold meats, cereals etc. The vegan food served in the restaurant was excellent and very tasty. The gardens are stunning and very well kept with a huge variety of plants, trees and flowers. Great view of sunrise from the beach, very clean beach and lovely for long walks, amazing calm sea, hardly any waves, not very tidal and great to swim in or just relax and float in the water. Great for children as sea is not too deep with a few sand bars.

Non residents were allowed into the resort and allowed to hire beach chairs making it feel insecure to leave our belongings on the beach chairs while we went for a swim. Nothing happened security wise but none of the other resorts nearby allowed this so why does Kings Garden Resort allow it? Owners beautiful dogs (4) are walked every night but then they poop in the gardens or directly outside the villas. The mess is not cleared up by the handlers and left till the next morning. Guests then have to report it to have it cleared. Wouldn’t it be better if the handlers cleared up the poop straight away? Plans underway for a swimming pool to be built in the gardens which I feel will totally ruin the atmosphere and lovely peace and quiet resort. Not a great idea.

Literally the best hotel we stayed at in Thailand! Perfect location, closed to the airport, closed to the Samui Mall. Private clean beach.

Everything was good

We had the best stay in Thailand here! It was our first time in Asia and we spent our first 11 nights here for our honeymoon and this place is just spectacular! Very friendly and helpful staff, the room cleaning always did a great job, fresh towels and water bottles every day, beach towels provided at request at reception. Mosquito repelling incense available on our terrace. The surrounding lush green garden was kept up every day to make this place a green paradise. The resort is pet friendly and there are several cats walking around and seeking for company - one in particular became our very best friend. There are some dogs on the beach as well but we saw them friendly and basically relaxing on the beach all the time. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was the best - you can chose how you want the eggs prepared and a variety of other breakfast options as well - continental ant Thai - pastries, fresh vegetables and seasonal fruits, freshly squeezed juice, ginger shots etc. Our bellies were happy here :) though we did not try the restaurants menu. Self-service laundromat (paid) available at the property. Our bungalow (no.4) was equipped with everything for a perfect, peaceful stay. The resort has a direct beach access to Chaweng Bay and we actually spent a lot of time on the beach, because what we saw on our walks by other resorts, ours (Kings Garden) had the widest, the cleanest and the prettiest access to beach and the water was just perfect - warm, clean and refreshing. We wanted to return for our final days of the month long travel here, but unfortunately they were all booked - and no surprise, this place really is a GEM!

This was a really lovely place to stay. Bang on the beach with beautiful, well kept gardens. No pool, but why would you when a really good beach is at the door. Staff were very friendly and they are pretty keen to make your stay perfect. The main road is busy and there must be hundreds of food, coffee and bar options. But you would not know it given the quiet atmosphere in the resort. Breakfast is very good and I had dinner here a few nights and the food was great. I'd highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a relaxing stay, and you can turn the hustle and bustle on or off as you wish.

The location is on the best part of the beach. Our Sea Front bungalow is the only one with a direct view of the sea in the whole resort.The breakfast was great and the staff are exceptional.

The only thing we didn’t like is that there is no pool. We would have loved a pool but the seawater is absolutely beautiful directly in front of the resort so we didn’t miss a pool too much.

Air conditioner was not cool enough

Kings Garden a pet friendly resort was charming it had touches of a traditional Thai Village but all the comforts of Home. The main dining area while looking small in the website and booking.com photos was spacious and the food on the menu very good while the staff were super friendly. While Kings Garden are currently building a swimming Pool, we found we didn't really need it. It was quiet and perfect for a relaxing and restorative holiday. The Bathrooms in the Villa look like they may be made of Vinyl but on closer inspection they are made of a quality tiled Sanstone finish and this is understated but attractive.

Little piece of heaven . Location is brilliant, quiet end of chewang beach but short walk anywhere . Great location. The room was stunning 😍 It was incredible having a beach front room watching the sea as the sun rises .. For a more expensive style resort it was worth it be brcause staff were so friendly.and pleasant...not rude like other high priced resorts I've stayed in whilst in Thailand . I loved my stay would definitely come back

Only negative I can think of is more about other travellers putting their towels on sun loungers on the beach at ,6,,am but not coming to use them until 1pm .. such a shame people do this and take it away from others to enjoy the beach for those hours
