The most value of this hotel is the good customer service, friendly and clear communication of this hotel staff. They tried to help you almost everything that you asked for, even help my daughter send the post card to her grandmother cause we couldn't find where is the place sell stamps nowadays. The family room where we stayed has a smart European design, which creating more space for using, with large mirrors with tailoring details such as white towels indoor and gray towels in pool/beach, beach mattress, beach sandals, water bottles, electric kettle, teabags and coffee...

Quite a lot of Russian tourists in the whole areas which can bring mixed up feelings. They took all of sun chairs/loungers most of the time in advance with their towels.

The location of the hotel was perfect.Close to all the restaurants and a beautiful beach. Our children also loved the pool. Our room was spacious and cleaned daily by the wonderful staff. Breakfast was plentiful although very busy at times.

Phuket was a little too crowded as it was the high season which made it a little difficult getting around due to traffic. A certain group of guests at the hotel persisted in taking everything from the fruit section of the breakfast buffet within a few minutes of the staff refilling it. Pushing in at the line and overloading their plates until the fruit was falling off. Perhaps they have no fruit back home. This group were also rude to staff and other guests.

This hotel was perfect for our family. We thought all the facilities were great. The family room was very spacious, modern and comfortable. Cleaned to a high standard every day fresh bath towels and beach towels provided. We lived that there was a beach bag, beach mat, flip flops and two large umbrellas provided in the room. The pool area is lovely and was very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of options. This Hotel was also less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and literally just off the main street of Karon where there are lots of bars, restaurants,ships etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My son and I fell ill during our stay and they had a Dr. To our hotel room within 30 minutes. They also organised our taxi to the airport when. We were headed home. Great experience for us all round. Highly recommend.

The bedding smelled sweaty and used - but the lovely cleaning lady changed the pillows that were stained and changed the bedding for us. Much appreciated. Didn't like being within meters of a cellphone tower. If we came back I would want a room much further away.

The staff is so lovely and helpful. The room is clean with a very good scent in it and also all fully equipped - hairdryer, bathrobes, kettle, slippers. Wifi is free and superb. The location is so excellence. This is the most valuable hotel I've experienced.

When we arrived someone had defecated in the children's pool which was very unpleasant. Staff were told but nothing was done and children were entering the dirty pool. I dont know how long it stayed like that but not a good first impression at all.

We stayed at Sugar Marina Hotel as a big family group of 12, including 6 children, and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, and the receptionist along with the entire crew were helpful, friendly, and always smiling. Their warm hospitality and support made us feel very welcome. The hotel is located in a quiet area, perfect for families. They have a lovely pool with fun water play activities for children, which our kids enjoyed every day. One of the most memorable moments was when they surprised me with a birthday cake and a beautifully written card from the hotel team — such a thoughtful gesture. Since our flight was before 7:00 am, they even prepared breakfast boxes filled with a variety of delicious items, which we enjoyed together at the airport. This extra care truly reflected their dedication to guest comfort. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly, and memorable stay in Phuket. Few restaurants for halal food are nearby. Only 3 Turkish we found around 1km distance

We were a couple + our 1 year old daughter and we stayed in a Artsy deluxe room that came with a king-sized bed. Room was good and the AC kept it nice and cool. Our room was 2nd floor and faced the breakfast dining area and we didn't have trouble with noise or anything. Breakfast was amazing - waffles with whipped cream and an assortment of toppings (if wanted), bacon, eggs, hams, sausage, fried tomatoes, fresh fruits and salads, yoghurts, quite a few local dishes, coffee (not recommended for us Melbourne sorts), tea, juices and bakery sweets. The kids playroom (with padded floor) was heaps better than any others we had been to and included a ball pit, couple of slides, lego and other toys. The restaurant associated with the (?Kiri) was really quite pleasant and we ate here 3 times. It was a little more pricey than your typical little eatery but if you were to order the same dish at both restaurants, then this one gave better bang for buck. For example, we got the pineapple fried rice at a local small restaurant and price was 120 thai baht and there were 2 prawns in it. But, at Kiri, it cost 160 Thai Baht (or something similar to that) but there were lots more prawns, serving size was bigger and a nicer atmosphere including non-plastic chairs. The pool had a big slide and everything else you wanted.

The gym didn't have AC although it did have 2 heavy duty fans that did the job. The heaviest weights were 12.5kg so it just meant modifying exercises to work with these. It would be nice to have a chin up bar and dip bar. At breakfast, a few people were filling containers with food (after already eating) and taking it away with them. There should be a sign there that states that offenders will be charged a full breakfast fee if caught doing this. It costs the equivalent of $5AUD for a decent lunch/ dinner at the local restaurants. If you're trying to save money, stay somewhere cheaper. Tight arses!

Lots of useful items provided in the room such as beach towels, a beach mat, umbrellas and flip flops. Rooms are excellent and having a balcony is a positive too, nice to sit out on at night. Location was a huge positive here, just a minutes walk to the beach and even less to the main strip of shops and restaurants.

As with most properties of this quality, the price was higher than most others but for the standard of accommodation, this was worthwhile .

The hotel is located in Karon Beach, not in the center of things but is a 5 minute drive from the center of Kata where everything is. We really enjoyed the stay, we get excellent, excellent, excellent for the price, very good breakfast, very good pool and the service there is really good, they take care of everything for you.

The only thing I didn't like was that the room and my floor had a moldy smell of wet carpeting, and it was a bit disturbing at first, but after a day or so we got used to the smell.
