Very clean, pool has a great view

The location is good but is at one end of the beach, but there is taxi stand just opposite the 7/11

The Phoenix is a modern and comfortable hotel. The rooms were a good size and well appointed. The bathrooms were well laid out. Everything was well stocked and cleaned daily. The location is great. An easy drive to get over to the activities in Phuket town. We were outside of the madness that is Patong beach. Karon beach is plenty large enough that anything you are looking for is in easy walking distance. Oh yeah, there are two 7-elevens within spitting distance of the hotel.

The beds were very firm. I like a firm mattress, but these were getting to me by the 4th night.

Everything! The staff, breakfast, location, and the hotel amenities. Special mention to Ronald Corpuz and his partner at reception who went above and beyond to the service and helpfulness they provided. My daughter left her phone at our pickup transfer van and Ronald managed to help us find the driver and get the phone sent to us to our next hotel booking. The friendliness of staff, the beach, shops and attractions so close by, restaurants from high end to very affordable ones, and the pool on the rooftop is simply amazing. Will highly recommend this hotel for sure.

The location was perfect for us, to the beach about 2 minutes walk, 3 minutes to the high street, across the road a whole bunch of nice restaurants and shops. Also it’s almost on the edge of the Karon town so takes few minutes to get to Patong beach or 20 minutes to Kamala beach.

The staff on the reception are tricky and won’t hesitate from taking advantage of the guests. I suggest get your currency changed before arriving to the hotel to check in, because the conversation rate in the hotel is far from realistic. But if you confront them they try to avoid the scandal and end up doing things the right way. The shower was quite unreliable to say the least and sewage smell emerged from time to time. The breakfast wasn’t anything to remember. Although I didn’t care about it as the restaurant with a fantastic food was just across the road.

Nice room, all clean. I was forced change my original room After my arrival, because there was a very bad smell from the waste water pipes. The guy at the reception ( having a night shift ) couldn't help me ( maybe there was no avaible room ), but in the morning i get new room and free upgrade as apologize. Well done 😉. Very nice sunset view from the top roof swimming pool. Nice breakfast - a lot of choices what to eat. 7/11 across the street is a big plus. Hotel isnt right next to the beach , you need to walk a bit and cross superbusy road.

99% of the guests are russians. They are really rude and do not respect other guests ( playing loud russian music from the speaker at the pool every day ).

Staff really helpful and friendly, the breakfast was decent, every member of staff showed excellent customer service and were very professional, we received excellent care and attention to detail from the cleaning staff, they need to be praised. For going above and beyond.

Bed’s mattress was a bit hard for my fiancée’s liking and we really noticed the party tuk tuk and party goers transport outside at night, as the balcony doors aren’t sound proofed. A comfortable memory foam mattress and better sound proofing would go along way.

We liked the location Comfy beds and loved how it was cleaned and beds were made daily.

Lights in 2410 (room) did not work No where to dry towels No shower glass screen but our other room 2409 did have a shower screen but no towel rail and lights worked. For the price of 1300 GBP there should of been a balcony

The location benefits from free pickup for many trips in the region. Beach, smaller shops and many restaurants are close and easy to reach by foot.

We didn't like that the majority of other guests were Russian and therefore the feeling of being in Thailand was dampened. Water pressure was inconsistent, this was sometimes annoying when washing hands or showering. The Minibar was just a fridge with waterbottles. We would have appreciated the opportunity to buy e.g. soft drinks and chips in the room. Quite hard beds.

I liked location and overall cleanliness

My only feedback about improvements would be staff at reception saying hello when you walk in. And the pool could be a bit cleaner. The glass around it in particular. But I was super happy with my stay

Fantastic location - stones throw away from the beach, shops, restaurants etc. Plenty going on in very close distance, but it is nice and quiet. Good spread for breakfast, staff helpful. Rented a bike for the day and was a very simple process. Rooms were nice and clean, in good condition, comfortable bed. Great value for money!
