It Paradise! If you are looking for an easy going, stress free holiday experience with minimal over crowding then you need to consider Eden Beach resort Khao Lak! The staff were amazing, always friendly and nothing was ever a problem. Ideal location as there are beautiful spots for ocean swimming and a number of beach restaurants or cafes within a 15 min walk. Great breakfasts and their sunset cafe has the best pizzas in the area! If you’re into snorkeling then Surin island is abundant with incredible fish species and other marine animals whilst Similan island is breathtakingly beautiful! We’ve done Phi Phi and James Bond islands previously- Surin and Similan are definitely the ones to visit! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eden beach resort Khao Lak!

Very disappointed that we didn’t book for our whole 2 week break at Eden beach as we booked our first week at Kamala beach Phuket ( way too many tourists and feels like downtown Moscow!) .

Location was excellent, on the beach and a short walk to town centre where there were restaurants and convenience stores. Hotel was well managed , staff were welcoming and helpful, and the rooms were beautiful , airy and clean

On some days the room was not serviced till late, 430/5pm which was awkward when we returned from the beach wanting to change shower etc

Beautiful layout. Nearby small village and not to far away from town centre. The ladies at the day spa were amazing and their menu was well priced. The Pizzas were amazing, Thai food also good (but better in town). Rooms were beautiful.

We could never get a chair/lounge by the pool. They had signs saying they would remove towels on beds if there was no sign of use but didn’t enforce. Breakfast did let them down as was not hot, limited options. The beach was dirty with rubbish but probably not much they can do.

Beautiful gardens, room aesthetic was very relaxing. Staff were always friendly . Lovely beach front location, food was good (but breakfast was disappointing especially eggs Benedict) Happy hour drinks were a reasonable price. Large pool, so plenty of space to swim.

Poorly managed, from check-in where we were just asked for passports (no hello, welcome etc), breakfast should be avoided between 8 and 9.45 no tables, cups or glasses at times, food not replenished.Breakfast is until 10.30 and they start clearing away at 10.30 on the dot, so it's no wonder everyone rushes to be in before 10.Lack of available sun loungers, thanks to the German guests, they were even reserving breakfast tables! The first 2 days it was impossible to find a spot by the pool. This could and should be managed by the staff. Would be lovely if the hotel was adults only.

The best beds we’ve ever slept in, in any hotel! Beautiful beach, lovely restaurants, staff were very nice and they have happy hour twice a day. 2 for 1 drinks.

The location was a bit far from anywhere but not something to complain about, we just didn’t do our research properly. The shower in our deluxe tropical garden room would cut out every minute or so then come back on again, like the pump wasn’t working properly. A bit inconvenient but not a huge issue. And the sun loungers are taken EARLY. Even though they say you can’t reserve then, nothing is done about the guests who do. Putting their towels down and then going away.

This hotel is an absolute gem! We were so impressed that we immediately booked our stay for next year. Its beachfront location is perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to the sea. The on-site restaurants serve high-quality food at reasonable prices, making dining a delight. One of the highlights was the incredible beachside massages—pure relaxation! The atmosphere is peaceful, with no loud entertainment or disturbances, attracting a sophisticated and pleasant clientele. A truly exceptional experience!

The men's restroom near the beach is in need of renovation and should be relocated or better shaded to avoid direct sun exposure. Additionally, while the restaurant service is generally good, it can be a bit slow at times. Given the hot temperatures, it would be ideal if the waitstaff prioritized serving drinks more promptly to keep guests refreshed.

The hotel is located on a beautiful beach, wide and long, with a few bars with thai cuisine. The beach is not crowded, there is a lot of place to relax and have fun in the water. Beautiful sunsets. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful, well maintained garden with little waterfalls. It has a very nice, well equiped fitness with a seaview. Breakfast is full of tasty dishes and good coffee. The main pool - big and not very crowded, safe for kids. In general the hotel is a very nice, elegant place, the rooms are spatious, neat and very clean and bright. It is located close to KhaoLak but far enough to make it a relaxing and quite place. After having visited many places in Thailand, I only must say, that it IS a resort, a very nice one but no longer a cosy place on an island.

What does not fit this elegant atmosphere is the chaos around the pool - many sunbeds squeezed all together, booked by people early in the morning (and many times not used for couple of hours) which makes them unobtainable if you really want to sit on the beach or at the pool.

Great location directly on the beach, few minutes walk down to the little village with lots of bars ATM, money exchange and restaurants, couple supermarkets, tailors and gift shops. Taxi rank in village will take you anywhere, and to Khao Lak main town, market or take you on any tours. Hotel also has a taxi you can book and charge fee to your room. Room was fabulous, Standard Garden View, very large bed, clean, modern, airy and nice balcony area. Bathroom sink area is open to the room with loo and shower behind a door. Mini bar and lots of storage drawers and cupboard and big wardrobe with a safe in, hangers and more drawers. Robes and slippers provided. Room also had kettle, plug in hairdryer and reception provided an iron/board when we needed it. Room cleaners very efficient, and put on a fabulous oil burner which smells amazingly fresh, thought this may be an insect repellent too? We had none. Some plug sockets are universal to most country's fittings (and couple were Thai) so we didn't need adapters for UK plugs. Pool area fabulous, swim up bar with Happy Hours, we always got a sunbed despite it being very busy, The towel guy helps put two together for you if required. We only ate breakfast in hotel and went out for all other meals but it had a fabulous selection for all nationalities. Continental, local, fresh cooked veg or eggs and omelettes. Beach is stunning, about 4 beach bars along to the left, and maybe 4 more round the corner after the rocks (can walk through the wooded area to get through if high tide) great cheap cocktails and fresh food. Some bars have sunbeds you can use if eating /drinking and many have massage huts. Great price and standard. Staff can't do enough for you, lovely people.

Towels do go out early in the morning by breakfast time, despite the notices they put on beds to try and stop this, and many beds are left vacant with towels on most of the day with no people using them, very annoying, but we usually managed to get a couple beds later with the help of the towel guy. Also no waiters coming round sunbeds to take drinks order, though they will happily bring them over if you order at the bar or can wave to get their attention. Beautiful but very annoying resident peacocks squawk every morning and wake you up from around 6am onwards (whenever is sunrise) no need to set alarm clock for breakfast ! Maybe that's their cue to go put your towels out? ;) None of this spoilt the holiday though and we would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable and good size overlooking a pool lagoon , nice size main pool with plenty of Sunbeds and staff very helpful

A lot of stairs to get to anywhere in the resort could have done with some buggy’s , taking guest from the reception to there rooms , along the service road at back of hotel we are 64 and struggle a little whilst I had a grand delux lagoon room , there was no access to the local pool area and you had to use the main pool , and the hotel is located about 15 minutes from Bang Nang market , so you need to taxi or hire a car to get around They do offer a shuttle to the market but you have to book early to get on it

We spent 5 beautiful days at the Eden Beach Khao Lak. The rooms are very confortable with amazing bedding and lovely Balinese style decoration. As we came after the high season we were upgraded to bigger rooms The resort is vast with lots of trees and pools and the beach is really nice with few hotels . The food in all 3 restaurants is really tasty with lots of choice at very reasonable price. The hotel offers complimentary daily activities and I enjoyed morning beach yoga and the small gym. Very welcoming and professional staff , with a special mention to Mickey at the reception who offered us great advices and services with the usual Thai kindness.

Nothing but more shuttles to the city would be a +
